I was using chemical guys watermelon + purple power for kick and had such horrible residue results it was driving me mad. Sometimes the car looked worse after the wash. TOUCHLESS CHANGED MY LIFE!!!! And my customers love knowing it’s biodegradeable as they see it all over the driveway 🤪also advertised as non-corrosive to the metal that the rock chips in your paint have exposed!! Oddly my latest was cleaning all my wheel arches and wheel decomntamination (plus ceramic coating), vactan'd the small rust spots then blue hammerite over them. Pulled the plastic covers out of the front etc to find mine were in a similar state. 1:10 BH surfex HD I drenched the rear carpets and sprayed all the fornt arches then blasted them out with the power washer. Then drenched them again but left it in the carpet and then left it to soak in and dry over night. Then the next day BH autofoam, leave for five minutes, then powerwashing it all again in the morning it came up so well. Ive been looking at permanent undersealing options and the BH range specifically but a bit confused as to which I actually need. Its an area I've seen nothing really about on YT detailing channels other than the latest dry ice cleaning. All good for YT no good for me. Perhaps we could get your thoughts on those anti-rust/maintenance BH products one day? (you did the corrosion test as part of your snowfoam shoot out I went back and watched recently.)

Here in Florence, Italy in March Winter is pretty much over!!! Why is it that you never test Griots products? Maybe because they are not readily available in Europe? Do you like them? You’re not supposed to use a torque wrench to remove lugs. A breaker bar will do just fine.

    • @ForensicDetailing
      @ForensicDetailing  Před 3 lety

      its not a coating as such, it will stop flash corrosion. its like a rust inhibitor. It will help though but with my car it needs proper like undercariage resto.

      surfex HD APC mate wet microfiber towels and surfex at low concentration just to wipe things over. gloss piano use very clean cloths light pressure. avoid buffing on it unless it needs it.

    • @ForensicDetailing

    If you only have usual auto foam, add about an inch of surfex in to foam bottle with hot water and it'll also blitz the dirt away.
    Been doing exact same job on my car recently in preparation to spray underside with Bilthamber dynax UB 😁
    Might be good idea for the old beemer John especially where floor come in contact with road looking at underside in video 👍
