I adored this travel vlog so, so much!!! Maine holds a very special place in my heart. My aunt and uncle live in York Harbor, Maine. I went to Oguinquit for my first time last summer with my mom and brother. Overall, Maine is just such a lovely, gorgeous place. There is truly something in the air that makes your soul feel so peaceful. I am so happy that you and Brandon had a beautiful, happy and magical trip with your family.

It is lovely to learn about new places in my own area like Beacon Hill Books - wow, I can’t wait to go! If I may mention, Worcester (9:40, where Acousitc Java is) is pronounced Wooster, like Worcestershire sauce. A lot of our towns follow that rule of the “ces” being just an S sound (and there is really no R in the middle of Worcester, that’s not just our Boston accent!) … Gloucester = Gloster, Leicester = Lester. Welcome to the weirdness of Massachusetts!

I highly recommend going to Newport RI if you ever come back. Much better than Little Compton in my New Englander opinion. Hi from Massachusetts!!

I loved your description of your time at the Louisa May Alcott house! I drove through Concord in June and recognized the teal door as we drove past the house. I made my family turn back around so we could see it. We didn’t take a tour of it though, so I’m glad to be able to hear some things about it!
Newport, RI is home of The Breakers and other mansions. We just visited and I came across a cozy mystery series that is set among the houses. “Murder at the Breakers” by Alyssa Maxwell is the first in the series.

If you get a chance in the Fall you need to visit Plymouth MA.
This vlog brought me to tears. I grew up here and this really made me miss home for the first time. You went to all of the places my dad brought us growing up. Kimball farm is seriously the best!
If you really love New England I think you'd also love Western Michigan and Mackinac Island in the summer. It's so similar (beaches, gardens and flowers, marinas and boats, cute coffee shops and cafes, lighthouses, rocky shorelines, boutiques, etc.) Same vibe.
I have always wanted to visit New England. I learned so much of what there is to do and to see from watching this travel vlog. Oh I was wondering if you ever visited Nathaniel Hawthorne's home that was supposed to be near the Orchard House. I read Hawthorne was friends with Louisa May's father and they lived near each other. Also the Salem house is on my list of places to see. I live in Florida as well but wow how I would love to live in New England!!!

I'm actually here in Leavenworth, Wa. - a busy Bovarian inspired town with such gorgeous scenery, so green, great food, etc. celebrating our honeymoon weekend like we did 15th years ago. Feels so great to travel & get away from the hustle & bustle of life ☺️

What a fun trip! I used to live in Groton, MA, which neighbors Littleton, and I frequented Kimball Farm. Their ice cream will always be my favorite! So fun to see you get to experience beautiful New England!
