#Nintendo #NintendoSwitch - Hry
I’ll be ok with LCD. But it is a bit annoying knowing they’ll release an OLED model later. The OLED Switch screen is beautiful.
I think you're correct. Marketing would suggest a launch model with the LCD, and then an upgraded OLED model after, just like the current switch.
I really, really hope they dont wait until the end of the console's life cycle to release an OLED version
@@mikeb497 Well you hope wrong mr wage slave. The japiew has to get his money
At least I hope they put a good quality IPS LCD, there's some that while ofc not on the level of an OLED, they are not too far off with impressive contrast for an LCD but they seem to be rare as most OEMs and stuff cheap out
They are doing it so that they can have forced obsolescence, 2 to 3 years after a 'new' oled will emerge. Vote with your wallet and don't buy one until it's oled
I just want faster load times and more reliable controllers
Don't know if the Nintendo Switch cartridges (technically they're Game Cards) are faster than discs, but they're not in the same level compared to how fast games load on the PS5, and they don't function the same way as cartridges worked in previous Nintendo consoles. In regards to the possible stick drifting problems, well that depends on the manufacturer, Nintendo gets it sticks from the same company that provides sticks for other consoles and even on bigger controller they began drifting the more people use them
That has nothing to do with cartridge vs cd@@pablocasas5906
@@pablocasas5906 but even when the game is downloaded on the switch consoles native memory it still loads slow
@@whiterunguard4717we'll see if Nintendo is going to implement some sort of fast-loading technology like their competitors, though I would't count on it
@@pablocasas5906ssd? That's the technology.
We also might forget: lcd screens have gotten better so it’s not like it’s the same screen as the first switch
True
I would not complain if the switch 2's screen is similar to the Playstation portals LCD screen.
Agreed. It likely won't be the really nice mini led though. Lower end oleds don't put out as good of pictures as higher end lcd these days. As long as they didn't use a really cheap lcd it should be pretty decent.
There’s no way Nintendo is using a high end LCD
I hope they put a nice one on it. The switch’s LCD screen is not impressive at all, even for 2017

