Yes! That would have been wonderful!
Ezra Miller is a tripple threat actor. B&E, assault, and cult leader.
Those ARE three 😳 threatening things
Quadruple threat. This movie.
But it claims to not be a man, so it can’t possibly be the bad guy.
@@zackyezek3760 yes zaddy, Ezra is the bad thing, not guy
What about Mel Gibson who's basically a confirmed anti-Semite?
Funny how every review of Hogwarts Legacy had to come with an eight paragraph disclaimer about how they didn't morally support the author in the project, yet they don't mention anything about Ezra Miller in their reviews of the Flash
Haha. The double standard is real. It's all about having the right political views.
Ezra doesn’t own “The Flash” brand, JK owns Harry Potter, I’d say that’s why. Also, video game journalism is a joke anyway, and the same people that review games aren’t the ones reviewing movies.
Or most likely they see nothing wrong with his actions because they are ethically defective
That's because they DO morally support abusing children. They're happy to destroy children. They want MORE children destroyed. They're telling you who they are. LISTEN.
@@ladiddas I have to respectfully disagree with your view. Ezra may not own "The Flash", but he is still getting paid to play as "The Flash". Now if we were talking about the television series "The Flash" then I would agree.

I’d like to know why Ezra Miller, a confirmed criminal still has his role as the Flash, when Jonathan Majors was dropped from EVERYTHING over allegations with no evidence, and stop saying it’s because the Flash was already filmed, because Johnny Depp was already finished filming fantastic beasts, and they still dropped him from the movie because of allegations with no evidence.
And Henry Cavill got the arse for being squeaky clean and popular
I know right he literally assaulted a woman on camera and they fired Gina for a tweet.
Simply because they're employed by different companies. And Majors hasn't been dropped by Disney yet, as far as I know.
He doesn’t 🤦🏻♂️ he isn’t going to be flash after this no way. The film was made years ago before all his bullshit. They pushed it and pushed it because of his crap. Hundreds of peoples jobs and credits and millions of dollars already spent were pushed for basically 2 years because of his shit. He hasn’t “been” the flash since the movie was made years ago. There is no contract. It’s not how movies are made. People need to understand that. He isn’t being let off the hook because “Hollywood” the movie is trying to save jobs and make money back since it was made already before Millars fucked behavior started.
@@whaguitars Gina got sacked because she equated being a conservative with being a victim of industrial genocıde. But you're right that Ezra is a whole order of magnitude worse; he's assaulted people and groomed an underage native American (WTF!?). Gina just had a dumb, ignorant opinion (like most actors).
The only reason people are gonna watch the movie is because of Michael Keaton being back as Batman.
He was my favorite Batman and I will not be watching it

The reviews are in and just like we said none of the "critics" are saying anything about the star being a child groomer or him getting drunk and beating on women, or even thr fact that he runs a cult, nope just "What a triumph for DC and WB!"
The critics are reviewing the movie not Ezra Millers fucked up personal life.
Which I find weird, as I've seen critics bring up things like that in reviews with other films or shows, even if it's false, like Johnny Depp.
He’s got the right pronouns and is n the “correct” side of the political isle…we all know this will inflate the critics score!

I mean, that's exactly what I expect from professional critics: talk about the mobile, not the backstage drama. Otherwise, you haver what we see sometimes: critics crucifying moves because their own agenda
Imagine everything Ezra has done and still respecting his pronouns in a review.
I still do, but that's because there's plenty of completely legitimate reasons to criticize them. I could imagine saying that they don't have the right to use those pronouns anymore after what they did is like saying a white dude no longer has the right to say that he's a white dude after committing a crime, or a black guy, or a transgender woman, and so on and so on and so on. It just becomes a tangled mess of what's to be respected and what isn't. Point is, I'm not gonna go after that when there's stuff that's way more valid to criticize.

The fact that Mr. Miller is not in jail is beyond belief.
The fact that Mr. Miller is employed and there are people actually watching (thereby, putting money in his pockets) leads me to believe society is doomed.

That's because that's not Supergirl, that's SuperJuan.

Probably not
If you're wondering why Jonathan Majors got thrown under the bus while Ezra Miller gets a pass, it's because Ezra is doing what everyone else in Hollywood is doing...
i mean, they let james gunn take over marvel
This is why everyone in Hollywood is a raging Leftist and have serious mental problems. They are surrounded by the most predatory and vile people in society. When you go through the casting couch, are assaulted and degraded on a routine basis, all while being exploited as a set of cans for people to ogle, then you get very jaded very fast and start to believe that this is how corporate America operates everywhere. It is not. Most women go to their jobs and just work. Nobody is sexually assaulting them at work. They are projecting their trauma onto the rest of society, which is not like Hollywood.
Jonathan Majors is masculine.
It's cause the film was already done and WB weren't throwing away a multi hundred million dollar film. Especially when doing so would tank other films that are upcoming. Been said multiple times on this channel but people like yourself choose to ignore it cause rage and indignation is easier.

