    I just made my own cash envelopes for the first time. I spent $0. Instead of throwing away my 2019 dogs calendar, I tore away each month's sheet and folded in half and cut them accordingly to fit cash bills. I used scotch tape to seal the sides and labeled each one of my categories. Voila! Now I can continue seeing these adorable dogs faces for another year 🐶.

    Oh my gosh that’s way too much for Christmas!!! If you can, try and get the majority of Christmas shopping done the week or two after Christmas and during Cyber Monday. These are the cheapest times to buy gifts. And if you have any clothing gifts to purchase, buy those off season. So for example, a coat to gift for Christmas would be shopped for during the summer. I never spend more than $100 a yr for Christmas. This includes gift wrap, bows, gift bags etc.

    Eating healthier doesn’t have to be more expensive! Evaluate what it is that is making your over all total more expensive. It’s often time those unnecessary items that make you FEEL like your healthier but it’s actually needed. IE expensive frozen meals, organic nuts and seeds, fun gluten free fours or delicious dark chocolate.

    • @jasmeetkang8567
      @jasmeetkang8567 Před 4 lety

      Healthy eating is expensive because you need to buy organic things. Every other fruit/vegetable that is cheaper than organic is processed with GMO and that takes away a lot of the nutrients which make it healthy. Ex. 2.99 grape tomatoes vs 5.99 grape tomatoes. The whole way to be healthy is getting organic food so you know the fertilizer is actually good for the food not harmful and processed like GMO and that’s in most fruits and veggies that aren’t organic lol frozen meals aren’t healthy in any way.. so idk why someone would buy frozen meals to be healthy but yeah organic stuff is the way to go hence why grocery shopping is expensive plus you got to actually look at the stores you go to. Wholefoods or Zehrs has amazing organic and healthy food really expensive but their food is top quality and none of it is processed so I don’t mind spending my money there. Not sure if the US has stores like food basics/freshco or no frills but if they do then those stores do not have organic food at all they usually stick the organic label on it LOL so you have to be wary on it.

    • @kissherwithlies
      @kissherwithlies Před 4 lety

      I pay $60 with progressive but that includes two people (two vehicles) on the plan.. which is cheaper than State Farm I originally had. It really depends on the people on the plan and the area you live in

    • @elizabethd6993
      @elizabethd6993 Před 4 lety

      They most likely carry liability which isn’t going to cover a replacement car if in an accident. In the state I live in you are not allowed to have liability on a car that you are making payments on, you must have full coverage. I carry full coverage on all my cars even though they are all paid off because if someone totals or if I total my car I want some actual money to purchase a new car.

    • @kissherwithlies
      @kissherwithlies Před 4 lety

      It really depends on the location and the insurance company.. my insurance plan on full coverage on two vehicles for $60 a month. But my state, you don’t even need full coverage on a vehicle if you’re making payments, you can just do liability if that’s all you can afford. I always choose the full coverage plan and it’s still less than what everyone else here is paying. Just gotta look around at your options

    Why would you keep so many cash envelopes when your life can be so much easier by keeping it all in the bank and keep track of them each in your notebook? It is possibly the satisfaction of stuffing the envelopes, perhaps.

    • @abbybohlman3231
      @abbybohlman3231 Před 4 lety +1

      Mitzi73 maybe since it’s cash in an envelope she keeps it at home so she won’t be able to spend it. Like for me if it’s in the bank (even if I’m saving) I have a tendency of spending it 😅
