Love you Man! Keep up the good work!
Awesome content brother!
Your 1920 Pilgrim has me full of fear. I sent one in for restoration back on 6/17 and it is still in grading. That AU58 looked nearly as good as my 66+ in a "non-approved" holder. At least I know not to expect much. Thanks and I'm now a subscriber.
Curious on how this came out. Did you get it back? I'm almost tempted to cross over to NGC or ANACS and see what happens
@@anguscollectibles7023 Called in yesterday and the coin is still in limbo. Hopefully I'll hear something before the Baltimore coin show near the end of this month. Just wow!
Yes, I wish PCGS would tell us the why on coins results. Especially considering how much it costs and how long it takes.
Right!? I would love a one liner explanation on what they're seeing. Might even be willing to pay for that option
Thank you for showing your experience with the restoration process. I know it will allow me to make a more informed decision if I ever decide to do it in the future.
Happy to help man! Proceed with caution. What do you have you're looking to restore?
I love that you're honest and that you show every coin and what you were talking about that you wanted restoration on
Thanks man! I figure it could help others out if I’m transparent about what I pay and how the coins come back. Might save someone some money from avoiding a similar mistake
Sweet!!
You haven't seen the invoice lol
Sorry things didn't go better with this group. Thanks for sharing with us!!
I'm chalking it up to a learning lesson. I gotta show the bad with the good bc that's all part of the hobby!

Hi Sir.Good morning.
And just in case this is genuine. How can make transactions outside our country in such big amount?Kindly help me out.I am willing to make a good Deal with you Sir.I don't exactly how the transaction goes in this kind of big deal.Thank you so much.Have a Great morning Sir.
I love your channel! I like the same coins you do. I'm sending my first submission with 25 coins to start. I have a beautiful 1875 cc 20¢ hoping to score on. Great job with that ms64 morgan!
Thanks for the compliment! Let me know if you decide to make a video of your grading results. Would love to check it out Good luck on the 1875 CC!
I have only Liberty one dollar 1922.
That '97-S Morgan is a beauty.
Thanks! One of my favs from the order
that 1935 is more like a 63 than scratched, send to ngc.
Think so? I was tossing that idea around. I guess it can't hurt at this point. Plus PCGS is at 2 months on my regular submission, so looks like there's a backlog of some sort
expensive lesson, but good video, subscribed!
Thanks! Yea the total restoration cost was maybe $50 more than the total would’ve been for straight grading. So not as bad, but definitely could’ve been worse. Kind of a lucky break, but the ungradable coins didn’t get charged for restoration, so I guess that’s a small win in itself. I think I’m gonna start going with NCS exclusively for restoration
Sir,how will I know if the Peace Dollar I am managing/handling now is genuine?Your response is highly appreciated.
Genuine is easy to determine, value is not.
Couldn't see the coins
Yea sorry about that.. Still figuring out how to film properly and I am by no means close to being decent at it. My most recent video is quite a bit better with the coin resolution if you wouldn't mind checking it out. Appreciate the feedback!
I feel ya on your disappointment, Angus. Hope you have a great Labor Day.
Thanks!
Angus what was the cost and how many coins did you send for restoration?
I found the invoice. I sent in 7 coins and they charged $37 per coin + shipping and handling. They did say grading and then +$10 for the restoration to get to $37. Are you thinking of sending some in for that servicev
Hey nice coins, the Morgan’s are awesome. If I don’t get the grade I think the coins are. I’ll send them in NGC or PCGS again. Sometimes I get lucky 😃
I’m a member of both and I just wish they would keep the customer update better with the process. Plus, I wish the turn around times were faster 😃 Don’t give up !!
Thanks for the comment! I’ve been bouncing around the idea of cracking a couple recent pcgs holders I got back and sending to NGC, but I hate the wait too lol. I just wish NGC had a better app. The PCGS app is very user friendly in my opinion. I have a couple more submissions coming back so fingers crossed the results are better!
I have other liberty here. But this Peace Dollar is only one.
Sir,I am begging you to respond me immediately. Because the person who sold this to me knows nothing about Liberty and other commemorative coins. So I need to find that person ASAP coz there is 4 left Liberty in him.Hope you're getting what I'm pointing out Sir.Kindly help me out plz.And get in touch with me via messenger.
I put my trust in you Sir.
If you are not buying that Peace Dollar would it be possible for you to find a Good Prospect/Buyer for my Liberty 1922.
Sir I really need your assistance. Your help plz.Kindly open your hand for me plz.Would that be possible Sir?
Well my friend first you can run a magnet over the coin in question and if it sticks then it’s a fake. You can also check the weight of the coin, Morgan’s should weigh 26.73 grams and for a Peace dollar the weight is the same. But you can also take it to a coin shop or dealer if in doubt. Hope that helps my friend 😊
To show the coin on the reverse you should show it right side up so that we all can see it better
Thanks for the comment! Do you mean like the eagle sitting right side up vs being upside down?
@@anguscollectibles7023 Well when showing a coin or slab coin, you should show it both side right side up so that we don't have to tilt our head to see the coin in all the detail. You know what I mean ? So like you first show your slab from the reverse, But it is upside down, then you flip the coin and review the obverse the grade right side up. I just like to see the coin both side right side up you know what I mean ? Sorry too much info's can get all mess up. Just a thought.
Pcgs is singlehandedly killing the hobby they're supposed to be trying to preserve. You get more consistency from meteorologists, and those fuckers are never right. Screw the grading services and get back to selling coins to collectors, like it used to be
i got some green key dates.. do you recomend sending em all together in one shot? or maybe a price minimum for sending?
Based on my experience with this order, maybe start with a few and see how they come back? Are you considering restoration services? Or just a standard submission?
thats a super minor scratch imo. wow.
Right!? I mean, I see it, but I have other slabbed coins that seem to have a similar scratch or worse. Not my day I guess 🤷🏻♂️
RIP off, what they call restoration we call cleaning, if they clean your coin for a fee its alright but if you clean your own coin the coin ends up in a body bag. It's a scam of the coin grading companies to make their pet clients happy.
Yea I hear ya - like I said probably a one and done for me and a lesson learned. Thanks for checking the vid out!
they literally just got you to pay extra to get a straight grade,, lol
Yea that was a disappointment.. Just need to be more selective and sure about Varieties for future orders I guess!