I actually think we don’t get an official reveal until April and get a September release. You don’t kill first quarter sales and have the entire last quarter mostly for the switch 2. I bet they could sell out 10-20mil units in that time
Truth
Also they aint movin switch 2 units on tech alone. They will need strong lineup of launch titles to push the system. Sure it will have backward compatible switch 1 games but if theres no graphical enhancements for older titles it will be a tough sell
I feel like hitting a mass market price point is essential for the initial lineup. If they end up having a premium model alongside it, all the better, but I'd be okay trading it off for a larger screen if that's the only model.
For me there are 2 selling points. Backwards compatibility including the original switch cartridges and my joy cons working with the new system as well. When a set of joy cons are 80 dollars they had better work.
I doubt joycons will be backwards compatible since the new console will have a different form factor. At best they might be backwards compatible wirelessly, but I wouldn't count on it. Actual controllers are better than joycons with or without the grip anyway, and decent ones aren't that expensive. Also, the switch has awful ergonomics in handheld, so I personally would prefer a more ergonomic redesign of the joycons over backwards compatibility.
@@djjjjjd to each his own 😁
The person has a point the PS4 controller only works a certain way on the PS5 and the PS4 controllers cost around $75 to $80@@XtreemeX
If they didn't have that stuff backwards compatible that'd be such a dealbreaker. Now that the Steam Deck is a thing and handheld PCs are an option, it's harder to compete without it. Previous handheld consoles could get away without it because they were the only game in town, but now they're not. And with handheld PCs already having a bigger library than the Switch thanks to the lack of proprietary hardware and a library of games that spans decades, the last thing the Switch 2 needs is being unable to handle something as basic as previous generation hardware.
Another thing that makes joycon backwards compatibility unlikely is the fact that the switch doesn't have analogue triggers, because I think I can speak for most people when I say I hope the next console does.
Theres nothing wrong with a lcd display for a portable. The screen on the portal is just fine, dark games are a bit of a issue sometimes but overall lcd is solid.
LCD is trash
the portal is not a portable console...
They never said it was portable
@@jesusbarrera6916you understand those are separate points right? Not the same thing.
@@adamothman1124LCD is far from trash. This is some zoomer 1st world stuff.
People are already complaining that it might ‘only’ be PS4 graphics equivelant. Nevermind that most 1000 dollar PC handhelds still do not hit full current gen console visuals. Nintendo needs to sell this thing at console pricing while cramming as much as they can into it. It’s the same reason the OG Steam Deck had an LCD screen and Nintendo could do something similar (which would line up with the Deck’s PS4 Pro level graphics) at around 500 bucks. The Deck OLED model starts at almost 600 and that’s just too much, and we know Valve takes a loss on these as is which Nintendo has historically not wanted to do with their consoles the way XBox and Sony might. So to get that price point they need LCD. They can sell the OLED later as an ‘upgrade’. And they can get more hardware in it that isn’t the screen for the price point. It’s a handheld. People are being unrealistic in their list of demands for it and it just cannot meet them all and still be console pricing.
So heres the thing with how nintendo differs with valve. They are selling a console handheld that only plays games. Valve is selling games for a mini pc thats shaped like a handheld. If nintendo were to make a mini pc like handheld it would make it easier for ppl who pirate to crack their games. Also no profit to be made when your biggest income is from sellin the games
As someone who plays on both docked and handheld, no oled screen is bumming to me
There are some really high quality IPS LCD screens these days. The one on the original swich is 7 years old now so of course technology has move on significantly since then. I agree it'll be a downgrade but I don't see it being anywhere near as bad as the current non-oled switch
@Puppet_masterUK it doesn't really matter how good the LCD screens are now nintendo won't use a good one.
Same, my tv isn’t OLED so games like Metroid dred look so good on handheld
I'd prefer a quality LCD over OLED
I won't buy one without the LED screen
Thank you for uploading this video! Happy Saturday
I always figured going back to LCD to reduce costs on the initial model was the obvious move. OLED is noticably better, don't get me wrong, but I don't think most consumers care nearly as much as enthusiasts.
The thing is, the early adopters of the potential switch 2 will be the enthusiasts. Most will stick with their original switch, especially with the probability that it'll get support for another two years
I do agree it's the obvious move, but it's just a bit disappointing, as an OLED owner I don't wanna go back to LCD. Hopefully we get an OLED version at launch as apposed to later down the line
I have to disagree. Most people who have seen my switch oled in person were amazed at the visuals.
exactly!
@@supersonicultra2amazed doesnt mean they cared as much as you do
Was it better looking , yes . Was it to the point I needed to have one , no .
Let's keep in mind, that new LCD can be way way better than the 2017's OG Switchs LCD.
Also it makes sense, they probably want to keep the initial release cheap to build a install base. And a simultaious release wouldn't make sense, since nintendo would probably have to design the internals of the systems in a significatly different way to include an OLED.
It doesn't change Internals. The only issue with OLED is it consumes a little more power and it's a lot more expensive.
The only reason not to have an OLED version at first is they need millions, they won't know which version is most important and it would affect supply chain, so it's better to optimize supply chain and cost issues in the first year until they get a picture of how much chance they can take and know they can afford to split production and set up a second supply chain. Nintendo isn't like sony where they are used to having 100s of products they bring together in their system.
@@waltermh111
I heard somewhere that they would need a design that is significantly different enough, that it would not make sense to release both OLED and LCD at the same time (from the start)
But thank you for the explanation
@mr.random3943 Why would a design have to be that different?
There isn't any difference in design between the switch lcd and oled.
The difference between the two screen types is only on the microscopic level
@@waltermh111
I know that the way different panels are lit and get color differs between different panel types. Ithought maybe an OLED was thicker ... but then again, I am no expert.
OG Switch still has a great display imo.
This 8 inch screen seem to be exactly what is in the playstation portal. Can we be 100% sure on this report as it seems based on manufacturers not on who is buying. In fact every report going back to last year could mean the portal rather than the switch.
No, we can not. This particular bloomburg author likes to inject his own theories and speculation into his sources mouth and present it as if that's what his sources said. His penchant for this was a main driving force of the switch pro hoax.
The source, omdia, is behind a paywall, so none of use can check and see if what he's claiming they said, was actually they said.
Just because its 8 inches doesnt mean its the same manufacturer or the same screen. Although iphones use samsung screens ive heard.
An accurate laminated IPS screen is completely fine.
I don't know if that's what it'll be, as long as it's NOT like the non OLED Steam Deck screen.
I go from an OLED to a good IPS LCD screen all the time so the difference is not that jarring, imo.
I game on a ips 1440p screen on my pc only cause i prefer higher frames than having 4k resolution. Doubt nintendo will give me 165 hertz screen tho.
LCD sucks vs OLED, but the price I’m sure Nintendo wants to hit doesn’t allow them to use OLED. I’d pay that higher price point however most people I’m sure wouldn’t.
I wouldn't say it sucks vs oled. Oled is a little better sure but not so good lcd suddenly sucks in comparison. Mostly depends on the quality of the lcd you're comparing it to.
@@jimmycarpenter6612 I totally agree to you. Also it appears LCD is a little more durable/resistant and easier too exchange - makes sense for a console that many smaller kids want to use too to focus a little more on these things.
@HustlerHorstRuediger exactly. I'll never understand how people will get a new piece of technology and all of sudden anything that was around before just sucks lol. 4k released and suddenly people acted as if playing something at 1080p is just not reasonable because it looks so terrible. Something releases and loads .5 seconds quicker? The old one sucks now lol.
I'm fine with my LCD SteamDeck. Thanks very much.
@@jimmycarpenter6612no, it quite literally does suck in comparison. The exact opposite of what you say is true lmao. It is so much better that going LCD is in fact an enormous mistake.
I love OLED but personally never bothered to upgrade my Switch from the launch version as I always thought the 2 would be just around the corner... they've taken their sweet time. Also don't use my Switch enough in handheld to justify it if its the only upgrade.
same. i play almost exclusively in docked mode. im fine with an LCD, especially if they use that money to give us 12GB of RAM.
@@thomassantiago4084 Yep don't really care about the colours looking better if it can't run its games at an acceptable standard anyway. Also you only get OLED for 50% of use cases anyway, if you have an OLED TV / Monitor you already have that. I see the value if you're a primary handheld user rather than a mixed or docked one.
The oled is excellent
The PlayStation portal screen is absolutely beautiful (when it’s connecting), especially compared to the original Switch. It’s like night and day. So while I’ll always prefer OLED, I don’t think this is the downgrade people think it is
I feel Nintendo should pull the page out from the Gameboy book. The jump from the original/color to the gba was much more than I ever could have asked for. I still was gifted and also bought gbc/gb games well after the GBA hit the shelves. I could see myself investing into the new model and still being able to buy and enjoy games from the old library and look forward to new releases.
I'm happy to wait for an OLED model. It's going to be ridiculously hard to get the new hardware at launch anyway. Scalpers are gonna have a field day.
If they make 14-16 million then no.
i thought they would do something about scalpers after the PS5 crises, it seems nothing changed over there

