I certify that this review is based on my own experience and is my genuine opinion of this product and that I have no personal or business relationship with this brand. I have not been offered any incentive or payment originating from the brand to film this review
See you on the next video, take care! 👍

Is it worth using BT-QD....what? takes it toll on LSP....what? Do you have a list that explains all of the abbreviations somewhere-I'm new to this and haven't a clue what they mean. Thanks for the great video btw (by the way) 😁
Sorry Ian, you get so used to group forum chat that it gets ingrained into the mind , can’t think what BT is but QD is a Quick Detailer and LSP is the Last Stage Protection like a wax etc , I have made a note to myself to not abbreviate in future, thanks for bringing it to my attention 👍
@@GMDetails No worries and thanks for getting back with the explanation. I'm sure most people that visit understand the abbreviations.
Maybe just make a pinned post with frequently used abbreviations or add them to the information section at the top to save you having to remember?
Thanks
@@prestonian1066 I’ve pinned your comment to the top, I’ll certainly make a point of not abbreviating in voiceover going forward 👍
@@GMDetails I would have thought they meant BH-QD bilt hamber quick detailer, but I could be wrong 🤔
Great review of both products Graeme, really enjoyed how in-depth it was. Touch-less looks very impressive! The difference between touch-on in the bucket and in a lance was massive! Really good water sheeting, and I guess this method would be a bit faster than a spray and rinse sealant too.
Thanks Heather , appreciate you saying that. A spray and rinse product might actually be quicker as it doesn’t have to cure, be an interesting comparison tho 🤔
After watching this video I just bought myself the touchless and touch on products. Very honest review did it for me thank you sir! :)
Thanks for the feedback Jimmy!!, glad you enjoyed it 😉
Hi Graeme!
Very good video/review, the touch less from Bilt Hamber looks good!
Nice one!
👍💪
Thanks Alan, I really like it mate, actually prefer it to Autofoam
Good honest review have to try some 👍🚗
Thanks Will, let me know how you get on if you try it 🙏
I have to make a separate comment about the music - wow!
On the second half of that video, when you were doing the BM, the music was amazing! Sound levels were perfect. I'll be watching this again, brilliant production 👍🏼👍🏼
That’s my favourite part as well mate, really loved how it turned out and I have to admit taking guidance from your videos here putting music into sections rather than just playing in the background , it’s really helped my production 🙏
@@GMDetails it worked really well absolutely loved the audio 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for putting these to review, Very thoroughly tried and tested there Graeme unlike another half arsed effort on these products i see from some other CZcamsr... If I ever run out of my current snow foam collection I’ll definitely be checking out touch-less but touch-on don’t see that fitting into my routine, for someone maintaining a coated car or something it could be an easy option I suppose.
Cheers Nick!, yeah it’s a niche product touch on, bit like people who like waxes vs sealants 😅
Good to see that Man Utd was not your only success
sugar tax , very good. Excellent review I also use auto foam so will give it a go. Read elsewhere that Touch-less is formulated to leave less product residue than auto foam. Hope your subscriber count increases, deserves to, keep them Coming. cheers Rob
Thank you Rob!, it’s amazing how little product residue is left with touch less , very good new products from BH 👍
I used touch on a few weeks ago in a bucket and was just like milky water, today i did same as you and put it in the lance and so much better :)
Excellent mate 🙏
Glad you got the same results, thanks for commenting 🙌🏻
Fantastic video Graeme. Without me even trying Touch On, you've highlighted one of the biggest issues I have with it - packaging! Very confusing as BH usually highlight that their products are biodegradable and now have an echo-friendly pre-wash 🤷🏻♂️
Results looked fantastic, particularly on the BMW!
Thanks mate, it’s very strange indeed, why they don’t trust the user to dilute a product is a mystery , and you’re right!, biodegradable liquid with an extreme cost to the environment with the packaging 🤦🏻♂️
Glad you enjoyed the video , I’m confused with BH’s response saying to add the sachet to a spray bottle as that concentration seems way too much , unless I find a 14L spray bottle 😂😂
@@GMDetails doesn't make a lot of sense to me either 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for posting. I was wondering which to buy but I will opt for touchless giving me the option of using it with a pump sprayer.
