I loved the "whoa-ho-ho" right when it started sputtering I knew exactly the feeling. Worked on my kid's VR swap and got it "running" but only on 3 cylinders. My kid was totally demoralized. Spent several hours looking through it, and found that the big engine harness lug had cracked and wasn't seating fully, leading to 50% harness disruption. Seated it in fully and saw the sensors show up in VAG-COM properly. Then waited an entire day for him to come back and fire it up. There was some woo-hooing that went on. Glad you perservered.
Ya when it’s taken a toll on your sole you can’t help but get emotional when they stumble and fire. Seems cliche but this was absolutely genuine!! Lol, again thank you for the support as always!! Much much appreciated! Cheers

Great work as always 👏 must have been driving you mad but the reaction to it starting is what makes it worthwhile 😁 when my 16v mk2 was in for rebuild (resurrection) at my mates work (bus yard) when taking the rack off the subframe the mounting feet on the rack sheared off 🤦♂️ so the new pipes i bought for it were redundant and i had to swallow that cost , plus a new rack and surcharge from vw heritage here in the UK 🙃 worth it in the end though and i have a pair of hard pipes in stock for either of my mk2s 😂
