In response to the "looks like a gun" negative:
isn't that the point? The "Pro" line to cater to older demographic to not look so quirky... even the Mk2 looks more realstral/tactical with the picatiny rail and the sleeker profile that looks closer to an AR15. The only saving grace is that it's larger so the bright color is more obvious.
Also the smaller/ realsteal form factor makes it unique and seems to be one of the main points in making it. 1st time to actually make a actual pistol sized blaster that fits more than 1 round internally with higher then nerf FPS standards8. I'm pretty sure that aspect drives the hype on this thing.

Yes but it's a worrying trend. China banned gel ball blasters because they looked realistic, and foam flinging has continued to exist unchallenged because they're clearly toys. If that changes it could affect the hobby detrimentally and may even see it legislated against in some places.

One thing is that firearms have paid attention to ergonomics for about two hundred years.
Since the purpose of this toy is to be held in one hand and launch a projectile in an aimed fashion, while minimizing the mass and bulk of the entire system, it's going intentionally into the territory where firearms have almost always lived. If there was another configuration which could efficiently meet those functions, firearms would already have at least tried it.

This look about as real as a lot of the more realistic elite blasters, and I think that is even pushing it given how this thing is both bright orange and its slide is so ridiculously big that it goes past your wrist, which I've only seen from very specialized pistol carbine prototypes. Not allowing it at wars when many popular 3d printed blasters are more gun like then this, and even the pro MK1 is more gun like then this, seems pointless and actively would be pushing people out of the hobby. As for you wanting the color black to be gone from the hobby, unless you are taking it outside I dont like the idea of limiting people's creativity with blasters. • @accurate-stormtrooper8076

I understand why people may be nervous to use this in public or are upset that it looks realistic, but foam blasters are modeled after guns. What else are they? They shoot projectiles. And yes compared to Nerf toys, this is very realistic, but what else is it suppose to look like. They are toy guns that shoot foam darts, why shouldn’t they look remotely like guns. And yes, this is realistic but it comes with a HUGE BRIGHT ORANGE muzzle attachment, which informs people that this is a toy and not a firearm. So overall I’m okay with how this looks, and I don’t see a problem with the fact that it looks like a gun.

Looks like a gun... ish. But you brought up a similar hobby where the guns are *made* to resemble real guns. The orange tip is enough for airsoft. Now a comparably less realistic-looking one in the colors of a cherry and orange starburst bring it dangerously close to resembling a real gun? I'm sure this is also a worry for airsoft players, depending on where they are, but airsoft remains a pretty popular sport. Honestly, i like how it kind of reminds me of a futurized version of the c93 borschardt with that elongated rear-portion, yet it loads like the old c96 Mauser. I admit, I'm a bit of a firearms enthusiast, so I might like it for all the wrong reasons 🤷‍♂️

There are lots of ways to make it look less like a real firearm and honestly it doesn't look so much like a firearm in the first place, that elongated slide makes it look like it's more for something like paintball along with being a bright cherry red. I mean maybe the thing I see being the bigger issue is when it's in the holster. The idea of Ambi holsters is a interesting concept, most holsters you find for Nerf applications aren't ambidextrous and sure it would be nice but that certainly isn't the most important point.I never thought to myself to try and put darts in the stripper Clips while they were holstered, I think they probably should have just not had that hole in the bottom.

Then they expect the panicked call complaining there are people with guns in the park. Also then when they get the call they already know you are there and will advise the responding unit(s) that nerfers/airsofters are there and to be mindful of them. I have had instances where the officer/deputy patrolling would be sent to double check a 911 call, find us having fun.... then ask to borrow a blaster, radio in his lunch break and join in for a few rounds! A courtesy call will save you lots of grief and maybe a tragedy. If the police/sheriff do show up, STOP IMMEDIATELY, and comply with any instructions they give you and you will be fine. As a lefty myself... someone else pointed out in a different review that since this is real-steel sized, there will be six gajillion third-party lefty real-steel holsters available that will accomodate the DZP MK2. IF I get one, I'll just grab a third-party holster. Shrug.

10 minutes after release and there's already a dislike...
    Jangular's points are VALID!
The performance is amazing and the ergonomics are better than the Ultra 3, minus the back corner of the grip for some hands! But at the same time, there are solid points made _especially_ on the blaster holster and the resemblance to real firearms, especially in low or distance perspectives.
Thanks for playing devil's advocate, it won't detract me from buying a MK II, but I'll defo give it a brighter ELITE blue n' white paint job for style and safety!

I dont think I've ever seen an elite blue blaster brighter then the red they used for this tbh. I would probably do the same just cause I love the elite color scheme, but safety seems like an odd reason to do that

@@aidanquiett668 Fair point, I guess I should've clarified that I use a shade brighter than the OG blue but not to the point of sky or neon. The white and orange accents also are distinguished more by the offset of a darker cooler color.

@@Spartan412 That makes some sense. Still feel like a pure orange/red and white scheme is more useful for safety, but as long as it isnt navy blue or black you should be fine

The two caveats I have with this blaster is
    1) It looks like a firearm, which in the hobby of Dart Tag, not the best for public wars.
    2) It's 150 GBP including shipping to get it over the UK, F. Good luck trying to get it if you are not in NA unless you wanna pay a tonne of mula for it.
But other than that, I really, really, really, want this blaster for someone who has never owned a dart zone blaster due to not being in North America.

I like the video, it tells people that not everything is a winner, but we also can look forward to a cheaper one in the tactical strike like how the nexus pro is better (in my opinion) than the dart zone mrk1 and mrk1.1

There won't be an adventure force version of this ever. It's a bit of a cash grab. Good on em for making blasters for those that don't want to mod. My prophecy is better then any of the dart zone blasters. I know the intended market is not modders or tinkerers.
If you think this will be on walmart shelfs sorry to say but never gonna happen. This is going to have the same situation as the mk1.1
