I can only hope that the Kwamis' Choice two-parter special comes as soon as possible, because "Perfection", "Protection" and "Emotion" are already out (not in English unfortunately) and they are SO GOOD!! Especially "Emotion"... Trust me, "Elation" is just a sample of what's coming.
I'm just watching the English Dubs and Cat Noir now knows that Marinette likes Adrien so I wonder whats yet to come.

Honestly, I feel that of all Marinette's near-akumatizations, this felt like the most realistic situation to have pulled it off, with minimal changes
The only adjustment I would have seen as necessary is for Marinette to have removed her earrings, to cool off from Tikki as much as Alya... Akumatized villains have often showcased individualism, and have even outright refused Monarch's orders to focus on their own agendas, so I think it's feasible for Marinette to have been so laser-focused on personal freedom and unmasking Cat Noir that she wouldn't necessarily expose herself. I wouldn't even expect it to last that long, just enough for Cat Noir and/or Scarabella to have talked her down, into her rejecting the akuma... I have another thought on the matter too, but that would spoil something from Representation, so I won't say it here
In any case, that wouldn't be a perfect concept, and I'm fine with the episode as-is (in fact, I quite enjoyed it)

Kwamis choice part 1 (Transmission) and part 2 (Deflagration) and since other episodes are out of order like perfection(12), protection(16) and emotion(18) (even though they are not in English) hopefully we’ll get it soon since there had been small clips in French and trailers and images of kwamis choice even though there has been no date yet

Imo this episode was very much needed. It shows why marichat/ladrien(is that the ship name for adrien and ladybug?) just cant work and im glad theyre being realistic and mature with how they tackle this. While it broke a lot of fans hearts, I personally felt like you and like alya was at the start of the episode talking to marinette

5:10 you've got quite a point here, though, I really loved the episode. The atmosphere could really make me not feel like watching miraculous. The show and the characters have Really evolved since season 1, so did their relation. I'm hoping for more episodes like this.

Y'know, I can't believe I once thought this was a show for preschoolers when I first saw the title card on Netflix in 2018. Those MariChat flirting scenes in this episode...can I even call this a kids' show anymore, because god DAMN. This season really feels nothing like Seasons 1-4, like it's finally broken out of the same "akumatized villain of the week'/'Marinette clumsily tries and fails to tell Adrien she loves him' status quo format that kept going season after season. I thought the episode would never come where Adrien found out Marinette had a crush on him (that wouldn't be erased through time travel/Second Chance), much less finding it out through an offhanded comment from Andre of all people.

This is the one episode where I think I actually like the French dub more (usually I like them equally). Idk why but the English made the romantic scenes kinda uncomfortable ?
