- Mexican Mario in Odyssey

America: known for letting people own guns
Also America: **censores them**
Yes guns are fine as long as you don’t promote them to children .
Until Biden takes them away
Well, whenever gun violence happens, typically politicians would rather blame video games than propose gun control laws.
I watched a CZcams video about that, it's because in America children can actually copy what they see fictional characters do with guns because they are more likely to have one

0:33 I don't understand why they censored it if it's no big deal to have a tiara with Rabbit ears
8:05 The Odyssey censorship was so unecessary. Sure, ponchos and sombreros are a stereotype, but they're still part of our culture, and the level itself is full of references to mythology and ancient cultures. I've never seen a Mexican getting angry at this
As a Mexican I can confirm this and I don’t get angry at it

@@DangerWrap it's more like Mario, who is famously not Mexican, dressing up as such, it probably wouldn't have been a big issue to anyone but they probably wanted to play it safe by having something else on the cover.

Yeah, but since the game came out for most countrys, its posible that early render wouldn't be enough to get antencion for people who likes dressing up Mario with some unique costumes.
That happens a lot with censorship, people are offended for a group of people who dont give a shit, like with apu, literally everyone who complained was white, i didnt see any indians on twitter complaining about apu's white voice actor

I find it funny how Kirby can allow blood, smoking, alcohol, and even a suggestive joke one time, but Mario can't.
