For anyone wondering, they won the award for best paranormal podcast!!! Congrats guys, well deserved 🎉
I didn’t know that! Congratulations guys!!!!! Definitely well deserved🎉🤩
What awards ceremony was it?

Yay!! That is awesome thanks for sharing the news. Congrats guys 🎊👏🏼

Shad was a relative of mine. I was out of the state visiting some of my cousins when this happened & none of us could believe it when we heard the news from family back at home. Everything I heard was so horrible that it almost didn't feel real at first... I felt sick when national news finally picked up the story & confirmed that pretty much all the terrible things I'd heard were true.
I'm still appalled that it took such a long time to finally sentence Taylor (I guess I'd never really realized how long these kinds of investigations can take), but I'm relieved to hear that she won't be getting out of prison anytime soon.
Rest in peace, Shad. We all miss you a lot.
Sorry For Your Loss!🫂🖤
So sorry for your loss. Take comfort in that Shad now rests in the arms of angels.❤
Hope it not lying
Sending love & strength your way xo
My condolences to your family 🙏♥️
The way she’s so nonchalant about the fact that she just MURDERED, DISMEMBERED, & DECAPITATED another human being is revolting and she deserves to rot in prison.. drugs aren’t to blame here.. like WTF
Methamphetamines can for sure alter the brain and cause people to this crazy kind of stuff.
Forgiveness is one thing, but to say a monster like this deserves to one day be free is actually insane.. she is clearly a danger to society and thinking otherwise is delusional.
I agree with you 100%
This sick bit*ch does not deserve forgiveness nor does she deserve another chance in society. She deserve to suffer for the rest of her life in prison!
How people can believe that this creature will ever do good in society is beyond me🤷🏻♀️
Who said she should be forgiven?

“You’re not responsible for where you come from but you are responsible for where you’re going.” That’s a powerful statement. Life changes when you start taking responsibility for it. I won’t agree that the system doesn’t fail people. The system fails too many people everyday and the government is the system so, no.
My friend is bipolar and self medicated for 20 years before he was properly diagnosed and treated. He's an absolute sweetheart and wouldn't hurt anyone. I get sick of hearing mental health issues and drugs used as an excuse for people being evil twisted cnuts.
Nobody ever said that mental health or drug used caused this. They rightfully said that it likely added to her off behaviors. There is more than enough data to prove that.

Seeing her attack her own lawyer when sober would make anyone think, gee, what is she capable of when high & or drunk!
I watched the trial on TV and in my years I've never really seen anyone more evil. Laughing EVERY time her "mental sickness" was brought up. Even Dhamer showed remorse and apologized for what he did. I compare her more to Richard Ramirez.
I LOVED her uncle calling her Shitbusiness! It's soft core, but damn he nailed it.
I'm sick of hearing how defendants are ALWAYS now being cast as "mentally ill". It really spits on people who really suffer from illness and are not criminals or murderers. Can't attorneys just accept evil exists? Come on man!
They get paid not to care.
Agreed!
They need to accept that evil do exist. And so do evil people.
Having a mental illness does not make anyone evil, having a mental illness make people suffer but most people with a mental illness will never harm anyone!
While at least 95% of all evil people will harm others, that is what makes the evil thrive.

