My original intention for this humidifier was to use it for plants that require high moisture levels. After using it in my room, czcams.com/users/postUgkxtD9aJ2m6GU-X1IChQxjn9l31K1A7Kpwj however, I think that's where it is going to stay in the fall and winter season at least. The increased humidity in my room made the room warmer and more comfortable. I had first ran the humidifier for 4 hours with the timer setting for it. After the first hour, I checked my room and can feel the difference. When the full 4 hours was up, I checked again and noticed that the humidifier was shut off as it is suppose to. The moisture level never seem to get passed 56/57%. I then let it run until all the water is used up, which it wasn't all used up. There are still some left in the base that you are not suppose to add water to. I filled up the water tank all the way again, being careful when removing it from the base. Some left over water may spill out. After putting it back on and setting the unit to auto, I let it operate. It didn't stop running, rather I don't know if it did at any point since I didn't check it regularly, for 24 hours after which the water in the tank ran out. The moisture reading never passed 56/57%, which may be a good thing for me. Being situated right next to my bed, the noise was not very noticeable with the occasional water gurgle from time to time as the unit ran.
I don’t have kids or i don’t need a humidifier but if i was to get one it would definitely be one by Vicks, they make some products. Right now i am using a dehumidifier in my room
I like the idea of a humidifier that is also a night light, even though I'm not a child with the hours I keep, a night light saves me from a lot of bumps and bruises! Also with the dryness this year in the air, I think I really need one of these, I am shocking myself or others a little too much lately, and yes I am picking my feet up when I walk and not just shuffling around :D
I love, love, love this idea! Adding the star, night light feature really makes this humidifier stand out. Vick's has been a name to depend on throughout the years with good products for health and wellness and I think they have another hit on their hands with this product.
Sounds great being able to deal with my stuffed up nose each night! Vicks rocks when it comes to clearing my nasal passages. I'd like to get a humidifier but one without so much work, and without the nightlight. But that sounds great for a kid! I'd like one with more settings other than full blast or sleep mode like this one.
Aww the night light is so neat. Humidifiers are so great. Love the cool invisible mist. They help with so many issues. I'd love to have one of these. Just so costly =(
I love the starry night feature, but ended up getting the Sunbeam hot mist vaporizer instead. No filters to clean and replace and I like the hot steam.

Great review! I am on the hunt for a good humidifier because the air is so dry during winter. I think I would have to pass on this one due to the bright blue light. I would find that too distracting. What is the "easiest to use" humidifier? Are there any that don't need a filter?

Excellent review, was going to change out the none filter one for this one but I think I would keep the one I have.
What if u just don’t put the filter and use just filtered water and put the vapor drops in the water

Do you take the filter out and let set out during the day?
We have one at home and I swear that the blue light turns red when the water level gets low. Does it have the auto shut off function?