And you can’t just have a blanket ban on buying and reselling aftermarket goods. I’d get into the specifics as to why that’s a slippery slope but it seems obvious. Honestly the best counter, as with the “ps5 crisis,” is to have supply meet demand. Otherwise resellers will always exist.
I’m fine with LCD. Just used the regular switch with that anyways. So I’m going from LCD…to LCD. Keep the cost reasonable out of the gate. Can throw out an OLED later.
Have a Vita. I get that people love OLED. But it’s not that big a deal.
I’m far more interested in how much power it’ll have, physical carts being used, etc.
Yeah but why waste money on one off the bat that isn't cutting edge? You'll probably have to sell the old one at a loss and get the OLED model. Just being real I can pass until they have an OLED. There's many benefits to OLED.
Oled dont matter if you play docked. I have an ips 1080p lcd on my rog ally and i play palworld. It looks fine to me and i play on minimum brightness setting to conserve battery life
As someone who doesn't care about handheld, I just want to know : Can it run Hyrule Warriors at more than 8 frame per second.
As someone who never upgraded to an OLED, I’m very excited to see what improvements might still be made between 2017 and 2024.
Ive gotten 2 og switch 1 switch lite by the time i got oled switch and its true i refuse to go back
I want a dedicated 4k 60fps console with NBA Jam/Hangtime, Road Rash, Cruisin USA, and Ridge Racer.
Maybe buy a buy ps5? Your in the wrong console market if you want those
Could be a miniled display?
Possibly. We'll have to wait and see.
I’ve played my original switch in handheld mode for about 2 hours (both of those hours were in March 2017). When I got my OLED model I played in handheld mode for a bit just because I was impressed with the screen. I was so impressed I finally got around to getting a Sony OLED tv. I haven’t played handheld since I upgraded my TV.
I would be interested to know what percentage of people never (or hardly ever) take advantage of the Switch’s main feature? I just don’t like using joy cons in general. I know there are third party gadgets that connect the switch tablet to a pro controller, but I’ve never cared enough to try one.
I only used handheld mode once when I took the switch with me on holiday, but I imagine many people who are not alone in a household use the handheld mode

