I had the exact same reaction to the ending here lol, I had completly forgotten about the rings. And before the episode I thought Gabriel was actually going to be a bit better... I will never trust him again. I really hope episodes will be airing more often again soon, can"t wait another 2 months. Very excited for the rest of the season.

The episode is called "Transmission", but the only appliances of the concept has to do to a better explanation how Monarch transmits the Miraculous powers and how Plagg and Tikki transmit their Miraculous to new holders. It doesn't have anything to do with the Butterfly Miraculous. At least "Destruction" included Cataclysm being used on Monarch directly.
Yeah, same with Reunion, Deflagration, and the few final episodes
@@etetgg1364 Well... Reunion did had some real reunions... and the concept of Deflagration is right on the catastrophe that Tikki and Plagg caused when they used their powers. For the final episode... the concepts actually do apply. But Transmission is basically the only one whose concept doesn't quite fit on the episode itself, being just to name the episode out of a concept of a kwami.
In Bible this episode was called "Handover - Kwamis's Choice part 1".
