- Welcome Travelers. I am free2Player and I'm your Guide for the newest Gacha Entry from Square Enix : Octopath Traveler Champions of the Continent. I do Walkthroughs to show you what the Gameplay of CotC is like and to help especially free2play gamers out there to master this game the most efficient way!
In todays video I'll show you every single 4* Unit which didn't get released in the global version yet. Their skills, their passives and my opinion to everyone of them. In the end I'll give you my opinion why I think they did not release - and will not.

I knew we were missing Lolo, but I did not realize that we were missing another 4 star hunter! I have been using TWO 3 star hunters in my tower team just so I can run a full squad! Luckily I finally beat Yunnie today, so I can add her to my tower team next week. Narr also seems like he would be nice for new players to have/use against Tikilen, in case they can't pull H'aanit.
And we are missing 4 dark units as well? One of which is an AOE dark AND an AOE dark defense down unit? Sounds like they could be useful against Glossom. You know, in case you don't have Primrose. (I'm sensing a pattern here...)
I thought they might release the missing 4 stars when they released the job towers, as that would have been the perfect time for it. But they didn't. Maybe they are waiting for the 1 year anniversary? Or maybe after all the job towers are released, although that would be a real kick in the teeth. "Here, have all these F2P units after struggling for several months in the towers! Hahaha!" Or maybe they are just never going to release them, which I think would be quite sad.

I think they make some of those 4stars 5* and buff them a bit to make up for it.

Paula is easily viable all game for the SP regen. Jorn being fiore light is also amazing.

I get why they didn't want to release them in GL. It's as you say...some of them are so good that they overshadow 5 stars and kinda diminishes the incentive to pull on banners. That said, we now have Cerna available from elite fragment which i believe we can only get from daily treasures. So my guess is that they're gonna add a new one in there every few patches and it's gonna take forever to get all of them.
that's sounds about right.. sadly. but well it's like with the new triangle units. sales were bad for JP on this Collab so they provided enormous buff - boom people buy again. there are very wealth driven people behind sqex ;D
Who knows why exactly global hasn't received these units yet. It could even be something like they're planning to rework and introduce them as new five star units later on down the line, or they've just been delayed to release other units the dev team felt were more worthwhile for now.
Regardless, it's still a bit of a bummer that they've not been localized yet despite being in several cutscenes now. 😅
The cut scene dilemma is exactly why this is so weird in the first place :3 I'll share your opinion. Let's hope we see them sometime. As a 5 star, or 6 star I don't care anymore but release them someday :D
Which is even weirder. So they are global since whenever and they are all very good. No idea why they haven't been released. Even for just passive and being breakers. They all are very good free units
If those units release from the start Global ver released , Then we can destroy any boss without rely on 5★ units.
True. That's why we don't get them.

But it's random target ;D I heard of Molu, who can also use ST tome 3 times. So there is already another unit with that skill ;)
When will they make sea server??

Is octapath traveler cotc English version is better or Japanese version is better??
I can't tell you. Im only playing the English version because I can't read Japanese :3 what are the others saying here?
I have checked the japnese version is higher 2.16
And English version is 1.10

Japanese version has more content,in the long run EN version is better as we have buffed units and races which boost our income,those 2 doesn’t exist in jp so ❤

So true. But then sqex can say, we did release them, so don't blame us! :) Haha well at least we can do something with them, and new players will have lots of good times with them.
@@free2PlayerCotC Indeed but even so, that's a shame. They will certainly be released before the board game, so that we can purchase their A4 accesories. Some of them are juste crazy good, like sigrid's !
