So r u keeping the stock vnt rings or u changing them. I'm planning to try to diy a hybrid gtb22 but im confused with what ur doing with the vnt ring. Do u change it to a bigger one or just bore it out and limit the vanes !!
The rings are the same. The bearing housing from the lmm gets machined for clearance for the lly turbine. I’m not sure why it’s like that but it locks up on the bearing housing if it’s not machined there when converting from an lmm to an lly turbine

12-16 lml is the duramax with the curved angle exhaust housing downpipe flange.
2011 is the first year. Also around the later models of lml they went to a 3 bolt down pipe.
It came off LML.
