The whole 'Cleaned' and 'Polished' thing is ridiculous. I mean, who would not prefer something clean? And if they have to dock it points, take the grade like MS64 and drop it down one notch to MS63 if it is cleaned or polished. The non graded slabs are not going to sell even though they are great looking coins. I would crack all those open and start over.
I can sell those for $60 all day long on ebay. Okay Stew Pidd. It was CLEANED WHEN I BOUGHT IT, that is why is cost me only $25. I polished it then I paid $25 to have PCGS put it in a capsule for me. On that Capsule PCGS tells you it is REAL, and it is VF. Now for me I think the Coin is worth more money because of how beautiful it is. And that is why it was worth it for me to pay $50 for the coin and the grading, total cost including shipping, delivered to my mail box. On my Limited income I can not afford A Mint State Morgan Silver Dollar Collection. But I have been able to afford over 100 Non-Gradable Morgan Silver Dollars and as you can see in the video, one of them turned out to be a MS61. Now 3 years from now I start drawing my full retirement, will I buy Mint State Coins then ? NO I will Not, I will buy 1/4oz Gold Rounds, and Non-Gradable Morgan Silver Dollars, preferably Polished.
