Several times we forgot the food on an RV trip... but Dad always kept 2 cans of Baked beans, 2 can of chili, 2 cans of corn, a box of cornbread mix and a can of pie filling... the stayed in the camper and it truly saved us more than once. Those handful of canned goods lasted us a week in the appalachian mountains

So I guess you'll have to make sure you've always got a box of cereal in the rv. Joel's whatever helps you sleep at night 🤣 I don't know I've ever heard him so sassy.

If you do leave food in there, make sure they are up high and airtight containers. That way mice don't eat through cabinets and get your food.

Hey Bonnie, When we built our house we put a tankless water heater in. You will never run out of hot water again! Even when using a few things at the same time. It's a little more money but soooo worth it! ❤️

We finally got ourselves a new mattress for our camper this season and happened to get it from Brooklyn Bedding. We went for a long weekend trip (Friday-Wednesday) this past weekend and my back has been killing me since we got home! That’s in my husbands home town (Caineville). There is hardly anything out there haha. I always pack lots of food and snacks, that would give my anxiety to not have food. We did go to the burger shack :). The stars and milky way are amazing at night. I don’t like the mosquitos! I got like 25 bites when we went in September. Beautiful place to visit!
We were just there 2 weeks ago; it rained and we saw a few trucks really stuck and sunk in the mud 😮.

I use my sloppy joe mixture for so many recipes. I just used 3 cans of Walmart's sloppy joe and 4 pounds of ground beef, simple, easy, and so good. I love it as my taco meat, I throw it on french fries with some queso, I use it with cheese as stuffing for bread dough to make cheeseburger rolls, and I even make a sloppy joe casserole with crescents and cheese. I always make a big pot too and freeze it.
