Ah man this is the first video I’ve commented on. But I gotta say you’ve helped me so damn much. I’ve watched tons of your videos. Last night I just ordered my moza r5 huddle. I have a t300 and it’s failing left and right. Taking that back once my r5 gets here. Been on the sim for less then a month and loving it. Also you’re insane at drifting man ❤️❤️😭👏
One last thing I can get the nrg quick release and any cheap wheel and it should work with no problems for drifting ?
Getting my R5 soon and can't wait! I cheat and have my degrees of rotation down to 540 on my g920 to drift and it still feels like crap. Seeing how the wheel self-steers like that is amazing! The G920 is way too slow to do that lol
What was the in-game FFB setting?
So the pedals are the weak point of the bundle since they’re hall sensors and not load cell. But I’m sure mods from 3rd parties will come up with ways to improve the brake feel.

You could use rc car 140mm shock absorbers. Which can also be done with CSL pedals from fanatec
Yeah, as expected you pretty much won't find anyone using R5 without the brake mod.

What FFB Settings do you use in Asetto/Content Manager? Would be nice to see as I'm struggling figuring out how to set up my r5 compared to a g920

Would you recommend the r9 over the r5? I already have pedals and I intended to use an aftermarket rim so there wouldn’t be much point in getting the bundle.

I've got r9 with a cheap ebay qr and wheel of my choice and it's great.
The R9 is super nice and if you all ready have other parts just the base would work. If you intend to use a aftermarket wheel you just need a base and a QR
the r5 is not ready for comp
r9 is a better wheel than r5 but the r5 is more affordable
I am aware that adding a clutch (pedal) is possible, Is adding a gear shifter + handbrake be compatible with this wheel set bundle as well? Apologies for the noob question as this is a great contender for my first sim rig setup.
I think Moza only has the wheel bases and wheel. And they have the pedals rabbit is using. Not sure which ones those are. They may be a bundle feature. Their site offers two different sets of pedals. I have the SR-P pedals and they are super nice with a brake load cell. The clutch is available too. I haven’t seen a handbrake or shifter on their site. I use a thrustmaster shifter and a usb handbrake

@@KDMCulturePH You can run any USB handbrake and shifter with the MOZA setup I currently run my fanatec shifter and handbrake right now with my MOZA setup.
@@KDMCulturePH Moza now have a H pattern shifter, handbrake and the sequential shifter coming 20th February and it can be connected on the back on newer v2 units. Also a truck wheel on the way. Amazing piece of kit this r5 bundle.

The FFB on R5 is 5.5nm. The t300 is 4.5nm so the feed back is higher and is more precise as the r5 is direct drive base

That’s me right now. I want to build around the cockpit I have now and then build my ultimate rig slowly while still being able to race while not spending so much at a time.

You can you the same settings on the R9 but I would have the FFB part at about 50 to 60 not 100
