    Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman is almost natural.I will present pictures from her past and present that show what procedures she may have undergone. This is the second installment in my “Almost Natural” series of shorter videos that showcase celebrities who have only had minor, or subtle work done, that slip under the radar of the masses when it comes to plastic surgeries and cosmetic procedures.
    Zendaya is naturally beautiful with her deep set eyes, beautiful smile, and a petite heart shaped face. Let's look at Zendaya’s past, and compare over time to see what she may have done to her looks. We can see a first change was made to her eyes, then a change to her nose, which was very subtle, and then we move on to her cheeks which had a noticeable difference as shown in the video. Alongside the facial changes, I also highlight body changes and what caused them.
    She started her career in Disney productions and kidzbop. As she gew, so did her roles, from a bruno mars music video to spots in movies such as the award winning greatest showman and now the US box office record breaking Spiderman: No way home, and recently the controversial new show, Euphoria. She is currently dating fellow actor Tom Holland, whom she has worked with for the last 3 Spiderman films. Zendaya is also extremely popular in social media, with over 127m followers on instagram alone, making her one of the most followed people on the platform. Zendaya is also worth tens of millions of dollars at age 25, very impressive for her age and with such a long career ahead.
    Zendaya is starring in Euphoria on HBO which is a hit television series about young adults during a time of social media
    One of the first cosmetic procedures Zendaya had was Invisalign braces; Invisalign braces are clear teeth Aligners. Invisalign braces work well but have to be worn very consistently.
    Please know that although I have a very informed opinion based on my own experience I am not an EXPERT or a Doctor. Please visit a plastic surgeon for medical advice.
    Special Thanks to Miss J from Miss J's forum; much of my knowledge was garnered from her.

    Anyone who mentions that Zendaya may have had surgery tends to be attacked, but it’s something I’ve noticed with her too! She’s so beautiful and any work she may have had done has been done super well, with appreciation to her natural features. It’s nice to see someone who’s enhancing their natural look, without trying to force the IG and ‘Kardashian’ look that’s super popular.

      @ldallas8315 Před 2 lety +191

      @pree You say that like the prospect of her getting plastic surgery is an accusation she needs to be defended from... it is the norm for celebrities to get plastic surgery. They face an insane amount of pressure to be extremely beautiful to the public. It doesn't mean they did something wrong, it just is what it is.
      Also, aging will not slim down someone's nose shape. For humans, our noses and ears will actually appear larger and less slim as we age due to how our cartilage changes over time. That kind of change cannot realistically be attributed to aging, unlike things such as losing facial baby fat which aging can absolutely do (although it varies from person to person).

      @@torixa371 It’s definitely not healthy. But I’ve seen so much of the younger generation, especially those on TikTok, damaging their self-esteem by comparing themselves to others. We shouldn’t do it, but everyone does. It’s almost seemingly a natural thing to do. Personally I don’t use social media that much aside from CZcams, so I don’t feel too bad about myself… but I know a lot of young people have terrible self-esteem issues. It’s really unfortunate. It’s so widespread. It’s the price we pay for the rise of social media and the ability to connect with others globally. It seemed inevitable. Now that we live in such a society and have progressed so far in terms of technology, instead of survival issues, as a civilization, we have mental issues.
      So it’s true. Even if we advise to not compare to others, people do it anyway. Because of this, and because of social media, more than ever, young people are seeking validation from those around them. From the world. It’s crazy. And the beauty standards perpetrated by the media don’t help.
      Thankfully we have channels like Lorry’s that assist in this struggle, and lift the veil of secrecy surrounding cosmetic procedures. In many ways, this helps young people love themselves more, because they can then realize that they don’t have to look like the beauty standard to be beautiful. She respectfully states disclaimers, shares her opinion, and even consults with plastic surgeons in some videos I’ve seen. Therefore it helps make her opinion seem more well-informed since she has the confirmation from a doctor.
      As a biochemist myself I commend her for her research. Research is tough, and we’re bound to be wrong at some point. That’s why I appreciate her consultation with doctors who know the field through their direct work. Research can be even tougher when it involves people, as feelings are then involved. But I’m glad she makes an effort to stay objective nonetheless. She’s helping this epidemic of self-esteem while appreciating the beauty of others.

    I have experienced similar if not more dramatic changes as Zendaya has throughout my 20s, all due to volume loss. I use to have more of a "hooded" eye but as the fat has depleted around this region a more pronounced double lid is present. The biggest change, however, is in my buccal fat which is why I believe Zendaya's volume loss is just due to normal aging. I too had a rounder cheek profile with underlying high cheekbones. In my early 20s that changed drastically giving me a sharper and more severe contour. Also, there has been no weight loss if anything I gained 10 pounds. Lorry doesn't describe plastic surgery as something negative and its honestly helpful. As a fan of Zendaya, I don't mind her doing plastic surgery.
    EDIT: To all those people mocking me, you need to remember that I'm showing my support to Z for doing whatever she likes. Female public figures have been slammed for trivial things such as a hair cut (Katy in her Witness era), hair colour (Gaga and Billie), plastic surgery (there are literally tons of examples of this but Cardi B and Ariana for example) or even weight loss (Adele). People don't associate a person with just their talent but looks too. So when they find its altered (naturally or artificially; which is none of our business) they often discredit their entire persona (multiple Adele fans were upset due to her weight loss and claimed it made them enjoy her music less (wtf?) So no, I'm not being arrogant or entitled in any manner hence please reconsider all the mean things you're commenting. I love Z however she comes and she's talented and beautiful. Like everyone else here is saying, I noticed the same changes on my face too when I got in my 20s. Especially at like 23/24 it seemed like overnight my cheekbones became way more pronounced.
      I think lots of celebs are getting the buccal fat removal for sure, but the same look can still happen naturally even if it’s less common. I feel like Zendaya just has high cheekbones that extend to the apples of her face, and that created the more elegant sculpted look as she lost her baby fat. Also the change is farrr too gradual for me to be convinced it’s surgical, and both her parents faces “sink in” around the same area.

