Thanks. Nice quick overview. Exactly what I needed.
I'm definitely saving up for this mic
*I recently bought the Rode Video Mic Go for my DSLR on my food channel and it's really improved my audio quality*
yea i love the video mic pro. I also recently bought the Rode NT-USB (a podcasting mic) for the tutorials i place up for my uni students. I love the NT-USB even more. It is a great mic. - LJ 😁
I have had a Mic Pro attached to my 70d since last year. I think the proportions work really well but the 70D is on the bigger end of entry level DSLRs. I think if the collapse the size down it would greatly help. A lot of the size is just the sock over the microphone. Having a 9v batter probably doesn't help either.
yea. It took me a few goes to work out how to open it up to change the battery as well. I love the mic and the setup but i think the design could have been a little better.
I'm currently using the rode smart lav+ for presenting to camera. This mic though is very interesting!
could you do a vid about the rode mics? Thanks
I use the Sennheiser wireless lapel mic since I could be very far from the camera at times.
Hello Thanks for this nice video, i use the rode NT3 for interviews and the rode video micro for the camera :)
I'm using my iPhone mic. But, thinking of either getting a rode lavalier or sennheiser clip mic!
what do you think about the polsen Vm150 and is 75 bucks a good deal it's slightly used
MKE 440 is miles ahead of any rode shotgun mic.
right now I have blue snowball, not the best for what I am doing but it was a gift and its way better than the built in mic in my camera. I want to invest in a zoom h1 with a lapel mic and then a shotgun mic to give me some diversity.
Which mic is better the sennheiser mke 440 or the rhode video mice pro r if you want to record classical music concert (6-10 meter distance) or some theater?
My current setup has a BOYA BY-VM190, Canon T5I and 24mm f2.8 STM.
Great vid. Bro
;D
I am very interested
im curious who is your cameraman when you do these type of videos?
Really wanted to go to NAB and meet you! But anyways, i use rode video micro :)
I am using an aputure v mic d2
Great vid will get the mic
none other than the rode vidmic go. i usually run the audio into my zoom H1. Combined, the audio from them is amazing. I just then run my zoom to my dslr
I use VideoMic Pro but would prefer the Rode Wireless Lav system
I use a cheap $20 Sony ECMCS3 lav mic. It's cheap, but the sound is pretty great.
Any suggestions for 🎤 for iPhone's??
yes... check out this playlist czcams.com/play/PLgc0GNip2uYWqIaQEfBUYxIyzpvZ-VtQa.html
yes
amazing video
Plz tell a camera and mic setup under 600 dollars
To me the Rode has a unpleasant somewhat exaggerated sound in the treble range. IMO the Sennheiser sounds more natural.
I was gonna say that
I like the Rode Video mic go and Micro
I use rode pro with a preamp by ART. Gets the job done.
I've been using a lapel mic that I hang from the ceiling right above the frame.. just because I don't like how it looks attached to a t-shirt haha. I do want to upgrade soon, though. Is the rode mic good enough to capture 2 people interview style?
For sure ... but you would want to be close to the camera (close to the mic).
Lapel mic hung from the ceiling? Now that's thinking outside the box! I like that
Haha thanks! Yeah it works pretty well, especially when you're below a ceiling fan you can just drape it over one of the blades.
Stick it under your t-shirt! If you use the Rode invisilav to mount it in, you don't have to worry about the rustle of your t-shirt against the mic
How would the VideoMic Pro compare to the older VideoMic? is the extra $70 worth it? Thanks.
ShoresOfHelll Yes
I use a video mic go on dslr and a video mic me on my phone vlogging rig.
seinnheiser is a lot better!
For sure - sounds amazing!
Yeah, but the Pro is mounted to the side. A directional mic needs to be aimed at the mouth, so not really a fair comparison. Still, the Sennheiser sounds good!
seinnheiser sounded great!
Hey cool video Sean
I use the rode videomicro its a good but affordable mic
I need that mic for my vlog videos. Sean, you helped me gain 2.1k subscribers on my channel, Brother. Thank you for sharing your content. Much love from Miami =)
hi
How Much Is It?
349 USD
I use a Rode VideoMic Me.
Rode Videomic GO. It's quite cheap but good for beginners I'd say
Thanks!
Your channel looks really good too. A lot better overall quality than mine, that's for sure :)
RODE mic is a bit veiled
The mic of my iPhone 5S haha
Rode Video Mic Go. That's it.
Yeah, I use the GO with Nikon D5300
DJI....??????? More of drones and stuff compact...
