I would usually use AG polish, followed by AG Extra Gloss Protection. Does this product replace both of those? Seems like it polishes/ fills and seals?

Hello i used to be a car valeter and used to work for Vauxhall Arnold Clark Kia Porsche you know the main car dealers and never mastered the skill off how to use the buffer and what pads to use on clear lacquer new paint i have bought G3 Premium Abrasive Cutting Compound and G3 Wax 500ml Detailing can you tell me what pads to use on new paint with out ruining it and where can i buy the pads from for a buffering machine

Gardea fan here, fed up of Hozelock connections leaking and being cheap. Got the Gardena floor mount reel. Been brilliant! Just pull, and then a yank to auto reel back. Premium Gardena gun tho leaked (silly me left it outside in frost)

Bought the new BH touchless 5 litre for 25€. Nothing beats BH products. Touchless all the way for me.

Very helpful. If you were going to do this as a business you’d want as few products as possible for cost efficiency and replication of washes. If detailing your own car there’s more room to swap stuff about.

Just use a pump sprayer... That's what I do when I'm playing with the test panel. That way, you can have a fine mist, and the pressure of the water isn't having any effect on the cleanbility of the product your testing.

Hozelock are great for a few days but as soon as it sees sunlight or frost then it starts to leak. IMHO they are designed for a short life so you buy them again and again. Great as a 100th birthday present however.

I can recommend the Gardenia wall mounted reel. Had it about 3 years, fitted to an outside wall so exposed to all weathers. No handle to crank, just pull the hose to release the ratchet and it self-winds. Had to replace the cheapo Hozelock gun, but that maybe due to being lazy and letting it drag on the path when re-winding the hose.

Off topic slightly Jon but id like to advise people not to use auto stop or aqua stop hose fittings with your pressure washer as it causes pressure build up in the machine with subsequent part failures . AVA definitely mention it with their machines.

It's a passion. When you get to lay your hands on one of these, you can't help but feel the passion for it. I'd love a GT3 in Paint to sample Olsoblue, satin wheels and all the other essential options you'll need. DIY detail interior ceramic is a nice coating for the inside- especially the media screen. It definitely reduces finger prints by around 80%. Centre lock wheels on this one, that's what they're called. I think they're over 400Nm on ya torque wrench I'd definitely have picked the leather steeling wheel over the Racetech, I find it gets sticky and smelly if you drive without gloves. Leather feels lovely and cleans up well. What a beaut 💥

Shampoo was good and both smelled great. But I found the snowfoam very poor for cleaning properties.

Another CZcamsr called tino has all the coloured snowfoam you can buy, which maybe better value? He has a ceramic snowfoam lsp, which is fantastic and beads like crazy......woukd love you to review that!!! Great video.

I mix concentrated screenwash with de-ionised water. No furring or scaling from the minerals and impurities found in tap water. Plus the added benefit of less watermarks. 👍

To explain abit about its cleaning power. Autobrites coloured snowfoams are usually part of there SuperFoam range which doesn’t have as much cleaning power as there MagiFoam range which is there snowfoam with great cleaning power and up to 30 minutes dwell time.

My hozelock hose and reel have lasted 23 years so far and still going strong. It's mounted to the inside of the shed door, so not exposed to the elements which I guess has helped.

Being older and cynical is a right of passage. I need smelt this product at Japfest but wasn't remotely interested as I knew all the things you've mentioned. Keep using it Jon, draw them in and educate them. No harm in making people aware of all of the good stuff out there 🫡

£16 and doesn't clean very well. Just what we want to use on a car. I shall give it a miss. Great for your views, and great for use, because we know not to buy it.

I remember watching one video a few years back with a pink foam and it left stains on the engine cover of a Ferrari and that was only drips getting into the nooks and crannies

I’m wedded to the Hozelock system but upgrade all the fittings to their metal professional range, a lot more robust than the standard plastic connectors.
