I think the whole moment with Chat Noir having a chance to take the rings is supposed to be a comedic moment that didn't really land. Chat Noir could of took the rings, and Monarch could of just used second chance the moment he felt his hand getting grabbed. Overall it wasn't the best written part, but I don't think it ruins the episode for me, as for everything else I found really enjoyable.
The episode clearly shows us that Gabriel has less and less time. Therefore, he is trying in every possible way to get Miraculous. In other episodes, we will be told more about this. By the way, 517 was also released in English, so you can watch it when your turn comes. Thanks for the response, looking forward to it :)
In Adrien's defense, Gabriel seems to need to interact with the "little bubbles?" where he keeps the kwamis in order to use the rings
IMO both the protagonists and monarch had equal plot armour in this episode. Equal opportunity for them to both win and lose. I promise the last couple of episodes in this season are gonna be insane, even tho there are still cracks in the logic of the plot, but I do feel that this episode is just a bit frustrating with how dumb everyone is here. Also, I do find it funny how Gabriel just gives up in this ep whilst ladybug & chat noir are completely unaware
When it gets towards of the season there are a couple of storylines that get a bit rushed but it’s honestly way better than the slow dragging pace of the last few seasons.

Episodes 16,17 and 18 are out in english dub already. The rest of the english dub episodes will be out in nearly three months, last week of September. Remember that another channel may air them sooner.
Last minute news time: Disney USA announced the airing schedule for the english dub of episodes 19,20 and 21.
They are set to air on July Saturdays; 15,22,29 respectively.

Actually if cat Noir took the rings, only the shield would disappear then he could go back to earth or help ladybug but he couldn’t use the miraculous because Monarch has to touch the ring to the kwamis cell to get the power.
All Monarch needed to do to be succeeded was to immobilize Claudie or use Voyage to get her out of the space ship before akumatize ADA. But he was so fixed in making his plan work that he kept commiting the same steps over and over again until he couldn't sustain the Second Chance any longer.
So there is a limit to use the second chance even as an adult?
@@emircanozad914 It's because of Cat Noir's Cataclysm from episode 3. When he uses Second Chance, everything is reset except for him. So he keeps decreasing the amount of time he has before he dies. He physically couldn't keep up with the Second Chances.

2. the staff that tracks the miracle box, unless if he only took the miraculouses and left the box. then idk tbh but the 1st solution is perfectt
Bruh when cat noir could have taken all the miraculous back and Instead decides to do a second chance I was screaming "are u dumb" because I was so frustrated they could of won 😤
The miraculous Monarch's rings are useless in other hands because kwamis are in magic cages. They can't leave them and miraculous without them don't work. So Cat Noir couldn't leave a shelter. And he can't transform back in space. That's why he didn't take the rings.

Didn't take them because in that moment both has already used their power and they were going to turn back stuck in space without oxygen, they were in danger of dying and Ladybug was already to lose his miraculous, Chat Noir had to do something immediately so they wouldn’t both die in space without oxygen.I personally died in this scene, I couldn’t wait for it to end. Sorry but I'm Italian and I had to use the translator, I hope the writing is correct😅.
Thank you for commenting. Actually even when AstroCat couldn't make it Ladybug figured out a way to win already if you remember by the pilot escaping.

I agree with you Gabriel definitely is insane he's always trying to put kids or adults lives in danger including his own son. Also Cat noir should have taken all the miraculous away from Monarch or maybe Ladybug should have taken them away. But I like the episode and I was wondering how did Kagami's mom knew that Gabriel was Monarch. What wish does she want to make maybe a wish to make Kagami and Adrien be together ? Is Kagami's mom the new Mauyra.
Tomoe knew Gabriel is Monarch all along. They set an alliance after all(get it?).

I don't understand one thing. How could Cat Noir use the Second Chance when the ring was on Monarch? Or Gabriel created these rings in such a way that anyone else could click on them and use them? Then he is a fool in that case.
And why did he initially pull his hand instead of using Venom, risking losing the rings?

This episode I dont even hate it. In my opinion. It's just really boring. Like good lord. This was the first time I almost fell asleep when watching a Miraculous episode. Not your reaction to be exact. The actual episode when I watched it two weeks ago. And unfortunately this episode is another case of making Cat Noir look like an idiot. Show writers really are morons.

