If by changing the controls is the sims team way of saying they didn't want people to play there game anymore. Well they r doing a GREAT job

I mean... they changed the controls one time, without an apology BUT with making it worse (e.g. having the fast forward and the search bar on the same button) ... and then they banned people complaining specifially in the HQ thread they made for complaining about condole issues 😂 I play on console bc I prefered it to the PC controls ... but it's such a mess. Imagine how they will manage multi platform Sims 5.

I’m so done w sims atp… Console players ask for simple things we never asked for controls to be changed! We (all the people I know who play sims 10-12 ish) asked for a color wheel, lashes for a more realistic feel, better/more skin tones, and other small things that would help gameplay since console gets so dry after a while. I refuse to spend extra money on something EA won’t just fix! What blows me is nobody asked for the update and it’s so terrible😭!!!
I remember playing the sims 2 pets (a standalone game on console) on PS2 and being to actually control my sim with the analogue sticks like you said was so awesome. And yeah the build/buy wasn't ideal but it was functional.
Then I played the Sims 4 when it was temporarily free via PS Plus (this was in 2020 long before TS4 became permanently free) and was shocked that the UI and stuff was like exactly the same as on PC. I couldn't get used to anything and I uninstalled it immediately. And now EA made the controls even worse? Console Simmers really got the short end of the stick here.
OMG I HAVE SIMS 2 PETS PS2 AS WELL!! I didnt play it as much tho cause it wasnt 2 player hahah Me and my brother would fight over whos turn it was when we werent playing together. Good times!

I can't imagine how to play sims 4 using console. can someone enlighten me. is it easy to build using console? oh but i can imagine you walk and do things like RPG style.

Yeah playing the sims with a controller sucks. No, players cannot revert changes or choose legacy controls, theyre forced into the new controls.
I play on console and while same changes are annoying i can live. Others break functions i should have. Really makes me angry

Well, we had Sims 2 on the PS2 as a kid, no idea when exactly I started playing it but as far back as I can remember I was playing with my brothers! So really I've been a Sims fan pretty much all my life hahah
All the shit EA is doing just feels like a never ending April fools joke...
