Today we are on Yamaha's newly updated MT07! Let's see if it's still as much of a wheelie machine as the last one I rode was.

I donât think Iâll ever be able to see a FZ or MT 07 without thinking of yours love it you did awesome building it

What are those?
@@Sasukeultimate89 tires I believes.
@@bluevsred415 yeah I googled them looked like off road tires to me atleast
I love how he is saying little bike while I'm still on a 125cc đ„Čđ
I think he means weight wise. And only you can get a bigger better bike and move on to bigger better wheelies
I know what you meanđ„
Cute
Like a kitten.
The struggle is real
âThe wind is pretty badâ
*Also going 100mph*
lol, IKR ! He does that alot .
Bought this about 3 weeks ago as my first bike after taking the MSF. About to hit 600 miles and take it in for the first service and I absolutely adore it so much. I really don't think I could have picked a better first bike for me. If you guys are on the fence about getting this as your first bike, I say absolutely go for it new or used. Yes, it is pretty powerful for a beginner but as long as you practice self-control, it's not so fast that you are going to squid missile yourself into a tree the second you leave the dealership lol
"Squid Missile" is solid gold.
Man similar experience. I took the MSF and when the paperwork was final and I sat on this thing for the first time driving it off the lot it was so much fun but absolutely terrifying. Finally got it home and ripped through 2300 miles in 3 weeks. Not looking back and thinking about selling my truck lol. Just need rain gear.
I think the mt07 is the perfect blend of budget, hooliganism, and daily rider worthiness.
Donât forget style, value, comfort, economy, quality and reliability. It has it all, minus a too soft suspension, but at least they improved that a bit.
Petition to get chase to do a first ride of the 2021 MT09SP
He did two days ago!
@@aliayan1133 I did see that â€ïž
Your wish has been granted
@@drnapalm7605 so proud of Yamaha just loaning him the bikes, cuz they know he makes quality content
I just got one new from the dealership a week ago
I'm loving it !!!
Jealoussss broo
As for fit on bigger riders, Iâm 6â2â with a 32â inseam and this bike fits me fine.
6'2" with 34" inseam and I also do just fine. But I may eventually get a slightly taller seat.
Love my mt07. Never get bored riding it but definitely going to be buying something larger for longer highway rides. Still keeping my mt07 as well cause this thing is just a blast to ride.
One of my favorite bikes been waiting for this video.
Dank Nooner bro! I love how excited you get immediately after that first wheelie!!
I have been riding HD's for years, put 100K miles on since 2014 on a 2003 Low rider and 2014 Street glide. Just ordered a 2022 MT 07 and I know I will not get bored of it like I did my 1984 Honda CM 400. back in the day.
Just bought am mt07 yesterday! Picking it up today and I'm so excited. My first bike.
Haven't watched you in awhile, Gratz on 1m subscribers! Last I checked you were in the 700k range! Keep going bro!
You get better every video you make!! Amazing
This was my first bike in 2016 and I still own it. Love it way too much! Highly recommend!!!
Cleanin her wheels watchin a C2W video as we speak! Have the same color-way as you brotha!
I had a 2014 FZ-07 for a few years and it was one of my all time favorite bikes even with 10 years riding experience too and owning a triumph street triple, Aprilia Tuono, Buell XB-12ss and a lot more. It's so much fun to ride it's ridiculous. The suspension is the only thing I found lacking but I found if you drop the forks in the triple clamp a bit it improves the turn in significantly and it's free. Doesn't affect the stability too much.
THE TRUE HOOLIGAN BIKE IS BACK BABY!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I looked. At That. Exact motorcycle a few months back
I pick mine in all black up at the end of July. Looking forward to it as my first bike
Have you gotten it yet?
Hows the bike???
@@imboredplzhelpme323 just got mine. Fucking phenomenal.
I received the same bike in july, it is amazing, every minute riding is like eating ice cream, pure joiy and excitement!
Nice opening reel!! Audio and visuals are crispy!!! Owwweeee
I've had a MT-07 for 5 years now. Can't be happier with it and you have to put an exhaust on this bike it sounds so deep and grumbley. Love the content as always OC.