I won't give a penny of my hard-earned money to a project involving child groomer Ezra Miller. It shows just how debaucherous and despicable Hollywood truly is allowing him to continue with this movie.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Majors is tossed to the curb right away and Johnny Depp had to FIGHT for his reputation in court, in public.
Lol but you’ll support a Mel Gibson flick no question. You people are so full of shit when it’s convenient to your narrative
Torrenting is real, i'll never give a cent to any company that even once tried to push wokeness. They can all go bankrupt in my lifetime.
I had a small argument over this in a comic shop. A guy I'm friendly with asked me what I thought of the trailer. I told him I'm not giving money to a movie starring a guy who assaulted women and probably groomed young girls. He said (in a friendly manner) "I'm not talking about any of that! I'm just saying the trailer looked great." The thing is, he has his 16 year old daughter behind him. I kept thinking "what if it was your daughter that he was grooming and probably raping?"
Exactly. I won't give either for that reason AND for Supergirl. Replacing Superman for a fem-agenda that's a double no.
The entire appeal/selling point is Michael Keaton as Batman. No one would care if it was just a regular Flash film.
That is a ridiculous assumption. No one?
The DCU sucks and is lame duck, Ezra Miller is a hot mess, and to most, The CW Flash is the official live action one. I said what I said and if you don’t like my opinion then disagree and move on.

@@railerswim No, you should try understanding what I am writing. I don't follow trends and am well educated. I also remember this movie. Ezra Miller isn't bigger than that experience. He isn't even a blip on the radar when it comes to how big that event was. Yes, people will go to feel that again...and feeling that will outshine anything Ezra Miller has done.

They should have saved "let's get nuts" for the squirrel girl movie
I'm actually convinced that the character and attitude of a superhero film actor plays a huge role in the perception of the movie's viewing pleasure.
As excited as I am to see Michael Keaton as Batman again, definitely agree that Jeffrey Dean Morgan should be Thomas Wayne Batman in this movie, with maybe a brief cameo by Michael Keaton. Otherwise, Michael Keaton Batman’s reasons for wanting to destroy his own timeline are much weaker. Huge miss by DC/WB.
The difference is Michael Keaton is a major star, and had been for over 40 years with big budget hits. His role as Batman is iconic, and the main draw to bring audience's in. With respect to Jeffrey Dean Morgan, he's not in the same league as Keaton for being well known or iconic. That is why Keaton is in the film and Morgan isnt. Im simply stating logical FACTS.
@@peterlenham3180 The fact is they butchered the script just for a cameo of Keaton as Batman for a quick buck in the short run instead of aging well in the long run.

@@mrmxyzptlk8906 Except this playbook has been done time and again with bringing back beloved characters just to increase the initial viewing numbers while sacrificing the story, or in order to save what story has already been destroyed. Or, even worse, to make the beloved character a most heinous character in order to make the newly created character(s) more likeable.
If the DCEU was done properly, the Flash Point story would have been a refreshing, two part movie.
The Critical Doggo has exactly the right attitude toward this movie.
I dont mind them changing things when it comes to adaptations, for example having Tony Stark create Ultron instead of Hank Pym, at least when it doesn't change the point of the story. The point of the story of Ultron was to show that AI is dangerous if left unchecked and the insecurities of its creator can be what ultimately causes it to go rogue. The point of Flashpoint is to show that one little change in the timeline can make heroes into villains and villains into heroes. It is meant to put it into perspective that Bruce had to be Batman, because he was the only one who could carry the code of no killing, and we see that is true when Thomas starts blowing bad guys away. We get to see Wonder Woman and Aquaman without the leadership of Batman and Superman and how they lose their way. This flashpoint just looks like "Oh yeah if Barry's mom doesnt die the only difference is Kara's not around to kill Zod and Bruce looks older."
The dog camera is great😅

The guy who did the TV show would have been fine. Otherwise, an actor who can run - jokes was more wally West, but the two flashes have been mixed up. Barry was more serious.
It pisses me off that we aren't getting a accurate version of Flashpoint. Especially since the Arrowverse also fucked it all up. I mean, how could fans not be on board with what could have been. Flash accidentally creates a world where Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Aquaman (Jason Mamoa) are at war after Wonder Woman kills Mera (Amber Herd gets killed, thats a big thumbs up for many DC fans i'm sure.) So Flash looks for Batman finding this worlds Batman is Thomas Wayne (Jefferey Dean Morgan, great casting for violent Batman.) He also gets help from Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Shazam (Zachary Levi.) We could have had a version of the resistance be made of other characters from the Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey so maybe Harley, Boomerang and Canary, perhaps even led by Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) just like in the comic. Henry Cavil could have reprised his Superman role. Deathstroke could have shown up again. Ocean Master and Black Manta could return to be on Aquaman's side in the war. I know that many fans disliked Snyder's films, disliked certain actors and disliked the general direction of the DCEU. But as a film that is not tied down by the events of previous films, which if it remained true to the comic already has a brilliant story and has all the pieces in place. HOW DID THEY FUCK THIS UP???

