Interesting but diamonds arent fragile
Irl they are. They’re technically “hard” in the sense they’re scratch resistant (Mohs scale), but they’re brittle and can shatter easily because they can’t absorb impacts at all

Whenever you find a structure, you get a message "Creeper:trash loot" and the structure explodes, disable the block drops to optimize the game
Add a enchantment called "Gamble"
When u attack a mob with that enchantment there is a 25% that u actually hit

Make furnaces/smokers/blast furnaces burn you and set you on fire for 10 seconds if you try to pull out smelted items without tongs/oven mitts while the furnace is still lit, or if you directly touch a furnace while it's on.
Bonus points to have food burn and turn into barely editable burnt food, and then into charcoal if you leave it in the oven too long.
Make the overworld have the nether theme, and the nether have overwold theme (like Changing lava for water, netherrack for grass etc)

Slimes dissolve everything they touch.
Like baby slimes destroy items on the ground, but giant slimes can destroy entire blocks.
You should make extra inventory slots on the sides but if it weighs to much it breaks off and the items shoot out in random directions

What if instead sunburn, you sweat and loose water and mineral salts, if you loose too much mineral salts you will be slower and have cramps running or sleeping, if you loose to much water, you will be dizzy, unable to run and sunburns will affect you.

All chests have a chance to become mimics that attack you when you try to open them. They also don't like being sucked, so they will attack all hoppers on sight. A chest that was turned into a mimic can also be turned "good" by petting them.
make it so that when you receive damage, all mobs within a radius of 100 blocks are attracted to you, and with each decreasing heart, the radius becomes 2 times larger!!!
specifically code the bedrock glitch where all non-player entities teleport 32k blocks on the y axis

The sunburn could benlegit if you added a tanning ability, aka every time you get pink you gain + tan buff, which delays sunburn based on it's strength. It is also on a timer that lasts 1 and a half minecraft days, so if you don't go outside every day to keep your tan up it degrades by 1 level every time the timer runs out.

Gravity starts off very low, but increases every second.
Add a time event. For example, when you are finishing cooking a beef, a time event ui appears and you need to press X, C, V in 2 seconds or the furnace will explode.
Here are some ideas. Just pick one of them, maybe. #3 is my favorite, but also the hardest to code.
1. You open doors and chests by KICKING IT OPEN WITH FORCE, causing the top half of the door/chest to launch into the distance. (You can do this by replacing the block with a FallingSand entity that's moving away from the player at a high speed. To open a chest by kicking away the top half of it, you'll likely have to create multiple custom block models and swap out the blocks to create the illusion.)
2. Furnaces that REALLY hate you. Whenever you right click on the furnace, it'll not open, but instead it'll start walking away from you. (You might implement this by replacing the furnace with an ocelot, and edit the model to look like a furnace block instead.)
3. When you try to grief a village house (by breaking one of the blocks), all the blocks in that house start chasing you and attacking you. (This works like this: Whenever you break a block in the house, you recursively find all the house's blocks, replace all the house's blocks with angry wolves, make the wolves angry at Minecraft.getMinecraft().thePlayer (or whatever that's called in 2024), and make the wolves look like the block they used to be, by adding a constructor to the wolf entity that inputs the right BlockState to render.)
4. Shooting with a bow throws random blocks from your inventory. (as FallingSand entities, of course.) Special case: If you try to throw a slime block, it'll throw a Slime entity instead.
5. Hell Rain: Change the rain texture to be lava colored, and make fire, magma cubes, and other hell things spawn on top of blocks that are being rained on. (There is a method in Block.java which gets called randomly for blocks that are getting rained on, like to randomly fill cauldrons with water. That's the code you should change.)
6. Force pushing. You know how mobs push each other when they walk into each other? Make them BLAST each other at high speeds instead. Then, put a bunch of mobs in a square arena, with an ice floor, with walls made of invisible mobs that hold still (probably using the NBT tag NoAI=1), so that the mobs start bouncing around in there. Or maybe, try to breed two pigs but they keep force pushing each other away.
Your video just put all my middle school code to shame, lol. I used to mess with Minecraft's code too using MCP years ago, back when that was being updated. Now, I just don't have the time or patience.
