I thought Australia had a consumer protection agency? Do they protect you against software companies that delete your accounts? That should qualify as theft, I would think.

So I just got the pack today but was playing the sims without it after the update with my legacy household that has 4 cats and omg idk what they did but my cats were clipping through EVERYTHING. They were suddenly walking through walls, clipping through cabinets, walking down the stairs but then suddenly jumping back up to the top of the stairs. I'm ngl I'm a little scared to open up the game now that the new pack has downloaded 😅
Ohhh shit that's interesting! Cause the cats and dogs work similarly to horses so I'm wondering that something they've done for horses has bugged out cats and dogs as well
it's a dmn game! i do NOT need to be reminded of evil placed on groups of ppl in this GAME! common sense. they can pull from the environment around the world and cultures, but taking negatives about true historical events that people are still going though and are impacted by was/is straight up insane. then also trying to spin it like it was/is this beautiful thing! these communities in the sims are FICTIONAL!!! FRAKKING let us frakking BEATHE dmn!!! whoever was responsible for that needs letting go and/or sensitivity training bc it should've never been allowed.

Yeah, it's such a shame that so many companies are going digital nowadays. When I purchased The Sims 4 from a brick-and-mortar store, I thought it had a disc inside. Nope. It was just an empty box. An empty box with promotionals. EA even skipped out on the manual. The only way to keep your EA games forever is to keep EA (company) forever instead of letting it rot. For the Sims 4 DLC, I got them on Amazon.
I think the only way to keep it forever legally is to burn the games onto a physical disc, and use it just for personal use. That way, if EA ever crashes down, I can just play with the physical discs.
Yep that'd do it only id assume a spinning optical wouldn't be as fast right? When I first bought Sims4 I actually got it on disk HAHA it was my first PC game ever and I came from a PS2 so I had no idea u could just download games
This may be controversial but whatever. As a black american (descended from slaves) I kinda wish EA kept the old willow creek description. It perfectly fit the world and i feel there was no good reason to remove it. Then again im not upset bc like you said, it is just a game. They couldve put that time into doing something else for gods sake 🤦♀️
Yeah looking back now in hindsight... was it a good idea.. for me, a white Aussie to be talking about it... probably not BAHAHA I think it would've been for the best if they had just never included it in the first place

So sims 4 is empty and omg I get so pissed because I started with sims 1. Sims 2 iconic. Sims 3 good too but 4. Bro I wouldn’t buy another pack due to the lack of content. Limited and shallow. Removing slavery thing I gotta say I think history shouldn’t be forgotten. What they need to do is give us the ability to name the worlds and description since we can’t make our world. Oh yeah we can in sims 2 and 3. Yeah I have a very dislike towards sims 4 because I love the sims. Hate it how they use their players.

Yep literally no way around it for sims 2 unless you have like a windows 7 system and buy the disks off of ebay or something lol, but EA wouldn't make money from that anyway. And windows 7 is not safe to use anymore because its end of life.

When you pirate the sims and its 93737483 packs, are you able to uninstall them as you wish?
Yeah well that's the thing... they aren't installed per se. Its just an exact copy of a pack folder like for eg; EP05, is where all legal packs would normally be placed if bought legally. You then run a dlc unlocker/injector program to force the sims 4 to read them as purchased. So uninstalling them is as simple as removing the specific pack, like say EP05, from your sims 4 folder and re-running the injector

@@refiaatmaca3008 Oh yeah its as easy as and the process hasnt changed since the early 2000s, its still just torrent links for utorrent or bittorrent and the same process as pirating music on limewire lmao
How do i pirate sims 4?
I can't tell you outright... but there are sites you can find pretty easy with a quick google.. if you know what I mean (literally just type torrent at the end of the game name)
