Long time viewer from Louisiana here! :) So glad ya'll enjoyed our home!! Watching the the kids say how spicy was so hilarious to me!! It's crazy how cultures differ! My baby brother has been loving crawfish, boudin, gumbo, anything spicy since he was a tiny baby. He's now 8 and still loves all of the spice! So glad to have ya pass through!

I live in South Louisiana,1hour south of New Orleans. Yalls experience with the potatoes and crawfish just made me feel good. To have the best experience you have to go to a crawfish boil with a family at their home.Every thing goes on the table with paper under,no dishes.
I used to live in LA and traveled that bridge every day… IT STILL FREAKS ME OUT TO THIS DAY WHEN I GO VISIT!!! Wish it was warmer so you could have enjoyed our MS beaches. Have fun and safe travels!!!!
I am from South East Louisiana and I had the biggest smile on my face 😀 watching this video!!. I have no idea where y'all got "crawfish " not crawd dads or whatever y'all called it. Some times those mom and pop stores have better tasting ones that the big chain restaurants do! Y'all should check out the NOLA zoo on your way back if you wanna see some alligators or go through Baton Rogue and do the Blue Bonnet Swamp tour to see them in the wild! Oh and the potato and corn which is always served with crawfish gets there seasoning because they are boiled with the crawfish in crawfish seasoned water. (We use a special seasoning to cook them) They always soak up a lot of seasoning.
I've been watching your videos for the last three or four years and the kids have grown quite a lot.

Bonnie! You, of all people, would appreciate my Mom's scared of heights & crossing bridges story. We used to do a family RV trip from our home (outside Toronto, Ontario) to Myrtle Beach, SC. One day, my Dad says to my Mom - let's go on a little drive to check out Charleston, SC. It's not that far and we can just make it a day trip. (It was the early 90s only had a little pop-up hard topped tent trailer.) We came to this bridge that we had to cross over and it looked kinda high but not that bad. Parts of it were under construction so there were parts where the only barrier between you and going over the edge was this thin, orange plastic fencing that we Canadians call snow fence. As we went up, and up, AND UP we're looking down at what looked like micromachines & realized that they were Tomcat airplanes on an AIRCRAFT CARRIER! They were on the passenger side so my Mom was almost into my Dad's lap in the driver's seat the whole way across. He just mentioned the bridge going back and my Mom burst into tears so we had to get out the AAA Triptik and figure out a different way home. Back then we had a Motorola Star Tac phone and no GPS so everything had to be done the "hard way." LOL Heather xo

I went to this truck stop restaurant in Tennessee and took a photo of a big rig that was sitting there thinking and relaxing. It was the "LANDSTAR" truck with a blue star on the side of the trailer.💙💙💙💙💙💙💙👍. Also, I played a song on my cassette player to see the trucks up close on the freeway on I-75 and it's called "Eastbound and Down". Wow, I love that song!💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙. So...yeah. You should play it because it's fun to sing it when you're on the freeway. And the eyes are so pretty while you're looking at the camera.💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙. I’m from louisiana. There is a place that you can see from the Baton Rouge bridge that blows clouds of smoke constantly. My husband tells kids that that’s where cloud are make and it makes me laugh every time.

Driving a long road trip I’m sure gas it difficulties but it looks like a lot of fun too! It’s always great seeing new places and talking to new people! Have a wonderful day in Florida! Don’t know where you are traveling to but it’s very warm here in South Florida. Yes it is extremely humid here. Hope you brought sunscreen. The sun is very strong here!

Great to see you having a great time on your adventure, a tip fir traveling in the RV - we always take a big flask of water to have for teeth brushing, washing hands, filling drink bottles etc. Makes Boon Docking easier.

Wow , y'all don't mess around already in Florida . Yes Bonnie I have your curly hair and I live in Louisiana the humidity is terrible on our curls it turns them to frizz .
Also the potato's were meant to be dipped in butter like corn on cob . That is served with crawfish all the time just boiled potatoes and corn , also you can make a cocktail sauce to dip your shrimp and crawfish into its really good . Y'all are gonna do the whole country in 30 days as fast as your moving . Great video , great trip , good for y'all !
I went to New Orleans in 2019 for a girls trip and I was amazed at how yummy the food was there. This makes me want to go back!! Loved this vlog 💜

Hay Bonnie, those plastic containers that your gum is in are some of the best containers for small things like bobby-pin or paper clips, but I keep my computer sticks in them. Just take out the gum packaging and it works great. Or you can refill it with gum to keep it fresh.

Ahh, the fun filled Mobile Bay tunnel…my daughters are 16 and 17 years old and it still, to this day, are terrified of going through! Welcome to the great state of Alabama, I live north of where y'all were, in the Birmingham area (where Cullen & Katie used to live). Y'all should’ve stayed in Louisiana and seen a whole lot more, and then taken Hwy 90 through Biloxi and gone to the beaches there. Then there would've been an awesome teaching moment for the kids to compare and contrast the beaches in Biloxi/Gulfport/Pass Christian to the ones in Ft. Myers/Sanibel/Captiva! Both beaches are on the Gulf Coast, but so, so very different. Also, New Orleans is actually kid friendly, especially during the day, but there are great places to go, even in the evening, that are great for kiddos, as well as so many age-appropriate lessons there on the impact of hurricanes like Katrina. There are homes you can still see the water lines on and the spray painted markings saying how many residents were found alive and rescued or had perished in the storm and subsequent levee breaks. I just took a trip to New Orleans, Biloxi, Mobile and Fairhope (none for the first, second or even third time), with my mom in November and had a blast.
Being a stay at home mom is tough we get overlooked and sometimes we feel unappreciated when all we do is try to be the best mom we can to our precious children

I live in Michigan and hiking and camping is in our blood! I’d you ever get the chance I highly suggest going to Torch Lake! It is a fresh water lake that looks like an ocean!
I loved this vlog! We live very close to the Louisiana border off I10. My daughter lives in Pensacola so we drive this often. I reconsized the Mobile tunnel on your parents Instagram stories before I watched this blog today so knew you were headed towards Florida. We use to live just below Orlando so that whole I10 route is familiar. Now I’m curious to see if you’re headed to stay at Disney’s Fort Wilderness campground or somewhere else. I’m not sure why I’m thinking Disney, except we were headed there in June to tent camp but sadly had to cancel. Wherever you’re going, it looks like a super fun trip.