You’re welcome mate, yeah that will last you a heck of a long time 😅
Great review! I will apply it from a snow foam cannon from now on.
Thanks Ben, how were you using it?
@@GMDetails in a bucket. The results were ok after a few months but not like using a pressure washer.
Ah it def lasts longer on clean paint rather than trying to clean with it too
Good vid and review👍 I’m a snow foam believer after having a white car so will be trying the touch less soon. The touch on seemed really good via lance and will be good for winter time so look forward to your update👍
Thanks Jimmy, brilliant nickname BTW 😂
Please do try for yourself and let me know here how you get on with it , glad you liked the video mate, thank you 🙏
@@GMDetails should be puttputtputt really 😆
Aww was that taken? 😂
great video Graeme, im only just getting to grips with auto foam and now this has arrived ha! the touch less looked impressive, the tough on looked pretty average, almost as if its trying to be to many things.
Thanks Dave, it’s certainly better on the BMW but the Toyota didn’t take much protection at all 🤷🏻♂️
Really informative review, good to see both application methods of the touch on. I have just got in from trying touch-less my self at 4% pir. Applied to a dry car and i must admit it was very good. It cleaned as good as using a citrus pre wash first followed by my usual snow foam wp 8 below. Touch on doesnt look as good as kkd purity x and you only use 5ml of that in a lance.
Thanks Dean!, good to hear you had similar results , Purity !!!! YES!, I do keep forgetting about that , you’re right!!, 5ml, INSANE!!!
now looking at the kkd purity x that you mentioned, cheers
Love to hear how you get on with that
Honest review again👍. Don't think I'll try the Touch-on. I just tried the Bilt hamber Autofoam for the first time and I love the cleaning power it's got. Gonna take me a while to finish that 5 litre. Maybe I'll try the touchless after.
Thanks mate, that’s the right way!!, finish what you’ve got first or you’ll end up like me buried under so many products the shelves are creaking 😂
I was also reminded about KKD spray n rinse sealant being only 5ml in the lance so that’s maybe something to try again, a spray n rinse sealant comparison 🤔
@@GMDetails I'm trying to get a range of products to use for washing the car that work really well. The Autofoam is one of them. I like to experiment a bit with the LSP.
Thing is that there are so many products around to try and the fact that detailing is some sort of addiction that you'll definitly end up with a huge collection of different products 😂😂
@@wills_details yes I agree , it’s inevitable 🤦🏻♂️
Great video - Would you say it's an APC or a Snowfoam or hybrid?
I was gonna ask is will this be your new go to but you answered that..
I would imagine in a pump sprayer or even a trigger , touch less could be a very versatile product indeed , further testing required at 10-1 as a plastics cleaner etc. I’ll post updates on Instagram
Great Video thank you for for answering a burning question I had about using a snow foam lance to apply Touch-On. Is it worth using BT-QD as a drying aid when drying the vehicle off.
Thanks Greg!, if you’re going to use Touch -On you can use 1ml in a litre of water of Touch On as a drying aid , that’ll work perfectly or if you don’t want to break open a sachet just for 1ml then you can dilute BH-QD down to 10-1 as a drying aid with it too 💪
@@GMDetails that’s great thank you! I’m also now considering using it in the same way Autoglym Polar wash is applied. Sprayed on then use a wash mitt, and rinse the mitt off panel by panel as a contact wash.
How has anyone not thought of this before??, seems obvious now!, yeah that sounds like it could work really well tbh 😎
@@GMDetails Great thanks very much for your advice and for getting back to me! Much appreciated 😊
I heard that touch-on also has a cleaning capability , it would be interesting to try them both in a sf lance without washing the car with a shampoo and see how clean it gets
About as much cleaning ability as any surfactant really , but that would certainly be an interesting test
Good video& review Graeme. Im not a great believer in snow foams & also not a member of the Bilt Hamber fan club but the touch less foam looked to work well but Im not inclined to go for the touch on as it looks average at best.
Hi Martin , thanks for the nice feedback mate. Only time will tell if it improves over the next month or so with subsequent washes , it’s certainly not something I’d normally use (touch on) but for a valeter wanting a quick hydrophobic coating to leave a customer with gloss and shine it’s a real time saver
Touch less is however, a fantastic cleanser and can be used in a sprayer too so multiple uses for it, not to mention none of the nasty cancer related chemicals in some snow foams 😬
That was a shock to learn that.