How's the handling for the twisties? Wanting to be comfortable and still have a planted ride for the backroads
@@kboutdoors4599 Check out my uploads if you needs some backroad impressions, the XSR is basically the same as an MT-07 just some different cosmetics.. Handles backroads very well, you'll like it for this purpose!
I like the throw to the cam car. Def keep that for the future
Just got my 2021 MT09, these bikes
Just bought one today and love it. Seasoned rider.
First time watcher here. gotta say the music while looking at the bike did not need to go that hard holy cow i love it.
fantastic reveiw did it for me just gone and bought the same bike same colour thanks boys
Thatâs a really pretty bike, the color just pops
Finally!!!! Love the 07!!!!
This review sold me on a 21â MT07 . Great bike
I just got a Storm Fluo color scheme I pick it up in a few days I always buy used so Iâm a little nervous that I financed one but I just am in love with the look and Iâve owned many bikes and Iâve always leaned towards twins for my riding style of around town and for fun not long hauls or for my main transportation
I've had 10 motorcycles. I just got a 2021 mt07 and it is pretty fantastic. Enough power to be fun but not so much that it's straight to prison.
I think after I get an exhaust and tune it will be perfect.
Its not straight to prison if you jist keep going lol and if anything does happen get a lawyer and you wont see a day in prison. County jail for a few hours at most lol then no points no jail or prison time just community service
If you do the LCD flip kit for the MT10 dash, you'll get exactly the same black background with white text. I did it for my MT07 and it looks muchhhh better.

I have never wheelied a bike and don't think I would on a regular basis but I gotta say the idea of learning to do it is interesting.
Chase your videos are on par with all professional videos like serious production videos. It's like I'm looking at an actual Hollywood video quality.
I am 36years old. My first bike at 21 years old when I got the license was the dreambike 2000 Yamaha R1. Since that I have owned Ktm 690 duke, Ktm 640 LC4, honda grom, honda cb1000r, 2016 Yamaha Mt07. I own now a 2021 Mt07. Absolutely the best bike I have ever owned. It is so much fun. It is a wheelie machine. Love it sÄ MUCH
Iâm 34, haven owned even more bikes, all pretty different, including a 2015 FZ-07. I want the new one. Itâs the best in class by far and in many ways better than more expensive bikes. I have an SV650 now and some things about it are better than the MT-07, but itâs less comfortable and not as fun. Hoping to get a 2021 soon.
@@mindspinn311 you will love the new one. I think it is even better looking than the old one.
Chase a few weeks ago: "I'm a trained professional, this is my job don't do what I do."
Chase here: "I'm not a professional here's how you wheelie!"
Years later I realize my 2015 FZ-07 was one of my favorite bikes and I think itâs time to go back to one of these. That or NC750X because DCT and frunk for ultimate commuter.
I've had fast sportsbikes and for 99% of the riding I have done on them, it hasn't been at high speeds. For anyone who thinks they need a big bike to go fast needs to look realistically of the sort of roads they ride on, and the amount of traffic they have to negotiate, to realise that to have fun on a bike you don't need to be gojng fast. I'm getting on in years now, and I am not sure I I will have another bike (unless I take the trouble to put my Jota back together) but this MT07 would definitely be at the top of the list if I was in the market.
First bike I bought is a Fz-07 and I love it. Would love to ride a new one.
Thanks for the informative info
This is going to be my next bike
& yeah, I want to your journeys with my MT 07
Note Iâm going to be a new rider
Yahama.....never change the MT07, its a brilliant lil bike.
I love sound mt-07 videos, you are crazy my dreamđ„
Iâm 6â7 and ride a 2018 MT-07, itâs not as small as youâd think. Itâs quite comfy for bigger dudes
Someone let Chase know that Color Clusterz makes a kit for the MT10 that inverts the screen so it's white text on a black background.
Itâs sun activated on the newer bikes, my 2020 r1 switches to black at night
Need a video on that camera car setup! Great video!
