@@second_second_ I had to add an adjustment layer in premiere pro, then add gaussian blur to that layer, then create a mask for where the blur would sit.
Then create keyframes and move the blur every frame so it covered the entire lense for each frame.

It seems they learned from the My Wedding Nightmares livestream. The Native American representation is there... only if you squint enough to close your eyes. And by the way loved the intro👍
They could use and most likely have used the best footage they got ... and still the livestream was lackluster and somewhat demotivated, *and* I think there were also tiny glitches 🤭 Anyway!
Yeah I noticed one when they called the horses into that pen that one started freaking out and clipping through the gate. But this is also a problem with the actual sims when u send 2 thru a door at the same time.. So I'm not surprised that carries over hahaha
I think the reason they prerecorded it was because they didn't want to have to deal with all the backlash they knew they would get in the chat if they did a livestream. Scamming us with this $40 GAME PACK.
Yeah I'm inclined to believe that as well.. it's just.. not even just that but the gameplay trailer just being another cinematic, the absolute silence from gurus, and the way a lot of people have responded to the pack... yeah it just gives off the look that they don't want to face it and just wanna get it out and then distract us again with newer shit.
And then we'll all forget and not care because hey! New pack! And the cycle continues
Gonna try to wait a few extra days after release to see just how buggy the game is

It's always concerning when the Gurus are radio silent on a pack. The 'livestream' was just...sad. I remember when it finished the chat was flooded with people saying "that's it???" I wasn't convinced the pack was worth the money before the livestream and I'm even less convinced now. There's just no gameplay besides riding your horse on empty trails to empty spots on the map and nectar-making animations we've already seen in game. That's all there is to it. If EA thinks that's worth paying $60 CAD, they're out of their minds.
Woah what! an EP is $60 CAD??!! It's $49.95 AUD here, but $60 CAD is like.. nearly $70 AUD if I'm remembering right. Wtaf that's so expensive!!

However, they showed nothing to justify it being an expansive pack.
While snowy escape is isolated too, I feel like it added so much for me for gameplay because I tend to make a lot of Asian sims.
I wanted more indigenous stuff, damn.
I live deep in the south, I do love this look and theme.

I get that the town seems like a ghost town and empty but I feel like it’ll probably grow if that makes sense? I played city living and I thought the city was dead asf when I first played because there was like no sims walking around but couple days go by and there’s people passing by and everything 😅 so I’m hoping maybe that’s the same for this pack too 😂
CAS style is great and giving RDR2 vibes. There just aren't enough items, especially for children. Maybe I'm wrong but a toddler gets chaps(?) and a female child doesn't? That's just bizarre lol because children can ride horses! They should've gotten the cowboy stuff. Maybe they somehow didn't show us everything but... some game packs came with more items (my wedding stories). They could have tried to compensate for the lack of gameplay with CAS (build looks enough). I don't know. Looking forward to it and hoping there will be good surprises
On the point of food, how does Sims 2 still have the best food in both looks and animations. The Sims 4 cooking a cheese toasty is the biggest downgrade compared to Sims 2.
Omg yes and the pizza too! It looks the best in Sims2 and even bends under it own weight like real life! The Sims 2's attention to small details is incredible

Oh yeah Life by You I'm really curious to see how that game goes! I don't think it'll pull a cities skylines and become the best of its genre by far but it could turn out as a good competitor. At the very least I hope both LBY and Paralives as competition to The Sims really knocks some sense into EA and Maxis so they can actually publish a great Sims game again