    I've never been fat, yet in high school I had baby fat in my face and as I reached my 20s it went away naturally. I now have a more slim and sculpted face. I wonder if this could be the case with Zendaya. Idk the buccal fat removal in this case is so so subtle I think it may have happened naturally. Love your videos tho Lory

    • @tunzlunz
      @tunzlunz Před 2 lety +61

      Yeah honestly Lorry’s observations are on point but for this one I felt the changes are so minuscule that they can be attributed to aging. Your twenties are when you really grow into you looks and it’s possible Zendaya lost some fat in her face and grew into her nose.

      I was gonna comment something similar. Zendaya and I are the same age and back in 2014 I also had a full, more round face. Now however, I have much more definition in my face simply because of aging. I personally don't think she had buccal fat removal done.

      I agree with this as well, time will tell I guess… but it’s such a slight difference I feel like it’s just natural aging and potentially weight loss. She’s always been very thin so even just a few lbs can make a visual difference. I personally didn’t see much difference in the “before” and “afters”.
      That said, she may just have an amazing surgeon. We’ll never know for sure unless she tells us.

    You didn't have to take the Doja Cat video down. Her response was downright aggressive and rude. Furthermore, she completely failed to show the beginning where you give your disclaimers, INCLUDING that these are JUST YOUR OPINIONS, NOT TO BE TAKEN AS FACT, AND NOT TO BE USED TO HATE ON ANYONE. Also, she left the part out where you showed her a tremendous outpouring of fan love. I don't even know her music. So Doja REALLY should've taken that into consideration, as well. You were a fan. If I were you, I would release the video and change my fan status. As for me? Based on her attitude, I'll remain a non-fan. The hatred woven into her "defense" clearly shows she HAS gone under the knife. That nose didn't work on itself. Keep up the GREAT WORK, Lorry. And bless you for having far more patience and compassion than I could ever have! She was so rude that for that reason alone, you should still leave that video up. After all, you are missing on a ton of views, money, and guaranteed new subs! Plus, RESPECT for sticking by what you've said. If none of it was said out of malice, (and only you yourself know this), that what's the problem in leaving it up? Your disclaimers clear you, and I think taking it down makes you look shady. A lot of souls in this world are programmed by society, by social media to think a certain way. You can clearly see with the way a lot of Dojas fans are coming at you. If one just takes a seat and doesn’t claim a side, it would be easy to see what really goes on in this world. We know you state it’s an opinion. We know you want to brake plastic surgery stigma. We know you are kind, have good intentions. We know you work hard and have keen detail. The way one responds to a situation shows a lot about that person. The way she had responded towards you said EVERYTHING it is we needed to know. You had helped myself, our younger siblings, and many other people out there in this world realize we are perfect just the way we are and that outermost perfection does not exist. Celebrities need to start being honest about their surgeries, or not say anything at all. As it is actually really gross and weird that they want to attract younger generations for their own best interest but don’t care about the little girls or boys interests. I hope you put the video back up, and sit back and DO YOU. Allow yourself to attract people who are on your side. We are here. Let Us Be Seen. No matter how long it takes. Thank You. But specifically with the buccal fat, while it is believable she could have had a reduction, we are comparing an image of her from when she was 24, at the critic's choice awards, to when she was 18 at the American music awards. Many people lose fullness in their cheeks between their teens and early 20s. That being said it is possible that she had the buccal fat removed, but idk if it's the most likely conclusion.

You handle the analysis on celebrities respectfully and with consideration that it is your speculation based upon dilligent research. Thanks for standing out amongst the noise of the innawebs. I enjoy your content.

    Lorry I agree with your assessment, it's crazy that plastic surgery is so subtle nowadays. I see these procedures more like "edits" :)

      "refinements" as plastic surgeons call them. A good marketing term ;)

      That’s really how it’s supposed to be. It almost always looks better to tweek something vs doing a whole overhaul.

    Thank you so much for your content Lorry!! For us that have logic and reason we understand that your videos are all completely speculative as you are sure to state in EVERY video! You have helped me to see that beauty is really attainable as long as you have money lol and I don’t feel as bad about certain insecurities that i have anymore. But if I ever do want to get work done I feel informed about what options are out there. Celebrities don’t want the veil to be lifted otherwise they won’t be placed on the pedestal that comes with fame. But they are just regular people with ✨flaws✨and that’s okay😌
