What are your thoughts surrounding the MWZ experience in MWIII? I definitely believe Fortunes Keep is coming at some point but having to wait even longer for something to happen in this mode is frustrating. I think it is fair to say more is on the way but it will be light until Season 3 and beyond.

Infinite Warfare Zombies is the best non-Treyarch 3rd mode and CoD WWII's mode may have been lacklustre but it was still decent imo
So why does it have to be Trey when Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer have proven that they're capable of making Zombies 🤷🏻♂️

I bought a bicycle at Walmart this morning and went for a ride and listened to Nirvana this afternoon instead of playing COD. Felt great.
But then watched a video about COD, irony.
I really enjoyed DMZ. I wasn't super great at it but enjoyed infilling doing contracts and then getting to Exfill. MWZ is similar to be except no being chased by squads dead set on hunting you down. MWZ I can burn 40-50 minutes of mindless entertainment from a 10hr work days and chill. I hope they add some side missions and maybe a second map.
It's disappointing that the special gun that the warlord has if you exfil with it doesn't give you a blueprint

Thats imposible, its an online game, the server kicks you if you are not moving, you are not conecting to the entire game, the game creates a lobby and your are conected to that lobby, lobbies are disable in a period of time, if they remove the time, again the Server kicks you why?, because server needs to release memory. Etc , i dont remenber an online game with a inlimited time lobby

@@TonyFrost5284easy answer every zombies mode that had an online component single player or with friends. As long as no disconnects or power surges happens, you stay in the game. Games like cold war, zombies capped at 55 or something for health and damage. So timers are irrelevant up to and including memory on servers. If this mode had a solo option, id be playing it but it dont and i hate people but i hate time constraints more on a pve setting.

I still stand by the belief that people were only calling MWZ “good” solely because of how dogshit the Zombies experience was in Vanguard. Nothing will beat the round based experience

I feel that a stand alone Zombies game (Live service with updates, battle passes, new maps and events all zombies themed) in the call of duty universe without the need of campaign, multiplayer and Warzone is what a lot of Zombie fans would love. Including myself. Especially since MP has been a joke since MW2019 and not everyone is a BR fan. I don't enjoy MP anymore since it's a SBMM sweatfest 24/7 and I'd rather relax and have fun with others fighting zombies non stop.
Odd, I relax and have fun all the time and the matchmaking is fine...oh by relax you meant not try and drop high streaks on shit players.
@@aelinstue9431 What I mean by relax is not having to sweat to have fun when I get stomped on by pro type players. Before MW2019, my matches in CoD have been normal (non sweaty) and fun. That's not the case anymore from my experience.

I think that is precisely the problem. They're seeing more money made on the F2P aspect of this game in Warzone and MWZ unfortunately falls under the "premium" title like MP
@PrestigeisKey I think mwz should have been free to play from the beginning, it would allow more players to experience and enjoy what is in my opinion a masterpiece. A small sliver of me hopes they see the cries and feedback and has something to either explain why they have to push everything to mid season or have something secret that is coming at launch that may surprise us. I'm hopeful there's still good to come to mwz
despite how much fun I've already had, I agree with the gamemode feeling like a waste. to be clear, a majority of the fun is generated from just playing with a friend or meeting new friends. the mode itself is kinda monotonous. I wish they kept dmz.

Yeah I enjoyed Black Ops Cold War zombies but there was not enough Maps especially since Black Ops 4 got at least half a dozen maps

Nah the Dark Aether is set in Al Bagra Fortress which is a reused map from MWII.

Nobody is actually playing MW3 zombies. At least not enough people to keep updating it like it's a good experience. They're realizing that round based maps are far more popular and necessary to keep a larger audience coming back. The layoffs had nothing to do with it.

Ironically the zombies mode he is worried about in the video is the most original version of zombies we've had in a while. Very far from being the same turn based mode we are used to & what a lot of zombies players seem to want back in the new upcoming game (the same old thing). COD is the same because the players ask for the same things to come back, like Shipment or turn based zombies.
Zombie needs a Stand alone game alway from MP & WZ, across titles with a dedicated team.
They couldn’t make their own mode so they had to butcher whatever personality zombies once had by making it realistic and shoving more warzone like mechanics cause they can’t make a good third unique mode by themselves. Don’t know why they couldn’t just try extinction again especially since it can be unique to the modern warfare series and treyarch can keep their zombies mode but that’s just my opinion 🤷♂️
It costs resources and if the player base isn’t there it’s an easy call to allocate resources elsewhere.
In the end, BO3 zombies will never be topped. We experienced the last true golden age of Zombies then. & while i personally enjoyed Infinity Warfare zombies for how different it was.... every Zombies mode since 2017 has been a dissapoint for me and hasnt reached the heights of WAW to BO3
Live-Service games/genres like MMOs are what I see as decent and passable, mainly because they are clearly designed with that in mind since conception. But if the live service title is something like CoD, it doesn’t always work. Newer CoDs being a perfect example of this, they clearly are not able to juggle between Warzone and the current premium title when it comes to live service offerings.
Some companies can do live service well, others cannot. But it’s clear as day CoD should never have entered the Battle Royale scene which caused a clear shift in priorities for the franchise.
This is why I didn't buy MW3. It ain't worth $70

If they plan for future seasons add similar to 4 Squares or less worth of Content for MWZ and have them "In Season" then there's no hope for MWZ and we're better off hoping with COD 2024 Zombies.
Perhaps they might surprise with more Zombies content to be added for Season Two Reloaded but it seems very unlikely.
At least Warzone isn't the primary focus this season and MP is getting love so that's good to see. Tho as someone who plays Zombies and "Only Zombies" this Season's disappointing, I'll probably start the grind for the Zombie Mastery Camo's for the MW2 Guns and do all the Seasonal Challenges for MWZ S2 then jump back onto other games once hitting 250 and having all the Season Two Zombie Challenge Calling Cards.
I guess when I say future I mean the remainder of MWIII (Seasons 2-6)

Played round based zombies in world at war, amazing. Kinda just fell off of it after a few different cods. This looter extraction version is awesome. My friends and I play it a lot. I’m sad to see how new content is taking a back seat for this mode. I have that luck sometimes.

