@@drummerchilipepper I'm disappointed they haven't started playing it during concerts yet, but I'm sure it'll happen eventually. They have been playing Whatchu Thinkin' at concerts, which is probably my second or third favorite off Unlimited Love.
Chad is the most underrated member of RHCP but I think he really holds this entire track - and entire album - together!! His playing here is TOPNOTCH
not only that, he is one of the most underrated drummers in history.
Smith is probably top 5 alive right now. Not bc he’s insanely technical, but bc he lays out the perfect canvas every time for all of the other guys to Paint on. He’s a perfect combination of rock, hard deep funk, jazz, and punk. He plays what’s right for the song, which is way more than someone who’s trying to be the best technically.
Man its just the visibility in human society. Rhcp wouldnt be anything without all of these 4 men. Chad's a genius and one of the most talented drummers bandwise

I'm 16 years old and have been listening to RHCP for some time. They are one of the few artists whose songs I can listen to all the time and I don't know why but I feel like I've known them for years. I've been listening to their old albums and thought they were done with music but now happy and excited about the new album. They have been making music for the past 4 decades without losing their authenticity and that says a lot about them.
Wait till you listen to every song. When I was in highschool I had a playlist on my old phone with 250 songs on it. Not a bad one. You should also look into John frusciantes solo stuff if you haven’t

This is the first one off this album I learned on bass too!!! That bass line in the chorus is just bouncy and fun party funky vibes! It is so much fun to play, second one I learned was It's only Natural, great slow slapping on that one.