Dharmer wasnt actually sorry - he didnt have the ability to be. It was for the cameras and to get a lesser sentence. This chick was laughing coz this is hilarious to her
Drugs didn't make her do this, she's just an evil person period.
Evil isn't quantifiable. Mental illness and addiction are quantifiable. Meth and other drugs exacerbated trauma and mental illness and caused this crime.
@@AreYouSufferingXalong with the drugs from big pharma
Maybe drugs didn’t “make” her do this, but have you ever been around anyone on meth my dude? It sure af didn’t helo
Just like these other two people commenting I have to disagree with you. If you don't know anyone who's a meth user you have absolutely zero idea of what this stuff can do to you. It makes crack look a baby aspirin I could tell you stories you wouldn't believe ever would be possible. Worst drug ever known to man kind. You mix that with mental illness ANYTHINGS POSSIBLE
@@rocketta.chique5761but you have to have something deeply wrong with you to even do what this woman did. I have been around many people that were on meth. Addicted to meth… and not a one of them have murdered someone. I’ve had to cut ties with at least 2 friends because they completely changed as a person as a result of long term use but they did nothing close to what this chick did. Meth and fent along with alcoholism is very prevalent where I live, unfortunately.
I felt compelled to share that …. I was addicted to IV heroin and meth for years , and lived in addiction to other substances for most of my life and …. Ummm I have NEVER killed and dismembered anyone.
The drugs dull your ability to care about anything and definitely lessen your inhibitions… that being said I don’t know what it would take , or how much I would have to do to get to where this gal is at….
But I feel pretty confident that no amount of drugs would lead me to kill someone , and dismember them FOR PLEASURE. Ack.
She definitely has mental health issues - it seems like personality disorder to me (I am a therapist but I’m not her therapist so …) she is exhibiting antisocial personality traits which isn’t shocking for a person in addiction but it’s clear that her addiction is a byproduct of other mental health issues.
Yeah that’s what I would tell the judge. And anyone else for that matter. This is not a drug case. Drugs , especially meth, exacerbate schizophrenia if you have it already. Drugs didn’t do this. But these are the cases that get thrown into the normies zeitgeist whenever drug use gets brought up. “Don’t do drugs because you’ll end up like shitbusiness”
Judge, even though it’s kind of funny with her dad coming in there in a jumpsuit talking about a failing system. What the dad meant to say was that the mental system failed her, and many other people out there. She didn’t get the help she needed to stop her from doing this. It’s not that hard to understand. Even these hosts act like they don’t understand either.
But that’s not the judges fault. He did have one thing right. Resources are finite, and people love throwing things ther people in prison
Yeah I've got 10 years clean from heavy IV heroin and meth use. Back when I was in the thick of my use, using so much I was awake for 23-24 days straight at a time. Hehehe I'm at the part where they're talking about her using 10 times a day that's light use. So using a vast quantity more than shitbusiness I can honestly say that I've never wanted to dismember or decapitate anyone so her drug excuse is very poor. She's just a lunatic.
Congrats on your recovery by the way ❤️🩹❤️🩹
Getting high doesn't change someone's core self. Unless intense psychedelics can, but I wouldn't know. I doubt it. Psychosis didn't change my core values.
@@Manticorn I feel the only drugs that can would be the ones able to cause total dissociation. Then you literally would not be in your right mind and close to no control.
I think, “forgiving to heal yourself” is a toxic mindset. You don’t need to forgive anyone to move on with your life. You can if you want, but after going through something so horrific you should never be expected to forgive the perpetrator, religious or not. It gives the connotation that what they did was okay and that you’re choosing not to be a “better person” by not forgiving.
Yeah, well, luckily you have no right to tell people what to do and how to feel.
She needs to be in jail the rest of her life. Honestly can’t wrap my mind around how awful what she did is. Pretty shocked by what his dad said. He has a heart that I think few others do.
Yea the dads message was amazing, he's choosing not 2 let hate consume the rest of his life
Just wanted to say that Austin and Daniel have really added to the quality and growth of the content ❤

