This video couldn’t have come at a better time. I just upgraded to the qr2 and since Fanatec is out of stock of their qr2, I purchased this one as well. It’s cheaper than the normal qr2 and free shipping to the US. Still baffles me how Fanatec doesn’t offer free shipping in 2024 especially with the price you’re forking over for their products.

The Fanatec QR2 is a chinese knockoff of the Krontec QR3 in the first place. So it really shouldn't be a surprise that the aliexpress feel and function nearly the same as the actual fanatec ones.

@@Xotiw how to show you have absolutely no clue of engineering, product development and mass manufacturing. The measurements need to be dead on or else you have a QR1 V2 with a lot of play. You need to balance the tolerances with the execution time on each machine as well as the resulting costs, and so on. Especially with different matierals that are supposed to provide very similar experiences this task is much more difficult. The additional times for testing and finding solutions for issues and then getting this draft to be mass manufacturable is a pain in the ass.

It can withstand 32nm with easeThe main thing is not to forget to install the round plastic that comes with the kit, this is very important.!!!! These are Fanatec requirements... And the Chinese took care to add it to the kit... Because if you don’t install it, the steering wheel’s internal part will not be in tight contact with the QR2 that is installed in the base.. When you install the plastic ring.... Please note that the head of the bolt should not be higher than the plastic.... Use the bolts that come with the qr2.