I’ll put it like this, The way the flash is set up is like if after Captain America Civil War, instead of Tom getting a solo movie, they did No Way Home, all the heart and buildup is gone where the studio had no faith in Tom holland on his own, so the studio relies on Tony stark and the other Spider-Men to carry a lackluster plot. This is why I can’t get behind people hyped for the Flash that also hate most of what the DCEU has put out in the last 7 years, y’all literally see a Batman action figure and lose your minds…
Member Berries dude. I got damn depressed when I heard my friends go wild over the Get Nuts callback. If it succeeds they'll make more
This might have worked if DC had released this film right after Ezra debuted in Whedon's Justice League. Marvel/Sony didn't wait to follow up Civil War with Spiderman's film. This Flash film languished in development Hell for something like seven years. That caused a complete loss of momentum, not that this version of the Flash had any to begin with. The studio's commissioned theatrical Justice League cut made sure of that.
Pretty sure they did Homecoming after Civil War.
The animated Flashpoint and the comic are epic! This film is just an excuse to erase the castings and the foundation that Snyder established, which Zack had set up to tell all of these epic stories if necessary for other directors. WB keeps trying to erase Snyder and it's messing up all other sectors of their execution. It's wild watcthing the lengths they've gone to, all while undoing themselves.

IT'S BEEN DONE A BUNCH OF TIMES
Two Barry Allens is a contradiction of their previous time travel which did NOT result in two Barry Allens. Likewise, they didn't want two Barry Allens to result from his time travel in comics because that would mean he could never really do it and would always be anchored in his own time and nothing could ever be changed.

The best superhero movie of the year? It's only fucking April.
this actually feels more human then what the professional critics wrote
"Can you define 'professional movie critic?'"
Person who is paid to, or is granted access to exclusive Hollywood content, to give glowing reviews to terrible Hollywood productions.
After seeing Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Bruce’s Dad, I instantly thought how cool it would be to see him as the alternate Batman in Flashpoint, even the new 52 version.
Sadly the wrong people were left in charge of the films.
They were after all going to do a Marvel and kill off all the main male characters.
Only thing I like about Snyder was his casting for most, and how Batman looked and how brutal a fighter.
Rest, too dark an Martha!!
AZ was spot on about beyond and Thomas Wayne
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is criminally underused, he's a fan favorite in pretty much everything he's in.
@@derrickbonsell absolutely spot on, love him in everything I have seen him in, even when he was a dick at the beginning of Supernatural 😄
@@daviewarnock718 he was a dick in the walking dead... and i loved it ahah
@@bradastra6111 haha aye but he was playing a proper dick in that!!
He was amazing as Negan, actually made twd bearable for a bit longer.
In Supernatural he was a dick at the beginning, but twd, he played a dick perfect 😄
The Martha twist could have worked better if Batman had 1 standalone movie before BvS. Instead it was just all in your face about Martha, especially after the first viewing, as they had a limited amount of time to slice it in. It just needed a better build up than seeing Thomas Wayne whisper "Martha" as he falls to his grave, twice, to make sure you remember.
I just watch your short form videos, first time seeing the critical doggo
Love the new addition to the discutions
I was a huge fan of the Snyderverse myself, and I was very upset to hear that they weren't going to let Snyder do his last film with Darkseid. I was also happy to hear that Michael Keaton would be dawning the cape again. However, I wanted Keaton to be Batman either in his own film, or in a Batman Beyond scenario where we can see him as a grizzled, old, bitter man teaching Terry to become the next Batman.
Instead, they shat on all those ideas, by literally destroying the Synderverse and dangling Michael Keaton as an olive branch to convince me to buy tickets to watch the destruction of the DC universe I already enjoyed on the big screen. I'm just not sure I can do it. I want to see Keaton back in the Batsuit, but not as a celebration of destroying what the Synderverse was building, because I can assure you what comes next is going to be utter trash.
Bring Tim Burton back and let him do his third film in his trilogy for crying out loud.
Literally my thoughts exactly, such a shame
It could be a great movie, even one of the best ever. And I want to see Keaton back as Batman. But there's no way I will be giving Warners or any other company a single cent to watch any movie that includes Ezra Miller.
I'm pretty confident that this movie... will be a flop!
It won't , but hey feel that way if you like.