Yes, I definitely agree!
I don't think I could ever forgive someone for killing my child. I've wondered how parents of children murdered by their other children do it. His dad's impact statement is heartbreaking. To have that much forgiveness and optimism in someone who did something so awful 😢 I hope that man is blessed the rest of his days.
They knew her for half her life. They also knew their son. He knows it was the drugs that did this to both of them. However, this is sickening and actions like this should be met with equal consequences.
It’s called Christianity and trying to be a better person in your life . Hopefully you’ll open your heart to it in the future
@@stevenpina1983you’ve never had a loved one murdered have you 😂😂😂
And how did she cut through his spine to sever his head ?
@@kahlymerin4882but god says to forgive 😂 not to hate
The complete adjugation of responsibility as a parent, as a decent human being from her father…and her father having the gall to say “it’s the system’s fault” is such a slap in the face of the people who advocate for children who never had a chance and who deserve to have a stable and loving home. The system isn’t there to pick up the pieces of your failure as a father. It’s there to protect children and give them a second chance. I’m glad the judge also took note of that “father’s” statement and addressed it accordingly because I was also infuriated by it too.
Just an FYI about the father, he is divorced now for abuse of a child. From what I've found, the child is a relative of his now ex wife. Really makes me wonder about just how "stable" her childhood was. A mom who was a heavy drinker and that for a father...makes you wonder!
Judge preached sum truth & wisdom. Being on drugs doesn't force anyone 2 behave in a certain way, psychologically it just puts emphasis on states of mind/emotions that already present in the individual. She tryn to get noticed & get a slap on wrist 4 being a "mental I'll drug addicit " there's millions of those that don't chop up bodies
Yoooooo, I work with Shad’s cousin, this was such a sad day in our community. Happened less than five minutes down the road from me, the thought of a murderer being right down the street is so fuckinf terrifying but thankfully they got her almost immediately
I watched the news, and the trial, and I never saw her picture of herself and Dahmer. Weird!
Thank you for giving this a deeper dive. That's why you win awards. 👍🏼
Just stumbled across this podcast. Amazing! Loving it
I don't think this was the right sentence. I think the death sentence should be reserved for the most heinous and undeniably proven crimes. I think she qualifies for this
Wi doesn't have death penalty
It’s truly horrible that WI doesn’t have the death penalty, bc as a mom to two son’s, a grandmother to two grandsons and twins on the way one is a boy, I just don’t think I could’ve not done something stupid in that court room 😤 She’s truly evil and there’s a place for her…
I don’t believe in the death penalty whatsoever. I don’t anyone has the right to kill anyone no matter your position in government or power. It doesn’t matter. No one should have the power nor will to take a life. Life in prison with no parole is even an injustice to me honestly. I don’t think people should be in jail in their 80’s and dying. In her situation it literally makes me consider rethinking my views. I still stand on them but certain cases has me questioning my stance and she’s high in the list.
@@Swagilicious15
I agree about the death penalty because it’s not nullifying the event that now two lives are lost. That doesn’t end the cycle.
And who has got to be the killer for the criminal. How do that employee justify killing someone and how do people justify giving that order.
I don’t feel sorry for this woman at all and I do think prison for life is fair in certain cases. Just because they are older and look like a sweet old woman/man doesn’t mean they are. The justice system is tricky.
The lack of regret and laughing in court is beyond though, pure evil.
How long did she get? I can't believe she didn't get life
I was the last group removed from the jury box when they selected the final jury. They called 140 people in and out of the 30 people they asked more questions to, only one was dismissed right away. Seeing her in person, she appeared really small, shy and timid...nothing like she did when she attacked her previous attorney. Definitely a unique experience.
As a resident of Green Bay WI, I remember this all going down. I still can't wrap my head around how someone could do that to another human. Personally, I hope she rots behind bars, in solitary. Also, side note, I am extremely impressed with your pronunciation of Ashwaubenon. Most people can't get it right away.
same!
Suamico made me laugh though 😆
Go pack go!
The pronunciation of Suamico got me good. But my jaw did drop when he nailed Ashwaubenon really.
It’s so disturbing how she’s literally laughing why she’s being interrogated
Also when I see her Dad testify & the fact he is a inmate,I can't help but to think, gee, the Apple doesn't fall too far from the tree 😆!
I was stupid at 18/19 and used meth. I was extremely lucky and moved 6 hours away from everything i knew and i got clean. I used off and on for only 1 year and i was extremely lucky to have walked away and not touch it again. Its an awful battle that i wouldnt wish on anyone. Sending love to anyone who knows this fight!
Same I did it between 17 and 18 but luckily my dealer got busted and I realized I enjoy sleeping to much
Congratulations on the nomination. You deserve to be recognized…I work 18 hrs a day in media and love every second…keep up the amazing storytelling.
Man I watch a ton of true crime but this is one of those stories that’s hard to forget and it really gets under your skin. Truly disgusting and shocking. And why did her friend feel like saying “chopping it up” during his testimony? Wtf was he thinking?
I get the feeling that Shad's father who forgave Taylor was probably a meth head at some stage himself, and may have ended up in prison for his behaviours. Things that he would never have done had he not been caught up in addiction. That would explain why his response to the murder is so out of touch with reality.
I understand that his forgiveness was probably for himself, so that he didn't have to carry the weight of Taylor's actions and hold bitterness in his heart for the rest of his life as that can literally cause the death of people. However, the part where he wished her well, believed that she could change and spoke about hoping that Taylor would one day have the opportunity to re-enter society was extremely strange for a father who was talking directly to the person who had taken his son's life in such an awfully cruel way and then went on to S-abuse his corpse before chopping him into pieces and storing different parts of his body in buckets and containers where they could easily be found. It was as if she wanted the notoriety, just like her idol Dahmer.
What gets to me is that Taylor's habit was huge so she must have sobered up at stages and realised what she was doing. Yet that didn't stop her. The only thing she mentioned was that she got lazy and forgot some body parts and that really annoyed her. So it's definitely not just the influence of drugs to blame. She is twisted.
Maybe Shad's father has been changing his life around, so wants her to know that she can do it too. However I bet his crimes were nowhere near as evil, cruel or deranged as this insane predator.
Man, you explained that so well. Put it into words better than I could. I'm a recovering meth addict and I like to think people can change given the right therapy and classes but I CANNOT imagine saying that to the person that did all that to my son. I also never hurt anyone so I don't think drugs were the cause. I think the drugs were an aggravating factor to whatever mental disease she has.
Meth binges can really fuck your brain up, the psychological effects can persist even after the meth wears off. I had a step brother who was on it and he was extremely paranoid thinking government agencies were after him, constantly looking around and just talking non sense. He died from fentynal overdose a few years ago.
I appreciate how much attention to detail that you guys gave this story, as always. May Shad rest in peace. 😢
If finding your son's decapitated head in a bucket in your cellar doesn't strike you as qualifying for an emergency call to the police, what would ?
He was already dead, so the emergency was kind of over, plus the boyfriend wasn't sure if it was really Shad's head, and the mother was in shock. They called the authorities. That's enough tbh. They will send over who they think best, and they need to investigate first. Pretty positive they never imagined being in that situation and deserve our empathy, not our judgment.
Josh, you do realize that Dahmer was also from Wisconsin, right? Maybe she thought of him as a hometown hero??? As sick as that is
Wow, this was brutal. I totally forgot she had a son until you mentioned him at the end. Imagine how he will feel when he eventually finds out what his mother did.
there's a pretty high possibility he will turn out just as messed up as she is. Her father is in jail for sexual assault. The apple clearly doesn't fall far from the tree
@JacquiMcCarron21 True, but he's being raised by his great grandparents. It could go either way. I truly hope he turns out okay.
I had a friend who is addicted to m3th and it’s the saddest thing seeing someone you care about doing whatever it takes to get a high and shuts you out when you tell them it’s affecting them in a bad way
Thank you for sharing your experience. It is hard, I was addicted to many things but it’s IV meth and heroin that eventually took me on a swift descent to my rock bottom …. Homeless, alone, hopeless and crossing every line or boundary I set for myself.
Today I have 4 years 7 months and 6 days clean and life is more beautiful than I ever believed it could be.
It is possible for addicts to get clean, there is always hope as long as they are alive.

