Using simple pflow setup we will create flamethrower with the help of this powerful plugin fumefx. Great tutorial. I learned a lot. Any chance you could do a tut on short flame bursts going across the stage so they fade to reveal text that's on fire but goes out shortly after the flame thrower burst peter'sout? A bonus could be the text cooling down.

Great tutorial, thank you! I've had a hard time playing with FumeFX in 3ds Max 2020 though because the default radius parameter was set to 0.1 instead of 1.0. So watch out.

You don't need to reduce the Strenght to 0.01
In FORCE inside the PfFlow, you can adjust the influence of the force.. From 1000% to 100%
it will help a lot =)
If we reduce the influence of the force ....then the turbulence from wind will also have less impact on the particles.
sanvfx Point ! We don't have to reduce each component just need to reduce the strength. Grt Tut man. :)
