We talked with the kids schools and have all of their school work. We designate time each day for Joel to edit, kids to do school work, me to post to socials, create content for socials, joel and I to do emails, etc.

@@megana9908 what’s fun is their teachers knew where they were going and assigned work based on local animals, local spots, that kind of stuff. So the hands on learning really is fantastic.

We just did a huge rv trip this past summer! Make sure to stop at a Bucces store. They have them in TX. And a what a burger and Waffle House too! Those two places are all over the Southern States and Fl. Safe travels!! By the end of our trip I hated using rv tp haha!
I had to laugh when you talked about the different view when it was flat that is what it like where we live we love see your mutations I mean I don't like the cold so idk if we will ever get to see UT but would be fun someday

That month in Hawaii was magical! And just like that trip we are doing our school work as we travel, more is online now which is nice.

This is awesome!!! I can't wait to watch the rest of your road/RV trip!! ?? How did you get a 30 day approval from school for the kids? R they doing it online since they were home for covid and already quarantined so you thought about it then? Curious, would like to do something like this with our 16 year old daughter but my husband would have to arrange work since he works at the plant where he is employed. It would probably be difficult for her too but am curious about the possibility!

I always think of the moment in the Jeff Bridges True Grit when the girl asks where they are and Jeff responds “Texas” and it shows the land and it’s completely flat and that’s how they knew. It’s true, people don’t understand how far you can drive in Texas before you get to a hill :)

Sweetwater is always ugly. Lol. Those are mesquite trees. Ugly year round. I grew up in Abilene Tx and went to sweeteater a bunch for the yearly rattlesnake round-up and flea market. I now live in the Woodlands, which is way south of Waco and just north of Houston. It’s the most beautiful place🤗🌲🌿