Pretty much everyone starts out on a 125 around here (UK), but it's looking more and more like the MT-07 will be my second bike once I pass the unrestricted category
OC: I'm 45 and wheelies are not something I do regularly for fun. That being said, if a bike made it easier I might enjoy doing them more and it does perk my interest a little. I am getting to the point that I enjoy the low end torque more then the high end horse power.
Just went from an '18 Ninja 400 I bought new in May of 2018 as my first bike. To getting a '21 Z900 last Thursday. Thing is so enjoyable to ride, I can confidently carve through some corners, or I can go pretty quick in a straight line.
How is the z900 after 1 year? I have a z400 and im looking to either get the z900se or the mt-09
I am driving a z300 and next year i'l also considering mt09-z900 maybe mt07 but I drove a z650 today and kinda felt not powerful enough
I've been searching for over a year now, different make, and models. As a new rider, and review after review, I have made my decision. The Yamaha MT07 is the way I'm going to go. I just want something for summer commute, and maybe to take down the shore every now, and then.
Those micro movements with the camera were satisfying af
Im hoping my 2021 Mt-07 shows up today!!! Been waiting for a long time. Haha
Iâm pretty sure Iâve watched every first ride. And not a single bike has been more appealing to me than the MT-07 or MT-09.
Imagine an MT-07 with cruise control and lift control.
OC: Definitely like a bike that'll wheelie with ease. I already ride like a hooligan on my Daytona. Having done a test ride of the new MT07 when my gf got her MT03. I like the bike. Naked bikes aren't really my thing, I'll always want a sportbike over a naked. But it is tempting to pick up. Which is why I really want to test ride the R7 and see how that one handles.
The R7 rides like a dream!
@@MattMotoyt Then definitely need to get a test ride on one. Been so long since I owned a JDM bike.
@@Frank_Torre I have more fun and get more compliments on my 2019 MT-07 with Akrapovic full carbon exhaust, rear fender eliminator,' carbon fiber front cowl then I did on my unrestricted 2000 ZX-12R Ninja which was almost 2 x's more expensive & almost 2 x's as fast also!! $7,995 & $12,995. 135 mph & 195 mph respectively!
I took my '21 MT03 on the interstate doing 85mph with no problem...the 07 is even better.
I just bought the black one, pick it up tomorrow!!!!
Chase, you should order different color visors to match your test rides. The blue Ruroc visor would be fire with this bike.
Would suggest whenever possible. Riding the bike for the experience of the first ride. But also itâs to show the audience what the lights look like in a dark environment. It could be in a safe dark garage or parking lot.
Put my down payment back in March⊠still waiting on delivery of my raven black MT-07. Iâm pissed Iâve had to wait this long but itâll be worth it. Câmon Yamaha, make your deliveries to Virginia Beach already!!! đ€Ł
UPDATE:
Finally, my beautiful matte black 2021 MT-07 arrived yesterday! Hands down, without a doubt, I know itâs going to be an awesome, fun bike. So far only got to put 26 miles on it (weather rolled in) but I can tell this thing is going to be worth every penny.
Btw, great review, Chase.
Awesome video
Funny enough, last week the Sales at MM Roswell recommended this exact bike
I love this bike
OC: Iâm weird. I have two supermotos and have never wheelied either of them. I get my high by carving it up on them. To each their own though!
I currently have a MT07 and iâve wheelied many times just by accident đ€Ł first gear is wild at times
B: Hate the new look for the yamaha nakeds, but the mt07 is growing on me slowly.
27:25 Only thing it needs is a couple steps more preload and rebound on the rear shock along with upgraded fork springs and preload adjusters to make the suspension much better. Upgraded rear shock makes it a whole new bike.
MT-07 SP with better suspension, better brakes & Quickshifter would sell so much
@@robbertzeeman Desirable, but it would be more expensive than an R7 or MT-09. Not much demand for a $10k MT-07.
OC-I like two wheels and this ride may be on my short list when I pull the trigger to get one.
The perfect bike!
