me when i first started playing: never cheats, makes money naturally, is a good bean
me now: cheats when i first start playing everys single family and never runs out of money
i don't think i have ever played without cheating one way or another, sometimes i play without money cheat but even thats rare
I try so hard to not money cheat but working takes way too long to make as much as I need lol
@@camerynr8344 A good paying job can help with that. The pro lemon with it is that I am too lazy to let my sims work that hard. Bodybuilding isn't that bad though. Oracle too.

The problem with the University debug cheat;
You can enroll toddlers. This is how i managed to play a toddler in University. Toddlers cannot do Uni homework, so it didn't work out well...

(Some of my more Justifiable uses of Cheats)
Well my first character came from a wealthy family (Multi-Millionaire Level) so I needed to spam Motherlode to make her Wealthy
First "Family" (It was a group of friends) was a band with some success before moving in so I made them have the income that shows that (also did the Toggle Death Cheat because I didn't want them to die)
Latest Family (Another Group of friends) - Need to build a School for the Modded Story I'm doing where they take shelter from a start of a Zombie Outbreak (Made the Mistake of using 4,000,000 thinking that Builds costs are realistic since I only used a little over 110K)

Ultimate Guide to Cheating in The Sims 4 (REVISED EDITION)
Step 1: Choose any aspiration under the "Romance" tab. (Preferably Serial Romantic) Sims who choose a Romance Aspiration is given a trait which allows their Romantic Interactions be mostly successful.
Step 2: Start your way throughout the aspiration (Preferably Serial Romantic). Upon finishing the Serial Romantic Aspiration (which is the preferred one), your sim will be given the “Player” trait. This trait allows your sim to cheat on their romantic partner(s) without having them be jealous if they catch you in the act.
Step 3: Get a soulmate or girlfriend/boyfriend or fiancé/fiancée or wife/husband (by now you should have gotten one already) and start cheating on them! (You would have already cheated on multiple Sims if you have engaged in the Serial Romantic Aspiration.
Your sim’s partner(s) will never get jealous of you if you supposedly have the “Player” trait! Happy cheating (in the Sims) and have a good day!

Such a complete guide. I've been playing the Sims since the first edition came out and thought I knew it all, yet I managed to learn something new from this (shift up to repeat command)! Thanks again for your time and devotion in gathering all this information.
I have changed my gameplay over this past year. From never use mods to being addicted to the super stuff from modders and other developers, to regular use of cheats and debug. Think I was getting bored! Watching James yesterday I wasn't entirely surprised to discover that much of Snowy Escapes was helped (perfectly) by four of my fave tubers! Hope this happens again.

This video was quite thorough and I'm impressed. It goes to show that even the more seasoned players can still learn something new. I saw others mention not knowing how to force plants to be in season, this one I did know, but I had no idea I could disable motive decay for the whole house at once without shift clicking on every single person and trying to keep track of who I clicked and who I didn't. I will certainly be saving this video for future reference and to share with fellow simmers. I have been a fan of Carl's guides for a while and use them fairly often for lists and such but I believe you have shown you can always so something a little better :D
I would absolutely LOVE if you could teach classes for simmers. Charge people a flat rate and sit them down for a few hours in an interactive seminar online and when they are done they can manipulate as well as the best. I'm willing to bet this particular video will have a hundred thousand views by the end of the weekend and tens of thousands of likes in no time, very useful information.

I don't use cheats myself (except MOO and the occasional Money 0) but I applaud you providing a list, especially for Simmers whose game is not in English... cheat codes are not translated ! So the "named like what you'd expect" type of cheats are a tiny bit less expected when your game is in French. I'm sending this to my sister, I'm sure she'll use that a lot.