And in Gulf war they will be all in the first few seasons and then fall off like they have done with the past several titles. It’s just a cash grab to get the next game out. Get us all hyped, spend our money and they then bounce over to the next title.
I would play zombies if the game would stop crashing on me, making me lose everything I brought into the match. The last 5 or so games I played I would infil, fully-loaded just to crash 30 seconds into the game and lose everything. I would just close the application and try again when my equipment cooldown was completed. After this happened over and over and over again.... honestly I lost all interest in playing zombies. I decided to replay Baulders Gate and actually enjoy a complete game. Then I switched to Palworld (a $35 early access game) and played that for a few days. It felt so nice to play something that wouldn't crash. Kinda regretting spending the $70 on mw3.
Its so sad because its so fun. It has such a large community around it too. Im so exhausted from this bs live service. If i had a development team id ensure they finish the game for release then add content over time and not just seasonal based stuff either. I mean at least a little bit that's easier to do that's asked for then large updates. Fixes would be put out ASAP regarding bugs and glitches. Monetization would be there but nothing like now. It'd be very logical pricing (nothing above 10 dollars) because that's micro, not macro. I wouldn't monitize a single player game other than base price.
honestly i just feel really bad for people that have grinded out this mode just have little to no new content to work with post-launch. i feel like this is similar to the way VGZs went, its lackluster and not very redeemable. sad to see that such a great mode is getting thrown to the side while WZ and MP get all those cool modes n crossovers :/

Treyarch was in charge of VG Zombies, MW2 ranked play, MW3 Zombies and ranked play. So they didn't have 4 *uninterrupted* years 🤷🏻♂️

Even though that I understand your "bad zombies experience is better than Spec Ops" argument, I honestly can't agree. Of course, MWZ is definitely better than previous year Spec Ops... but why do we even have a bad zombie experience in the first place? Why is Treyarch always forced to make zombies for another game studio instead of focusing on their own title? Just because Call of Duty needs 3rd gamemode and zombies are always the only suitable choice? If zombies are bad, I'm certainly not gonna invest my time or money into them, so there's no difference. Call of Duty needs a new fresh breath of air in so many levels and 3rd gamemode is one of them. Instead of forcing Treyarch to make another half baked zombies experience, Activision and other studios should make something completely new with unique gameplay and identity. Yes, we had plenty of other gamemodes (spec ops, survival, chaos mode, extinction, free run, atomgrad raids etc.) that flopped or just weren't as popular as zombies, but why they are so afraid of can't innovating, trying new things or reworking some older ideas? It could attract completely new players, give a rest to Treyarch for their own zombies and avoid a zombie fatique that was already present a few years back.

I wish they just would have stuck with DMZ and waited till the next black ops title for zombies. After 6 days worth of MWZ, and getting both mastery camos i would rather have round based zombies along with outbreak. A big thing that I liked about CW zombies was that I could play it offline. Sometimes I just don't wanna deal with people.

CoD 2.0, ladies and gentlemen. Live service was a mistake. The DLC Map Packs felt more impactful than this season's slop. At least you were guaranteed to get a map. A whole map! Every single drop! Modern CoD could never.

Tbh, I love MW3 multiplayer. IMO the core gameplay is one of the best in awhile. But SBMM ruins it for me. So the only thing I like to fall back on is zombies but with pretty much no new content the game feels dead to me. It’s a shame because there’s so much potential here and they’re throwing it away.
Call of duty at this point more than ever is just gargling the ballz of the live service game model and because of it, I've just moved on at the point. Live service is a cancer on the gaming industry...

How many hours have you played? 100? 200? 300+ hours? Not saying im not dissapointed but acting like we javent got $70 worth of game out of thus is crazy. Expecting 12 months of none stop new content for free isnt realistic.

Zombies has been trash since Cold War, this is unsurprising.
They have forgotten who their fanbase is. The call of duty fan base doesn't want some new ground breaking game every year. We want the same shit but better looking. They need to stop making their games bigger and start making them better. We dont want or need a new gamemode every year, we need refinement of the formula build built up for over a decade. The bigger they make the games, the worse they come out. Sure there is more content, but that content is less fun.

MW3 Zombies is big scam from the start. First and till today we have only one map (with lots of problems, more than 90% of the loot in the game its not possible to use at all...) Than farming exfill was very fun because lots of Zombies spond, but no they remove that form the game. Than people like to use cranes again no they close it because of Chinese boss which is good for nothing. Than weapon stash and outlast contracts spond lots of zombies and people love that, but again no they again reduce number of zombies there. Than they have Fortnite skins. Not enough Zombies on the only Zombie map on the game. They are removing everything good from the game since day one and that is a fact. Im big Zombie fun and im very disapointed. Thinking to go back to Cold War Zombies like my friend. even in the MW3 game menu Zombies are last on the right...
