Glad you found my comment useful regarding gas-power. Gas just flows, so no pumps needed = major win. I just grew cotton and mycelia and ran that into weavers for my filtering of toxic air for the powerplant. You might want to overclock the airsplitters, as they only give you 36 m3/min base, and they have a proximity mechanic like the windmills, so they have to be spread out a bit. There's a key-function that brings up the collision sphere for the splitters, it's pretty handy. Glad to see everything chucking along, keep up the good work :-)
Thanks for the feedback! I'll get to overclocking once I get the invar going. I think that's what was holding me up for power shard.
As an update / correction to your post in the video: hydrogen is burnable after updating the mod to the latest version (i.e. including update from Satisfactory Update 7 => 8) and switching from gas burners to solution burners. According to the mod's release notes the gas burners are deprecated, will be removed in future versions, and all recipes have been moved to the solution burner. Burning hydrogen in the solution burner DOES produce heat (and water), so the extra steps for oxyhydrogen production are no longer necessary.
Also note that (depending on the version) updating the mod may cause existing gas burners and boilers to require fresh piping, because the pipes start/stop at wrong places of the model (I guess the model got changed) and are no longer functional. This caused a major power outage in my game, but I was somewhat expecting it after updating from Satisfactory Update 7 to 8 and also updating the mod.
Anyway, you still need the plastic from oil, so producing power by burning oil byproducts is still a good idea, because how else would you get rid of them? (okay, packaging and sinking them is still an option)
@@danielh.9010 This is amazing, thanks! I'll definitely test it on camera to spread the word. Thanks again!
@@danielh.9010 Thanks Daniel, that's good to know. I haven't played much lately, so this particular detail escaped my attention.
Yeah, I am burning every scrap of fuel and diesel in my oil setup, but needed some extra juice in the wires, and gas was the easiest way to go for me.
I like the sound of a peta-plant. Which has a few terra-factories.
I like it! I'm compiling a list.
Hello Bed,
For the nexus pole in the train pillar blueprint, you placed it like I tought of it. The cable for power and Nexus going along one above the other. Really love the design.
And I have a suggestion for the factory name also in place of Tera Factory, why not Tetra Factory (Tetra for your 4 branches)?
For rails, to be tested, if you begin 2 slope before the pillar and put 2 slope inbound of the last before the pillar (so the 'previous' direction of the slope), It may end in a flat stance with the curvature. (To be fiddled about to test, I can't try on my side).
Good pleasure for the rest.
Thanks for the feedback! Those are great ideas. During editing I think I've decided I want to run the trains on the outside of the building instead so we can see them going up around the TetraFactory.
TEtRA. teTra. Maybe stylize the word to focus on both the Tetra and Tera feeling. I love it!
acieeeeeeeeeedddd (subscribing purely cos of this title)
Man alive, maybe I should include it in everyone title!
I felt the same way about the facsit network being too easy when I first started using it, but when I looked at what you unlock in the late game and the way I think it is supposed to be used then I think it makes more sense to use it. It seems like the devs have a really cool but different idea of how factories will work in SF+.
It's definitely cool. It made the farming so much easier, I appreciated that.
Love this série you just gain one sub
Thanks! Glad to have you!

@@BEDplaysGAMES thanks for sharing
nice video! not sure if your into puzzle games, but I just played through chants of sennaar, its like a translate languages puzzle game and its so good.
I'm definitely into *certain* puzzle games. And this one looks promising. And I have a love for language. So do my kids. Is it appropriate for 10-13 year olds?
@@BEDplaysGAMES that is probably not a question I can answer! I know children that age who would love it, and some that wouldnt understand it.
EDIT: wow this is a novel! apologies.
essentially, you walk around and solve puzzles. you are given glyphs, both written and spoken, and have to decipher the meaning. in the beginning that is mostly from context clues, but as it continues words get more abstract. identifying verbs, nouns and locations by general shape and location, is helpful. as well as understanding different sentence structures like how things are pluralized, or the subject/verb relationships.
eventually you have to translate between different languages. I find the system that you use to record your notes about glyphs to be superb, and easy to understand. the biggest complaint I have seen is that there are some other puzzles, particularly some stealth ones that people object to. personally I find them a nice occasional distraction.
the story is pretty good and the theme is about bringing people of different cultures together.
Also I say coupon like coo-pon
Thanks for the feedback!
