I cried the first time hearing this. Not because I was sad but because this is the kind of sound I've missed since stadium arcadium and it fills me with pure joy listening to this.
To hear John behind Anthony’s vocals again is like a breath of fresh air. It’s like seeing your true love for the first time. Johns so fuckin talented and probably one of the best. Wish I could see these guys live with my mom.

This new/old stuff is absolutely incredible. So elegant, and refined, yet so familiar. These guys have grown with every album. If aliens ever show up, this should be presented as some of the best music our planet can produce.
Each and every member of this band, IMO, is the best at what they do. Anthony may not be the best singer of all time, but he is the best at what he does. The lyrics he writes, his delivery, the soul, funk & punk all mixed in there in his voice, all together with some poetic rap in it. No one can do that like Anthony, period. Each one of them, their own piece of magic, all coming together as perfection.
This song is literally the RHCP's essence, Antony's voice and John's vocals, the mythical flea slap technique and the rythms of Chad, I love you guys so much ❤️ Edit: I just heard the solo part and I'm crying about how is such a masterpiece 😭

He was a Southend boy, not enough smile, but he sure could fight
She was a daddy’s girl, pride of all Brixton with dragon sight
[Pre-Chorus]
But she can’t go home tonight

It’s only natural
And lovers will show you how to break it down
In spite of attraction, well
It’s only natural
And people will show you how to break it down
In spite of your love, steady up

They were a perfect pair
A clash of two beauties and the rash of vein
Nobody knows just when lightning will strike
But it always came
[Pre-Chorus]
And she can’t go home tonight
No, she can’t go home tonight
[Chorus]
It’s only natural
And lovers will show you how to break it down
In spite of attraction, well
It’s only natural
And people will show you how to take it down
In spite of your love, steady up