OC: THis bike is awesome, and the black/red combo or all black look mean too (the stock exhaust is comical though...). FUn to ride too! If I could get another bike, THIS would be the one. Buddy's got one that he made into a bit of a rod trip (windscreen, bags, and of course, new exhaust)
Canât wait to buy a fz or mt07 next summer...wedding this year is taking too much of my money to buy one now as much as I want one now
"i don't know if this thing can do highway speeds comfortably" I look over at my tw200, which i commute with daily on 65 mph roads, i think it'll do, lol.
Cool bike! Just bought one
OC: If I wanna do whoolies easily; I'll hop on my dirt bike. I want my street bikes to have the 'right' balance. Not too easy to wheelie, but not spinning the rear first either. It should be turning as much of the power as possible into acceleration.
You can do full throttle acceleration on the mt07 without wheelies. I hate wheelies, and have a 2021 mt07.
I always tell the prospective new riders around me that what makes a motorcycle more fun than a car, very generally speaking, isnât just sitting on it in a straight line, but the changing of directions and speed. Movement. As I test ride bikes for me after 15 years of riding Iâm asking myself what would be most fun in the scenarios I use it for, but fun usually doesnât involve just sitting there at a constant speed in a straight line . . .
Thats why miatas and abarths are praised so highly. Well the people that actually drive them lol
â@@theyweredeadwhenigotthere1391the issue with abarths is theyre uglier than smart cars and fiats are some of the most unreliable cars out there
Doesn't even deserve to be compared with a Miata, it's a night and day difference
Oh no the WHITE TRUCK AGAIN LOL I love my 2017 Yamaha mto7 I dumped the stock exhaust and got a aftermarket exhaust and Flash tuned it and loving it
Wheelies baby!!
Love the MT07 simply for a wheelie machine lol we are all children at heart! -OC
Uploaded the day after I bought my first bike (MT 07 2018 mod).. Cool!
hey Chase, been a while, nice to see you back on a MT 07 is it sooth though? ;-)
Love you chase your vids are fire you and yummy are sooo funny together you make my day â€ïžđ
Bruh
I live in Georgia and I ride this bike on the highway all the time. I can do 70 and comfortably pass cars at 80 or 90 if I need to.
Mt-07 is such a great bike. It's certainly a smaller bike but it's so much fun and put an exhaust on it?!....sounds like a little harley
Can't wait for R7
I absolutely loved my xsr700 but made it look like a grom with my 6â2â 210lb frame. Would love to get a cp2 in something else somedayâŠmaybe a tenere?!
Would love to see a first ride on the new Indian Chief.
Please do the Aprilia Tuono 660 im thinking about picking it up and wanted to hear your thoughts on it.
I really like the glamour shots what camera do you use?
give em what they want.... what like an actual exaust sound(ackro bro!)
Bike of the year.
OC - Have great difficultys getting the front wheel of my FZ6-S2 to leave the ground!
That in car camera car is pretty cool đ
Incredible editing btw. I keep expecting to see the cam car, but it's never there.
If you get a chance, a first ride on a 2021 zx10r would be awesome
YOooooo 1min squad :D
Finally!
Can you add how the headlights are in the night time. It would really help
OC: Yes!
Either I missed something or Chase all of the sudden got a LOT better at whoolies????? That was a nice little wheelie Chase!
I kno right i been with this channel from his r6s and chase got real good with the whoolies
@@venomulimited Lol same, I remember the Ducati incident from way back. đ
One of the best beginner bikes. I know because I started on one!
Yup so coool dude.
I have the same bike as my first bike! All I could ask for. I donât Understand the wheelie thing but made me even more happier about my 1st bike
Me too. Plan on getting R1 or Gsxr 1000 next.
Easiest way to describe the MT-07 is the CBR600F Hurricane without fairings - the jack of all trades motorcycle - suitable for street, track, touring, and riding the twisties. Suitable for newbies and experienced riders. Easy on insurance. Easy on the pocket book. Easy on your body.
That's odd. I owned the original hurricane in 1987 and just bought a 2022 mt 07. Yes I love it.
Thanks B
Chase you need to brighten the thumbnail up more, like the one thumbnail you did for the Cb1000