1:00 To "doubling in shipments" means there is something already in production but doubling it. Doubling what? Are they using the same screen as the PlayStation Portal? Could this be a Nintendo Portal? Streaming only?
I think that the system will not be revealed at the direct, but a flash announcement will be made and then bam the system will be released in mid September, be sold out going in to October then a restock in November going to the holidays. In my household me and my brother play on his Switch mostly in *TV/docked mode,* so no we don't care about the screen type, just *improved performance* is all we want from Nintendo's next system (in addition to the return of home screen themes, eShop music and being able to back-up our saves locally using a USB flash drive).
Exactly. I'd rather the money go to power and features like DLSS, Ray Reconstruction and Frame Gen
7:13 I’d say it has to do with it not “switching” my argument for why it should have is that yes the controllers don’t come off, but how much $ did they save not including that USC function to dock? Do you think including that anyway and forcing Switch Lite players to buy joycons or Pro-Controllers and a dock to play on TV would have made up in margin if it would have still had this function?
I don't mind the LCD screen, it means that it will have a low & more affordable price. Also, a hybrid with a OLED screen is more expensive & Nintendo needs to sell the new hybrid with the LCD screen to be successful from the start/from the get go.
LCD is ok to lessen the price if its OLED price problem and if you play it longer the screen will be a problem
Maybe 10 years ago. Burn-in is not a realistic issue for modern OLED displays and hasn't been for years.
@@SilverDreamweaver This is false. Burn-in still occurring for people and in test and LG still has the statement that it's not an issue with "normal" viewing. Still an issue but takes longer now.

@@user-ds8rj2vc4v It depends on use and other factors so yes it can still be an issue. If you don't play multiplayer games with yellow/red hud items then its not an issue. If you don't play the same rpg for 500+ hours like some then no it's not an issue.
OLED burn in isn't a simple yes/no issue. People have already had burn in on the previous model and that model hasn't been around the entire generation smh. Clown
Been using my lg oled for 3 yrs no burn in. Most ppl dont use their tv for 10 yrs, maybe 5? About to upgrade to an 8K oled tv once the price starts coming down
I can't go back after OLED. But then again, I have such a huge Switch backlog that I don't mind waiting with buying a Switch 2 OLED either. So hey it all works out.
im gonna try my absolute best to wait and see if they do an oled version later if not right away. I still have a launch day switch so what is a little more waiting.
So I see people changing lcd screens to old on the steam deck. Could the same be said when the switch 2 comes out we could possibly change screens on the Nintendo switch 2 that would be interesting 🤔
Thats cause ppl are dumb.. sure steam deck lcd 540p is bad but 1200p oled is ever worse the pixel density is bad and you get lower frames than the lcd
I wonder if the LCD screen will handle HDR well, given that the switch 2 was also rumoured to support that? Seems like an OLED would better be suited for that type of content, but maybe they'll release a premium device again.
Welcome back …. To Speculation Wave
As long as the new LCD is up to par with the current market's LCD's, then it should be a decent upgrade especially with the extra size compared to both the OG Switch and the OLED. Nintendo had better allow 1080p on handheld though lmao. I'm really hoping for 1440p 60fps (at the least) on all, or most, games for docked mode.
Hope there will be a stationary version that is cheaper.
I didn't use the portability because you can't see anything anyway when outside.
The screen brightness is not enough
I would prefer a smaller OLED to a 8" LCD. But here is to hoping they have a quality LCD. Maybe they can get an 8" display as vibrant as the Analogue Pocket's seem to be.
I don't think it needs to be full 1080p but I would like to see some kind of increase in resolution maybe 800p or 900p would be good
I would be more than happy with 900p portable and 1440p docked
Why the actual fuck you don't think it needs to be 1080p? A 180 dollar xiaomi phone from 4 years ago has better resolution than the fucking switch
I think it’s 1080p as 8” 1080p is more common parts for android tablet.
One thing is they might choose LCD instead of OLED because of VRR don’t work well with OLED.
800p matches Deck and is enough for that size
If true I definitely agree that theyll do this to charge more for a later model. But I feel they'll overcharge for the LCD too which will makr thr OLED even worse so yeah not good.
I believe that the next model will have a chunckier version of the "joycons". Personally I do not mind the LCD, and imoroved LCD will be great to enjoy for my travel days.
LCD screens have definitely developed in picture quality since 2017 (or whatever year the switch dropped) to compete with what we currently have in our oled displays.
But muh blacks!!!111!!1!
If it's going to be 8 inches then they need to bump up the resolution to 1080p. The Switch OLED's screen size is basically as big as you can get for a 720p screen before you start to be able to make out individual pixels.
If this is true, though, then I'll be disappointed. A 720p, 6.5 inch screen is perfectly fine for a handheld, and targeting a lower resolution will only allow for better battery life and better performance. 1080p is honestly a bit excessive for a machine like this.
I can live with LCD for handheld mode, but 720p in 2023 is a joke. 1080p 60hz would be the minimum and it would look fine
I hope the sound is upgraded. LCD is fine though 👍
This kind of feels like it will be the same screen that’s on the PS portal which is a pretty nice screen. And hopefully it is.