I will try to explain the situation. it makes no sense for cat noir to take rings from the monarch, because:
1) if he takes the rings without touching Sass's ring, the Monarch will just use a second chance and that's it
2) If Cat Noir takes Sass's ring as well, then what's the point? he will not be able to use the miraculous, because the Kwami are locked in a magic cage, and the situation is completely hopeless. if he had taken the rings, the cat noir would have stayed in the green cage, and the robot would have taken the earrings from Lady Bug
What do you mean he wouldn't be able to use it? The kwamis technically get out of their cage after entering the ring. Does the cage have to be destroyed to use them or something?
@@emircanozad914 yes, you are right, the cage must be destroyed to use the miraculous. The rings into which Gabriel melted miraculous have no power until Gabriel calls a cage with a certain quami to him and touches the ring with the surface of the cell with the phrase "your power is mine now." then the ring is already endowed with the power of kwami. Even if the Cat Noir removed the ring, he removed either the ring without the force, or after he removed the ring with the force, the kwami would move back into the cage, and the ring would lose the power of the kwami. I hope I explained it clearly 😊 [ not aggressive ]

Thank you for commenting. I can counter your reasons for each one.
1. Monarch's arm was caught and is now stuck by AstroCat, so he couldn't use Second Chance unless he reached with his other hand to press second chance. Which wouldn't make sense because he can't see where he is reaching through the portal.
2. AstroCat should have taken the rings to further stop Monarch from using those powers. Even if the Kwamis are trapped in those Bubbles somehow, CosmoBug and AstroCat are one big leap forward to figuring out how Monarch uses his power. If for some reason the Kwamis can't or won't go with the rings once removed, it is still worth slowing Monarch down and figuring out a way to stop him.
3. Also remember, even when AstroCat was stung, Cosmobug used the pilot to help her win against Monarch. So with your logic Cosmobug would have still figured out a way to get out by using the pilot.
And again with repeating myself, when you take off a Miraculous it should deactivate the power. So if AstroCat would have taken off the Turtle Ring Miraculous it should deactivate the power of shelter. That's how transform and detransform work with powers.
The only thing that's gonna a save this is get better villains cuz Liela ain't doing sh!t AND akumatized Mari/ LB! 😂 plus I been dying to see her go NUTS
I'd love to see akumatized Mari put Chloe in her place and giving her PTSD as revenge.
But wasn't Gabriel literally unable to control the akuma when it was too far from him??
Looks like he was able to extend the reach to his akuma after he created the megakuma. It's the user that sets the limits themselves after all.

Ok. But I have to say, they are not miraculouses, they are the things that transport the essence of the powers. If cat noir take the rings , he will not be able to deactivate Gabe's power or use the powers himself.

so i think you actually missed the biggest part of the episode at the beginning when you were talking about a different scene lol.
so essentially, the snake miraculous user ages as they keep using second chance right? their mind and body lives through every timeline while the rest of the world restarts to a certain point.
therefore, gabriel’s body ages and the cataclysm on his body gets worse and worse while the rest of the world doesn’t age at all.
this has caused gabriel to die super quickly and he’s essentially caught up to nathalie’s wounds caused by the peacock miraculous, so they’ll both be gone soon!!!

Trust me episodes 16 and up are way better than this train wreck?! Also, I came up with a similar show idea when I was 5 and trust me when I say this I would have did this show justice sense unlike, Thomas I have been writing since I was 12/ or 13 coming. I even thought of the super heroes Ladybird (Ladybug) and the black cat (Chat Noir). I know I cannot prove my word sense I never thought to draw or write any of my ideas down at the time but I hope you can believe me when I say I write a LOT of scripts and short novel stories in my time and if this was my show the characters would be written to have way higher IQ levels. Especially, Adrian and Nino... however, I would turn Gabriel from being a simple minded and strict parent into a classic smart evil genius and chill, funny but still over protective father figure. Oh, and Emily would need to be given a proper backstory from the start by feeding the audience small flashback scenes from time to time.
Ps: Master Fu NEEDS futuristic powers... like maybe he could choose each miraculous holder by seeing into the future by brewing special potions into his magic pot from season 2 or maybe he could use the magic spell book or something? And above all else Mari and Adrian would SHARE the spotlight 50/50.
Plus, I would include the kids to set them up for future seasons like, foreshadowing Chris, Alya's twin sisters, Chloe's "younger" sister, and Mari's younger cousin... let's call him Jack to be the next team of heroes.

I really want to say in advance that there was no point to take the rings. Kwamis would return to cage and Gabriel could make new ring. Rings aren't Miraculous. Miraculous currently don't exist

@@HungaryHarmony20 Destruction and Jubilation episodes shown to us, that Miraculous were completly destroyed and don't exist anymore and that Kwami comes back to cage the moment the villain lose (Darker Owl). Monarch can't lose in this topic. But he's obviously dying due to Cataclysm, so that's his only weakness
@@FlawPink Um, I'm sorry that makes no sense. But I will re-watch those episodes to see if your theory is correct. Yet to my memory Gabriel is sharing the power through alliance for his akumatized victims. Not actually giving them the Miraculous rings. And no ring was destroyed accept for Plagg's which he sacrificed his own ring. No other rings were damaged.
