How to use Vicks VapoSteam with your Vicks Humidifier. VIN008
Vicks VapoSteam produces medicated steam that helps to relieve coughs. It can be used with your Vicks Vaporizers and certain Vicks humidifiers.
To use Vicks VapoSteam, follow these helpful steps. Make sure your humidifier is on a firm, level, water resistant surface at least twelve inches from the wall. Humidifier must be at least 4ft away from bedside (especially with children). All components must be in the right place. (tanks closed & seated into place, any parts missing, etc.)
Add one tablespoon of the Vicks VapoSteam inhalant to the medicine cup. For the Vicks Vaporizer, add 1 tablespoon of the Vicks VapoSteam inhalant to the medicine cup or add 1 tablespoon of solution to each quart of water directly to cold water into the Vicks Vaporizer tank.

Turn the control knob to your desired setting on your humidifier. Within 10 minutes you will be experiencing soothing medicated vapors with Vicks VapoSteam.

How long does one table spoon of vapo steam last? Does it last all the way until the water runs out?

Can you use this in a Vicks Ultrasonic cool mist,i know it has vapo pad slots but that doesn't seem to give out much smell.

Fyi, the box of oil says to add it to the water. I told my partner that a pharmacist said not to do that and to add it to the designated area. You may want to update the directions on the vaposteam box. I think putting directly in the water messes it up somehow.

Why does the directions say your can’t add vaposteam to the water in Canada? Add it to the water, it’ll help you faster than just in the cup.
