another great episode! I want to clarify what I meant by pace. I enjoy the fact that you are taking time to automate many things, rather than skipping through the unlocks as fast as possible! I think its great if you take more time and explain what you are doing more. especially as things are getting more complex now.
Ah, great! Thanks! I appreciate the feedback and it seems like everyone likes any speed I go, so I'm going to continue slow and steady.
We're getting into the complicated parts of SF+ now 🙂 Not to worry, it only gets worse from here, lol. Hoping for some mod updates in the near future, so I can get back to playing with this awesome mod again. If you can, you might want to crush and stockpile your sulphur (Cold slag can be crushed into stone as well, if you didn't know), as it takes an insane amount of crushed sulphur to make sulphoric acid soon. I would also start stockpiling sand for oilproduction, which is probably not so far away as well.

Thanks so much! The devs have said SF+ Update 8 compatibility patch should be ready this weekend for their Patron's to test. I happen to be a Patron, so I'm definitely going to be checking it out. I'll try to remember to report back. You're the second person to suggest crushing sulfur, but I don't have that recipe unlocked yet, so I'll have to wait until I do.
The complexity is daunting, but I think I can force NEXUS to do most of the work for me.

Happy that CSS keeps the game DRM free so you can play offine and such. You know that you can also copy the game folder somewhere else and run it from the new folder - that way your Epic install can update and you can access it if you like, while still having an Update 7 version kicking around.
Looking forward to seeing how this unfolds. This is about where my last SatPlus playthrough got to before I decided it was a jumbled mess and I needed to see how some more experienced content creators handled it.
Your verbosity was spot on for the level of complexity you were tackling. Do you ever stream your playing? I might be interested in seeing how you work through the next phase!
Thanks for the nice comment! I've never streamed previously but it is something I'm looking to explore in the future. I'd like to work on a set here in my studio first.
I've had that feedback about copying the folder to run U7 whenever I want, but can I do that with mods?
@@BEDplaysGAMES that's my understanding, yes. The game folder structure should work as it normally does and your Epic install will have a /Mods folder in it. If you copy the whole thing, then you have the mods too.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. The U8 update performance has led me to do the same offline gametype too. So, thanks to your video series, I setup Satisfactory plus on U7 and am lovin' it. I'm currently up to bronze ingots and going strong. :)
Awesome! The SF+ devs posted today that they expect an U8 fix patch to be coming this weekend for their Patron's to test. I'll report back if I have time to try it out. After this patch they're planning a complete overhaul of the mod, which I'm very excited for...but I need to finish this playthrough first.

I respawn in the cabin empty of inventory and stuff when I "continue" the game. and the old avatar sits as yours do. but when you load the game from the save, it working fine (except 1-2 times).

You could try launching the game through the .exe in the game’s main directory.
I hear that works, but can I do it with mods? That's my concern and where I lack experience and knowledge.

I have to say that I liked the old intro better. As in the black overlay with letter holes.
AI Limiters are only needed for Smart Splitters according to the wiki. So Idk if there is really a reason to automate them, when you can just handcraft them.
Lime Steel is good for later. Or for now, depending on how much Crushed Stone you have left over.
Oh, and to get into the Nexus, you need to do some research into Sulfur because you need the Fluid and Gas Module to mine Quantum Crystals.