Legit question...how the heck did this demon dismember the victim with a small kitchen knife?
Determination, adrenaline...and drugs. My best guesses.
lots and lots of hacking and sawing. probably saved legs for last or had a knife sharpener.
lots of determination and time, too.
There was Multiple knives they found throughout all of the bags and bucket
She used several knives. They said there was a knife that had been serrated but wasn't any more because it was so dull. Also she was high on meth. That practically gives you super powers.
Seriously, i was wondering the same thing! Murderers have a hard time with hand saws and chain saws dismembering a body! What the f***!

He worked from home and ended up having to log off from work because they had no idea what was going on.

Indeed. Like he said...he was an alcoholic for 4 decades but still managed to never do anything like that.
@@Despondencymusicyou’re comparing apples to worm infested mangoes.
He’s not a person with possibly schizophrenia mixing with multiple drugs
Why wouldn’t they call 9-1-1?? I would be hysterical! I suppose in their state of shock that was the best decision.
Jeffrey Dahmer made the best hand shakes
Stop 😂 I feel bad laughing at this on this video
Yayy congratulations you guys for best paranormal podcast ❤
I watched this case on another podcast and it messed me up for days! I just came to support you guys but for my mental I dont know if I can handle it. I'm glad you guys are covering this case though. She is an absolute monster and I'm glad she's locked up!! I also believe she could have possibly murdered before Shad due to her lack of reaction to the crime.
I believe this wasn’t her first time also. She may have had other relationships with men that had a certain component of pain etc and she may have crossed the line in that way before.
100% she likely did it before, and she probably would've kept going too
16:23 welcome to wisconsin lol
I was in madison and saw a ankel bracelet outside of mcdonalds just chilling there cut off on a rock lol
I checked out your timestamp, I'm from WI but what do you mean? How is that representative of Wisconsin?
@babesmariba idk why it tagged at 16 maybe i hit it later then i thought. But my point being how many times she got out of jail and on bond. Vrs getting actually punished and this IMO happens alot in wisconsin. People out who prob should of never been let out or bonded
@@aftrlif ah. Got it.
Happy Friday the 13. This case is fitting for today lol
Crime Weekly just covered this 😫
They still are
So?
Wow, the rudeness
Lots are her verdict just came out
I live about a mile away from where this happened. It’s wiiild. Was wondering if y’all were gonna cover it!
The judge literally ate!!!! I totally agreed with every word. I resonated with the father of the victim because although she committed this horrible atrocity against his son, he knows he has to forgive so that he can move forward and let the “system” and whomever he answers to to do what needs to be done to handle her. I feel the uncle but to be focused in on her how or why would be tough to carry throughout the healing process: I agreed with both sides ultimately.
Incredibly bizarre event. I wonder about her childhood considering her father is incarcerated for rape of a minor. She did have everything working against her and yet other people have horrible lives and do not do the nasty sht she did. Her sentence is appropriate.
Terrific guys! All the people you surround yourselves with are salt of the earth!! 😘
It's crazy, my father work's as a lawyer helping young people in Green Bay. I live in Milwaukee and have never heard about this horrific crime.
How the mother was so calm, I'm assuming shock, is beside me😢
I just joined your group also.
Congratulations on being recognized.
