    Not only hearing your chipmunk voice was funny but it was also so adorable. It made me think Alvin and the Chipmunks or one of the Chipettes were budgeting lol

    New subscriber. Great videos😀. Could you give some tips on how you keep the grocery budget the same when food prices keep going up😨

      It’s all about planning the meals you will make throughout the week, that’s truly the secret.

    Where did you get your envelopes? They're all so cute!

      They actually came with the wallet, and the wallet is from Amazon. I have the link in description box.

    how do you calculate the amount of dollars to put in the various envelopes?

    • @theplanningcorner24
      @theplanningcorner24  Před 4 lety +4

      I tracked my expenses based on category, that’s how I came up with a number. So I tracked all the time I went out to eat during the month and then came up with $100 budget to minimize my spending in that category. Same with all the other cash envelopes. That’s also how I came up with the categories, and it’s trial and error. It will not be perfect at all the first few times.

      @@theplanningcorner24 so the plastic top loading envelopes were part of your Amazon wallet? If so, is it one of the 3 wallets you linked? Thanks!

      Yes the envelopes came with the wallet. Here’s the link: www.amazon.com/dp/B07YXKJZ5L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_mdZgEb8W0XK9K

    Would have liked to have seen the break down in real time instead of the chipmunk version. Awesome job saving with decreased spending
