I've spoken with SMD, Doug, Mark and Dean, they are all great guys and doing fantastic stuff for the car audio scene! I met EXO several times at Slamology in Indy and he is how he seems in his videos, a super cool guy. He is just a normal dude doing Bass Head stuff in his driveway... I watched his videos to learn about the Big 3 upgrade years ago and his vids got me back into car audio and car audio comps!

thanks for sharing, for some crazy sound competition building "EXOcontralto" the in car technology especially in the last 10 years is starting to get very complex to integrate aftermarket. If a customer want something very simple and doesn't want to understand all the stuff to make it sound good they're not gonna be sold on something else. Awesome work with your limitation of resources you do have available.

My favorite channels are 5 car stereo , Car audio etc , Mattschaeffer . Your channel and 5 car stereo are the most realistic down to earth true car stereo, the other 2 are more fantasy non realistic stereo system build ups.

With regard to Doug/Amplified, It's worth going back and watching the old Amplified episodes. It's less of Doug's slapstick comedy and more car audio, plus there's the shop dynamic. I like Doug's channel for the same reasons you do, but I could do without quite so much, well you know...
