  • Sharing my next submission to PCGS features coins I found in change that have mint errors worth money! Some are more valuable than others, but wanted to show what I look for when deciding what to send in for grading

    Hope you get all the variety designations and good grades. Thanks by the way for the info on the 5 submission deal. I got the notification from PCGS and saw the currency special and didn't notice the other. So now I'm definitely putting in for another submission.

      Yea I've already mentally prepared for that disappointment lol. I was on the fence with the quarter, but I figured nothing ventured nothing gained. I wouldn't be able to sit still without knowing if it would grade

    Good luck with the submissions.
    The blue nickel may be the result of cobalt in the nickel alloy. It will be interesting to see how it gets graded.

    Killer submission brother. I have a feeling on that BiCent they are gonna spank you on that wheel mark for sure. Id see what Mr.Tisdales opinion is as well but imho they prob are gonna call counter wheel damage. Overall amazing submission. You’ve been killing it. You guys have me wanting to make videos. Here’s to your continued success. Can’t wait to see the results.

    That was an easy and instant sub for you. What magnification are using and what type of scope is it? I have many coins I suspect have doubling on them, but my loop is only a 10X magnification. I'd also like to ask you how much PCGS is charging for how many coins? I understand you have to join them for an additional fee? I am certain some of my collection should be graded, but currently find that cost prohibitive. And I reside within the EU. Any help is appreciated.

    • @anguscollectibles7023
      @anguscollectibles7023  Před 2 lety +1

      Well if the box is telling the truth, its a 1000x scope. Bought it off amazon. It depends on the service tier you go with, but I usually go economy which is $22 per coin plus $18 for the variety attribution. So with shipping and handling fees, its about $50 US per coin. I know there is a PCGS europe that might be worth checking out if youre in the EU. Hope this helps!

    Your 1972 Lincoln is all machine doubling. Not a double die. Also your 1983 d has all machine doubling/ die deterioration. 1964 dime is not the ddr again its machine doubling. I think the 1976 quarter is the ddo. I feel is impaired. I'm sorry to be a Debby downer dude. I can email you some photos of die deterioration coins and machine doubling coins and doubled die coins so you can see what they look like.

      @@anguscollectibles7023 yell you what. I have a little secret for you. Buy brown Ikes. You can buy these for $11 each. Look for 1971s DCAM fs-103 and fs106
      1972s DCAM fs101. Grade those there worth a lot.
