Giant SLR wheel system. On my Propel Advanced Pro2 bike. Wheels roll seriously smooth. Not sure about the tubeless tyres yet though. May have to go back to my GP4000S tyres and tubes.
I have the same setup. What drives me crazy is how uneven the sound is. Another thing.. Have you ever had problem with a tubless tire (tube inside) that does not align perfectly when put on your rims?
Did you go back to GP4000's? I am also debating this move back. GP seem to have much more grip with the tire compound. The Gavia do ride smooth though and soak up bumps well.
goat noise lol I've been waiting to test it out properly and just got back from 106mile ride today. can now give a good opinion on it mate. its coming don't worry!
@@williamansell3250 Willian, I assure you I work my A** off for everything. What I mean is that MY set, although they are rebranded DT Swiss hubs with unknown bearings, were crap - the worst have ridden. I have that bike away wheels and all. Monetary stuff is temporary - fun for the moment. When I ride - or do anything - I want something that performs and if I have to pay more for the performance, not just the name, then I will. As far a Giant and their offerings, I will NEVER ride their stuff again. I bought that because it was relatively cheap in the cycling world. 😁
@@Mattjccook Matthew - they both use DT Swiss hubs, and are both made in China!! LOL The difference is that ICAN cares about selling a quality product and Giant makes stuff for many companies in their factories in China an Taiwan. They are selling you bulk garbage. I LOVE my Bianchi and even the Fulcrum wheels that came on them..... with DT Swiss hubs. Zipp uses Novatec - look it up. All rebranded like Giant did with the Jenson power meter. All you are buying with a bulk make is the name, not the quality. And you are correct - Giant was the ONLY bike I hated.
nice sounds
We have the same wheelset its sounds great its a head turner while on the road.
Thankyou
Do you know the no. of hub bearing of this model. I've been struggled to find from the internet.
I have the same bike and wheels, I probably only have half the loudness of yours? Any idea why

Hw much did they cost?
Are these the SLR wheels in 42mm

Hi I’ve just bought a bike and the wheel makes the same noise I thought there was something wrong but I take it it’s meant to sound like that?
yes its normal, more expensive wheels make that sound.
What does your bike weigh? what are they like in cross winds? Thanks!

I have them on my 2019 Giant TCR Pro 0. They are the cheapest wheels I have ever ridden. They are entry level crap.
Whereas your Chinese made OEM ones are awesome. I smell a rat.
Wow you had some rich parents!
