    Most importantly, Raise3D is finally raising 3d prints instead of lowering them.

    I love the enthusiasm here - both Joel and Derek. I now wish that I was in a larger scale manufacturing environment.

    Please let me try one of these out 🙏🏽 love the intelligent build plate idea, traceability and error proofing wash/cure settings are certainly improved above current methods. 👏🏼

    It may be out of my price range, but anytime I see a new Resin printer that doesn't use ChituBoards I smile

    Hope DLP gets cheaper and more widely available, especially at larger build volumes.

    Looks good but it’s designed for high end production for the normal user at 5000 it’s out of there price range. If I was running a print farm it would be something I would consider.

    It looks like the 3d printer can auto fill resin, can it unfill too?

    "Config stored on the build plate, and follows the part" -- Severe doubt. Company would ask me to store things server-side, every time. But, if this is actually what they did, dealing with the tiny capacity that RFID tags have, definitely has my attention.

    oh 100% two G´s = at first: good Chemistry between you two! - and secondly: a really good locking and smart Printer!
    Perfekt start in my Day! Thank you Joel for this Quality of Information! Interesting fact for me, after watching the video 4 times I still find it just as interesting as the first time! Good job!

    78um resolution - sure it's a DLP, but man if you are printing functional parts that kind of resolution starts being a problem if you want close-fitting parts. The lower the native resolution (um) the harder you have to work as a designer to get parts to fit. Now once you've figured it out then you can crank the parts out. $7K eh?

    • @Welcome2TheInternet
      @Welcome2TheInternet Před 5 měsíci +1

      it's $5,000. Still too expensive for that small build volume and that resolution. What is Raise3D playing at?

    • @loren16081
      @loren16081 Před 5 měsíci

      Hi man, just curious what close-fitting parts you generally print with DLP?

    Nice to see that the've got some things right. At our company we've bought a Raise3D Pro2 plus a few years ago for an insane amout of money, thinking it would be a user friendly experience and a good point to start. We had to learn the hard way that the missing ABL was rendering this printer pretty much useless since the build plate is crazy uneven. Now it is standing around and collecting dust because neither a upgrade path by Rais3D themselves was provided nor is the printer open source so that we could add some state of the art technologies ourselfes. You can't even use 3rd party slicers with that shitbox

    • @Welcome2TheInternet
      @Welcome2TheInternet Před 5 měsíci

      yes, we have had nothing but problems with Raise3D machines. They look pretty but the quality and reliability is shite for the price you pay.

      it's already dropped to 5k on the site. So at this rate, about 1 week.

  • @76mimo

    Thanks the Video 🎉
    The price seems quite competitive for an industrial DLP-System. But it's also a locked system which makes it unattraktiv für professionals who wants to have full control over every parameter.

    • @Welcome2TheInternet
      @Welcome2TheInternet Před 5 měsíci

      Anycubic D2 is 1/10th the price, DLP and has similar build volume. is this 10x better than the D2? I see no evidence of that.
