In case your wondering why Cat Noir didnt take the rings, its because he knew that using the snake miraculous would subject a holder to an unbearable amount of failure if they used it for selfish reasons, he should know due to his experience back in "Desperada" when he tried to use it to impress Ladybug as Aspik, and as we know, Adrien had not been very happy with Monarch targeting his loved ones, specifically Nathalie. So when he realized that he had the chance to make Monarch suffer, he of course took that opportunity to make him use the second chance as much as possible.
Complicated, but It make sense
Monarch: Makes the foolish mistake to put his hand on his enemy risking loosing the miraculous of intuition and all the others.
Adrien: Reverses the time for him instead of taking all his rings off.

I think even if they took the rings, they wouldn't be able use them, as the Kwamis are still in Monarch's lair. It's like taking a Miraculous without the Kwami to use it
Gabriel will really try to do everything for the sake of his son, but in "his own manner." This series is interesting because the Monarch tried in every possible way to use the Second Chance, but it turned against him. And of course the episode will play a huge role in the finale. nah I'm sorry I defended Gabriel for the longest but with everything that has happened this season proves that he really is an absolute manipulative, gaslighting maniac. He doesn't really care for Adrien

IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING! lmao this episode had equal opportunity for both monarch to win and ladybug/chat noir to get back at least some of the miraculous but they didn’t because of ✨ plot armour ✨
Even if they took some back, they couldn't use them because the Kwamis are still with Monarch
@@MiyuKawasaki yeh but if the writers were smart enough they could’ve used the rings to make the connection that they were made by mrs tsurugi’s company, would’ve been very interesting seeing the protagonists discover that
To be fair to AstroCat, getting Monarch's rings would have accomplished nothing, as they don't have the kwami capsules that allow for power transfer (although they don't know it lol)
They would've been better off getting something off of Claire's as it would be way more fashionable lol
yep taking the ring doesnt help since they still trapped in the cage that they cant escape
True they wouldn't be able to use those miraculous, but it would've prevented Monarch from using them too making him weaker

If he took the turtle ring, the shelter would disappear, then he'd have about a few minutes to fly back, recharge Plagg and fly again to space (considering they're on a 5 min timer)
And if he managed to cataclysm BugFighter it would leave Ladybug with just a few minutes to capture the akuma and fly back safely, still leaving BugFighter destroyed and Claudie stranded and Adda unfixed since there was no lucky charm
Sure they could grab her but Bug would still have very few minutes to reach ground
I think it was the best solution lol
@@BillyMaier also Tsurugi would kick Gabriel in the face if she found out her very expensive ship and AI got destroyed in a fight where not only Gabriel lost the fight AND most of the miraculous, but he also stole her password to the ship's system lol
By the way, the decryption of Tsurugi's password is "New Miraculous Era".

and yeah we all are kinda torn however after everything that has happened this season so far, Gabriel can fuck off sorry. It's more than clear by now that he doesn't care about Adrien actually.. he's constantly gaslighting him, manipulating him and using him plus threatening his girfriend and trying the same messed up shit on Marinette. It's sad to say it like that but he's too far gone mentally imo to have a redemption as in „being a good father“. I like Gabriel as a character but my dude is a literal maniac
