I live 3 miles away from this and it’s still in the same state. It was sold in 2011 for £260,000 with a lease on it until 2019. It is currently still up for auction with a guide price of £1,200,000! There did used to be problems with travellers moving into the car park, however there are now concrete bollards at the gate to stop entry.
Such a shame about the state of the place how ever we was glad to do it... We did see the bollards and happy they have done it 😊

We had a hotel similar to this in my side of town. I got caught there, I imagine this is what it would have looked like on the inside. Thanks for taking us through

Drive by almost every day as work in this town. Now destined for demolition ànd about 600 houses on site....
Would be nice for them to finally do something with this site, like you say its likely destined for development. Shame its closed really as it looked like it would have been quite a nice place once..

Bloody shame it's been closed down and vandalised and left to rot , everywhere the nu age travellers go or set up it always seems to be demolished stripped of any valuable metal and left in a state of disrepair ,

That has well and truly been TRASHED! I went about a year ago and it wasn't too bad, awful now. A couple of months after I went my mate went and electric was on inside!!
We think it's now been knocked down such a shame what people do to places 😔

Always found abandoned hotels/motels really creepy, probably because I watched Psycho through a crack in the sitting room door aged 10 or so! As always great post chaps.

Looks like there in UK you have the same problem as here in Estonia - (abandoned buildings get vandalized and of course metal is stolen.)

Interesting explore.Its always such a shame when ppl get in and try to set fires etc.Doesnt really look all that old maybe from the 80s or even later.
Yer we did think that our selfs... We try and respect and treat the places well... We only go in to document... But setting fires is disrespectful.... Thank you for your comments 😊

We don't usually give the exact location of our explores away unfortunately due to there being a few mindless vandals around who take advantage of it but in this particular video if u watch it carefully I believe we accidentally slipped in a big clue.. 😉 We've not had the chance to go to Sculthorpe yet but been to a few other local ww2 airbases 👍 Thanks for watching 😊
