Just an idea, make a little shed at the top of the property for the bins to hide in. Something closed off so animals can't get in. Every time a trash bag is full, throw it in the back of Joel's truck and drive it up.

Bonnie let me give you a tip for the pinto beans! Put them in the crock pot on high with salt and garlic fill it up with water to the top because beans need a lot of water in order to cook right. Leave them over night in the morning when you wake up they’ll be 👍🏼 perfect!!! trust me I am Mexican and daily make pinto beans ❤

Holy cow - that’s a long way for the garbage cans. Our garbage pickup is included in our property taxes. Others have to pay separately for it. If I had your large property, I’d see about getting a dumpster. Or you guys could build rail system for the trash cans. The cans stay on the system, so no lifting when full. Push the button to send them up the hill to the end of the driveway. Push the button to send back down.

When i moved i had to do everything myself. I legit unloaded all the boxes and felt as if i lived in a warehouse for a week. But i got it done. Remember slow but steady wins the race. Cant wait to see when everything is done! So excited for you guys

For the future, build a wood shed that can house your garbage and recycling bins near the garbage pick-up location. Then you can drive your garbage by ATV to the end of your driveway.
A friend of mine has a driveway just like yours, and they did what I mentioned above. Game changer for them.
Oh my goodness! What a chore taking those garages up to the end of the driveway! Will that eventually be a kids chore?

I have a 14 year old daughter and asked her if she has any suggestions. She said jewelry, clothes, shoes, perfume/lotion, candles, cozy socks, books, and makeup/skin care items. Those are all good ideas, in my opinion! Of course she gives me all these suggestions when I ask her what she thinks other teens would like, but whenever I ask her what she wants for her birthday and Christmas she always says, "I don't know." Lol! 🤦♀️😅😊

You can easily fabricate a wheelie bin tow, to attatch to your towball. Its basically steel bent into two prongs that slip under the handles to sit on top of the bin, this then keeps the lid closed. The middle bit of the bent steel bar sits over the tow ball. I'm sure you will come up with something to make getting the buns out easier. 😊
Definitely soak the beans earlier in the day and then cook em later so they cook a little faster! I love beans!! 😂 I love the Hoelleins! ❤

You need a little trailer you can pull with the lawnmower or 4-wheelers and leave them in the trailer just pull them up and down the hill.

I’d find a way to keep the bins at the top of driveway and use golf cart or truck to load trash up there. Walking that every week would be annoying to do especially when it’s cold and/or snows

Bonnie! Cook the beans in a pressure cooker next time! They'll be so soft you could squish em with 2 fingers effortlessly. I add salt, 2 garlic cloves, a chunk of onion and a dash of black pepper. So GOOD
P.s. it takes about 50 minutes for 1lb bag of beans. Hope that helps!
Last p.s. lol. It takes more salt than you think for them to taste yum.

Ya need to fry up some chorizo and add that to the beans with some cheese. Keep a little bit of the liquid from beans to add later if they are too thick.