The best part about the bilt hamber stuff is that you don’t have to use it in a snow foam lance. You’ll get the same results as in a pump sprayer and saturating the surface in terms of wetting it out. I’ve seen on CZcams and on personal test how I can get the same great results irrespective of applying as snow foam or standalone fluid in a sprayer and I find it so much more cost effective as a sprayer.
It is indeed cost effective as a sprayable product, I wonder if the fact it foams is just public demand and BH actually would prefer it to be used as a spray 🤔
These are the things that go through my mind at 4am 🤣🤣🤣
@@GMDetails Much more affordable as a sprayable product. It foams as that is the latest craze in the market and industry demand but few people would describe it as foaming well. It’s dwell time is average at best and generally poor. It’ll foam for a bit but otherwise the foam itself adds nothing to the cleaning power of the product and imo in terms of efficiency and for BH, it’s utterly pointless to invest in as an aspect for the product. Having spoken to BH themselves, they’re not fussed how you use it. It’s just proof that the product is flexible in how it can be used and it is a selling point tbf. The smell of it, autofoam, autowash and surfex hd is sooooo good.
Lol you aren’t the only one. I started watching your video at 2am before nodding off 🤣😂. Surfex HD and autofoam are generally an incredibly potent mix I’ve used before but surfex can really take the life out of LSP previously applied to the bodywork.
@@kwl189 That’s a very interesting comment , certainly something to think about , I’ve been using Garage Therapy One Snowfoam in the last half of the year , I’ll do a comparison test between Autofoam, Touchless & Surfex in the new year just to see what conclusions arise 😁
More sleep Therapy 🤣🤣
Did you try putting a coat of Touch-On over the car, then putting the rest in a bucket? I still believe a hands on wash will clean better.
I just pre-ordered both here in the states. Long time Auto Foam user. Looking forward to trying this!
I haven’t Jeffrey to be fair , I agree a hands on wash will be better but in future I’ll be applying touch on after a wash not during
I have used this and had brilliant results maybe try half the water or something soo its concentrated abit more and then it works abit better
Thanks for Subscribing Aaron, appreciate it!, I have an updated video trying different applications going live on Friday, I will try a more concentrated solution next time, the gloss it gives off is incredible so far, loving it!
@@GMDetails yeah it is good stuff I have 1 left from the 10 and always made it bead off alot better also gyeon wet coat is worth a try if you haven't tried it
@@aaronjermy645 yes mate, wet coat is incredible , thinking of doing a mega test of spray n rinse protection 🤔
@@GMDetails yeah I'd watch it may buy 4 litres of the wet coat and also I just got bilt hamber speed wax to try aswell
Awesome 🙌🏻
The touch on ive not seen anyone use in a
Lance yet witch you did here I’m not buying into it I’ve seen stuff like top gloss do the exact same thing see if it lasts I think to judge this one
Yes exactly like top gloss, Angelwax Blue Rinse and others mate, I think BH just wanted a quick method of applying protection as it was amis from the range 🤔
I’ll update with another video on CZcams on the next wash in a few weeks 🤔
i used touch-on for the 1st time at the weekend instead of my favoured lazy protection (autobrite magiseal).
cant say i am overly impressed. to me the hydrophobicity is nowhere near magiseal. the magiseal also adds gloss where as the bilt hamber did not.
will try again with a longer dwell time.
with magiseal i do not tend to let it dwell at all.
just my opinions , so far
enjoyed the review though
Hi, thanks for subscribing 😃, hmmm I might need to check out magiseal, not used any Autobrite for quite a while, I’ll wait till their end of year sale and pick some up, thanks for sharing your experience 🙏
@@GMDetails no problem, i need to try it again as i said.
big fan of surfex hd and auto-wash so certainly not against the brand. have just ordered some kkd purity x after reading Dean's comments below.
County detailing website is currently off-line , but will look again later to use your code 😉
Typical isn’t it, at a weekend too 😭
Yeah lol, great review, touch-on is so much better applied through the lance 👏 thankyou for doing both application methods 👍
No probs at all, glad you enjoyed it 🙏