Okay i just wanna point out it’s interesting how you say “live mode” as in living, cause I say live mode as in live action movie! It was something I never thought about until someone asked on a sims Facebook group I’m in
halfofhaley I say live, as in liv haha but I guess live as in live action makes sense too!
Just for interest... On a video I saw of the developers, they said liv. I've always said live (as in action movie). :)

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has done that! I have said that since the very first Sims, and only recently realized that I'm wrong. I personally think that going live sound so much more natural.
I’ve always said it that way too (live that rhymes with hive) oh well, I can’t change now lol
On the topic of removing all buffs, I've found the Potion of Emotinal Stability to remove all sorts of effects, including things like "becoming a vampire" or "at my house with the celebrity home/tiny home effects". It doesn't seem to clear "high needs" though.
It also removes pregnancies... I think it's literally the buff removal cheat in potion form. XD

@FlyingMonkies325 wow thanks because the mom & dad in my game died from old age & the kids were sad for a very long time until I stole a mansion & got their mood up which was a job
So discovered what isn't exactly a cheat, it does strongly feel like one. Startup a new Sim and put them in a lot and make that lot be the tiny home with the relationship perk. Then start up a club with just them as the member. You are given 100 free club points as soon as the club is formed. Purchase a good reputation from the club perks taking all 100 points you just got. Start a club gathering and say hello to any random sim. Instantly your relationship will become near max. Just keep being friendly to random sims for only a short bit of time and you'll suddenly have the first stage of a good reputation.
Now with this combo, if you so much as say "hello" to anyone new you'll instantly be at the max relationship with them. Your reputation from Get Famous will continue to increase so fast that on my sim that I discovered this on has a charisma of 1, a Great Reputation (It's either rank 3 or right on the verge of earning me rank 3), and I have 3 maxed relationships. It would be more but when I saw it go up so fast I did testing. If you aren't in an active club gathering or not on your home lot you don't get the boosts from there.
So if you talk to people when you are off of your home lot without being in a club gathering you'll see relationship gains move much closer to normal speeds. But why is it so fast? Well, the relationship perks for being on your Tiny Home Lot is doubling all relationship gains, while Popular Club makes gains from initial introductions higher, and lastly, with the first rank of good reputation, there is a chance that a friendly introduction will result in a higher boost. Combine those all at the same time and you get a number that is 100% (or higher).
What do you need for this to work? You need the reputation system from Get Famous, the club system from Get Togeather, and the Micro Home from Tiny Living.

It's much better for storytelling to use cheats. I don't want all of my characters to start at square one, it makes no sense.

For skills it's better to use the wishing well
Shift-click the well (testing cheats enabled)
1. Turn off wish cool down
2. Force overwhelming positive outcomes
3. Wish for skills , many times in a que

When the devs disabled removing buffs to not accidentally terminate pregnancies, but I used them for this exact reason-

To “shift click” on Xbox, all you need to press is (and hold) the B and then the A button. Idk about PlayStation if you press (and hold) the O and X button, because I only play the Xbox.

Thank Goodness for MCC Command Center and UI Cheats. They make cheats on PC so much easier. These cheat code tips are invaluable to console players! I used them when I used to play on PS 4 and they work great. Thanks Carl 😊😊

You could also just download MCCC, which has all of them in one (somewhat) handy place, and also some other useful things

What does it do?
This is my first time ever playing SIMS, and I was trying to figure out how to change my SIM character to look more like me than what the xbox one chose.
Tap on the sims outfit to change like tab body to change shirt and pants tap head to change stuff like hair hats and makeup
click on Sim icon to select which Sim, then click on dresser.

If the command box isn’t coming up, do Ctrl+Shift+Windows button (button with windows flag) and then C. Idk what happened but a few patches ago CSC no longer worked for me.

I use MC Command Center, pretty damn useful, it even logs errors via CC, mods, or the game itself, and tells you when CC or a mod is out of date or broken

🙄🙄🙄the plant sim stage won’t be permanent. It will last 5 sim days.
If you didn't save your game after that happened, just go back to main menu without saving it and back to the game and your sim is no longer a plant sim, that's all I did before, I hope it helps

If your on Xbox One MAKE SURE to first put testingcheats on in the bar first to enable it and then try these cheats at first I was so heated cuz these wasn’t working but you have to make sure to do that step (on xbox one at least)