if it is coming this year they better announce it soon, otherwise they wont have time to promote it before launch, and that would be a major mistake, at least if they plan to launch it before christmas, which would be a not so good time to launch it.
If it keeps the costs reasonable for the base switch it’s the right move. I don’t know what the cost differences for the screen are though.
It is also tough to know exactly what kind of lcd they would be using. It'll be better than the og Switch no matter what. How much better is the question.
I feel obligated from a lack of sleep to remark on how close to on time I am for watching this video. Usually I watch this show in the evening.

I mostly play on my television, id definitely prefer as much performance upgrades as they can. I wish they would just go crazy and make a full on console again.
The hybrid form factor is a big part of the Switch's popularity. So i hope they just have a better switch, personally
@mega_ferret6359 if I were you I'd get used to hybrids and handhelds taking over the market. It's going to get increasingly more difficult to put out a standalone console each generation and once you break the $600 threshold, most people just move to PC.
I think this will also be the case for Sony as well, cause the price of a PS6 if not a hybrid or dockable handheld is going to get pricey for consumers and they will lose a huge market share to PC. Gamers that want standalone consoles are getting older and older and the shift is definitely heading to mobile/handhelds/hybrids now

I cannot imagine why launching with two models would be a bad idea given Sony and Microsoft have done so; price an LCD model at 379 and OLED at 449

I have a fairly old Switch Lite. The control stick has some minor issues, the right shoulder buttons both have occasional issues as well, and of course the screen is just pretty small (although I dont actually mind the size. just missing TV gaming). Because of this, i am thinking about buying an OLED, but with the Switch 2 rumors, I dont want to buy one only to then either sell it for Switch 2 or just flat out not get the console. I suppose if I get one soon, I'll have enough time to actually enjoy it before replacing it...or I could just not upgrade. There's still tons of Switch titles I havent had the chance to play. Decisions, decisions.
The OLED is pretty nice if you play mostly in handheld, you would be disappointed. Plus no one actually knows when switch 2 is coming nor the launch line up
One good reason to stick with lcd would be VRR. There are challenges for VRR on an oled in a portable package. Oled laptops with VRR were shown for the first time at CES this year.
What’s VRR
Variable Refresh Rate @@slimb0b

LTPO already goes from 1 hz to 120 hz. So VRR does not really depends on LCD. Besides, Nintendo Switch is far closer to mobile tech than laptop. You would need to see what's available there instead of laptop supply chain.
@@sharpconeLTPO is kind of different from VRR, as it scales up or down to a new fixed refresh rate (1, 30, 40, 60, 120, etc). VRR is dynamic and will change constantly to match the signal of the source, games in general.
Super Switch just makes sense!
I think 400 dollars is already too much. Inflation or not. So it better be worth it if it is that price.
Yep. It better be considerably faster and the joystick problem better be solved. I will not be buying day one. Not dealing with scalpers or day one bugs.

This is super interesting. I have to wonder how many people out there are like me, who never upgraded to the new switch (I have an OG Mario Odyssey Switch), who'll be upgrading directly to the new LCD, or wait for an OLED model.

