I just looked up what’s happened and learned about the floods and landslides in BC. I’m from Germany and we also had a major flooding in July. It’s really awful, BC seems to really suffer this year with the heat wave and now the floods. I wish you guys all the best and hope you’ll be fine!
Perhaps you should carry GPS beacons that you can just stick into the ground with you so other crews can capture their landing spots in all weather conditions, especially useful if the situation is a medical evacuation?
"GPS beacons" I'm not sure what exactly you have in mind. There is not a universal technology like this in real life like there is in games. However aviators by necessity have to be good navigators and should have little issue finding them again. Its more about where they are allowed or wanted to land and just confirming that.
Do you have a Twitter I could DM you at to chat? I want some additional info so I can see how I can help. Appreciate you and everyone else for getting these vehicles out there. And to the chief, I know it's hard to ask for help for your people, but you're doing the right thing in asking for assistance when the people that rely on you are at risk of danger. Nobody can prepare for this kind of thing and being totally landlocked is just the icing on the cake. It can definitely be a hard choice to make and I completely understand why a go fund me is out of the question to ensure the people know any aid is going to the right places. This is a hard situation to be in, but there's people that want to help out. Bradley, if you can figure out some kind of action plan for how to get goods to you and your team or anyone else making these runs, it would be a good idea to pin it as a comment and put it in the description. Even if goods don't make it to them before the bridge is fixed, they can stockpile for the winter or hand it out to other locals outside of the community.
Bradley, great respect for helping you!! This is all awful!

Saw the aftermath of your flooding on Misha’s Nurburgring channel. Was great to see so many people come out to help others.
All the best to you all. Keep up the great work Brad, Bentley and crew.

Are you accepting donations to buy these supplies?
I’m not. But Shaun Heaps @west_coast_pilot on IG is organizing all this.
new heli?
Yes, he drove across America to pick up from Arizona!
Oops, I'm sorry, not from Arizona, but from Florida... 😬