F superhero movies, sick of the entire concept

@@sup3414 me to, everyone I speak to infact. How
" inventive storytelling" said about a movie that could basically be called "Batman: No Way Home" unironically
Keaton without Burton directing and Elfman scoring is pointless to me. It’s not the same Batman, who cares?
"It's the best superhero movie since Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania!"
We know who they won't mess with Ezra it's a political agenda currently also that need the money from this film.
They didn’t want to do Thomas Wayne Batman because they didn’t have the balls to show Batman shooting people
I'm so glad you and Mauler work on this together, but Mauler when are you coming back with your videos?
"You got a 70 year old Batman doing things he couldn't do in the 80s..."
Me: You mean like turn his head?
It's sad that thats kind of true
"This is a bastardization of Flashpoint!" Can you bastardize something that was utter trash in the first place? Flashpoint was just Geoff Johns stroking his own ego, as evidenced by the constant revisiting of the story in comics, television, animation and now this.
Re Supergirl- that's Sasha Calle, who hasn't done many roles outside of her stint on the soap opera Young and the Restless. So she has no vfx experience (and barely any full length film experience). Sure, she might manage a good performance anyway, but that kind of resume has not worked out well for other franchises lately, like Moses Ingram in Kenobi, or much of the RoP cast.
As long as it makes the soy fem-boys crying, it'll get good reviews
Drinker and co. thank you so much for existing and being able to string together meaning using your words. I miss this, it used to be so much more commonplace, sure not everyone was going to be Roeper - but the industry of "reviews" as a whole has become clinically braindead. This applies to reviews of all entertainment media products: film, video games, apps etc.
The point is now no longer to share an informed opinion with others prior to their ability to experience something, now it's a showroom of the greatest bullshit to try and convince you that you need to spend money on something that is utter shite.
Also: I don't support child predators, so on principle alone I will never see this film.
I definitely see Flashpoint being the main gist of where this story is going, and I think it's going to attempt to be like "phase 1." But I also see Billy Crudup in the cast, which leads me to the prediction that their "phase2" is going to be the Doomsday Clock storyline.
As much as I wouldn’t mind seeing Keaton in that role again, I won’t subject myself to watching Ezra Miller.
I haven't paid as much attention in the past, but from what I remember critics have always bagged on DC movies more than marvel. So the fact that they are positive about this makes me curious. I'll still wait for public opinion to come out before seeing it myself
Supergirl: "Are you that Zord guy?"
Zod: "I am General Zod, yes."
Supergirl: "Awesome, Imma deck you in the schnoz!"
Zod: "I'm-- Sorry, that's a new one... Who are you, exactly?"
Supergirl: "My name is Kara! I'm a Creep... From Earth!
Superman: "S-she means Kryptonian..."

“The logic of it is kinda ridonculous”. ? The flash runs so fast that he time travels back in time and changes the course of history… “logic” flew out the window a long time ago, Tom Connors.
The biggest thing is that it’s a mix of critics and movie theater business owners who watched “The Flash”. This is a big deal but I’m still optimistic.
3:12 their contempt for 'emotion' is odd; are we not supposed to *feel* ?
The point is that emotion should not supersede reason, nor should it ignore reality.
I would have loved to see a decapitated Mera though. I bet that's why they didnt even touched the original flashpoint storyline. They would have given the image of Amber Turd that half of the world would have celebrated and memed to oblivion.
To be fair, it also had positive test screenings from what I heard... The problem I have with this movie though is kind of the same problem I had with the Shazam 2... None of these characters (besides flash apparently) will be in the new rebooted DC movies going forward, so similar to Shazam 2, it just feels pretty pointless to watch...
Because you have to understand this movie was in development before David Zaslav took over WB as well as James Gunn and Peter Safran took over DC studios...
So yes I do think this movie might actually do well, button turn that also gives them an exuse to keep Ezra Miller so this isn't quite the win for us...
I also don't quite understand why they kept Amber Heard in Aquaman 2, also a pointless movie because again... They rebooted the whole thing and now the actor for Aquaman will be recasted as Lobo so then I guess they will get a new aquaman.
So again this movie is pretty pointless to watch because the Supergirl that they have for this movie? Yeah no she isn't staying for the new DC movies, plus that was a terrible casting choice to begin with... Like they could have at least made her wear a yellow wig but I guess that's too much work 🤷 plus this is only a one-time Cameo for Michael Keaton obviously, if fans seriously think they're going to keep putting him in future DC movies then they are delusional.
honestly the way to judge this would be to read a critics review of the Flash and then read the same critics review of Ant-Man or Eternals