Keep the 720p in handheld mode if you want but make it stable, stop with that dynamic resolution downscaling (although stable 1080p would be best), and focus on pushing 60 fps. That's all I want.
I dont mind buying both day one and another one later for OLED or Zelda theme. Chances are Ill want one for custom firmware anyways.
OLED is like Nintendo's pro version upgrade mid gen. I'm cool with the LCD as long as we get more frames lol
Wouldn’t be surprise they announce it in Pokemon day since it’s at the end of February
There's also a decent slice of players who upgraded to the OLED a profit Nintendo may not have seen otherwise, along with anyone who maybe didn't care about OLED, but still got the dock fire the direct connection to the internet.
It wouldn't shock me if we get an OLED revision for Switch 2.
The current Nintendo Switch (the red box) has an LCD screen - only the OLED model has an LCD screen - so...not really a change?🤷♂
Why not QLed instead of OLed?
Technically that's a type of LCD, so it's not impossible
I really like the looks of OLED panels but I won't be mad if they ship the Super Switch with a LCD panel.
Like... I play most of the time docked anyway, so why should I bother?
March to November is 8 months. Switch was revealed (less than) 5 months before it launched. I still think an April reveal with end of September (Q2) launch makes more sense
Nah closer to christmas so october
The way I look at this is even if they release the first Switch 2 with LCD screen, it still possible for Nintendo to release a more premium version OLED screen during Switch 2's life cycle, another factor is the software line up, when you see first and third party games like : Elden Ring, Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy VII remake, Tekken 8, Xenoblade Chronicles X remaster / X2 , the next Super Mario Odyssey, Dragon's Dogma 2, Monster Hunter Wilds, Red Dead Redemption 2, Granblue Fantasy Relink etc. all slate for release on the more graphically powerful Nintendo Switch 2 in the native form, not to mention all the possible improvement coming to the original Switch games, I think that will give the players a reason to be more forgiving when it comes to the LCD screen, that my take on it.

The question is: Do I buy the first drop? OR Should I wait for a themed switch like zelda or metroid?
Seeing as how I still have the launch Swich, I do not care if it is an LCD screen. It does the job for me just fine.
I don't mind the hardware using LCD screen as long as it can run my battle network legacy collection....
Question would you rather have high res OLED with ok battery life or Low res LCD with phenomenal battery life?
If base model is LCD then I’ll be waiting for the OLED. I bought the base model switch and although I really wanted the OLED, I just couldn’t justify buying it when I already had a perfectly functional console. Not gonna miss out on the nicer screen for this generation.
What if it is a MicroLED instead of a OLED or LCD.
So they can sell you the oled version later
is it worth buying nintendo switch OLED or wait for switch 2?
I'd just wait. The Switch is 7+ yrs old now so spend the 400 towards a system that will play both generations
True, yet I bought a powkiddy x55, it's not a switch, but it's not bad 😀
This has me debating whether I want to keep using my OLED Switch and simply wait for a more premium model to release in a few years...
To be fair, current gen LCDs are better than the LCD used by the original Switch. Also, if you have issues with the screen on the actual system you can always dock it and play it on a TV of your choosing.
As for the Switch 2, I'd guess that at the very least they will opt for a 1080p 60 hz display that is bigger than the current Switch OLED screen size.
Isn't this from like 2 days ago?
I don't see them not selling an oled model later on as well. I have a Switch oled, the screen looks niiiice. It'd be cool if it could dock on the switch 1 dock and use old controllers and they sold just the unit alone.
I'm definitely gonna wait for an OLED version to come out before I buy it, especially since the first iteration will probably launch with a bunch of technical issues just like the last switch
OG Switch the tablet itself is perfectly fine.
it's okay and it might be the same size like the wii u gamepad, even if oled is not in the launch.
If Nintendo are hoping to cut costs with an LCD screen, i wish they wouldve released a Switch and even release Switch 2 with a 'no screen' option for those like myself who always play docked.
They could then minus the need for joycons too AND a dock, that would be real low entry point.
It could be mini LCD
It’s wild that they’re going with LCD but I understand why, they’ll get more sales with that lower price point but they should at least have an option to buy the OLED next gen switch and pay that extra.
I think nintendo will do just as sony and Microsoft when they released 2 versions of their system. But for Nintendo I think they'll release a LCD switch2 that will have dual cartridge compatibility with current gen and switch2 game cartridges. And along side that release a all digital version with oled screen.
