Especially if you are split between PC and PS5, a single 16:9 display made the most sense to me. I have the Quest Pro and PSVR2 for immersion, but I just can’t use them for extended sessions yet. I ended up going with the LG C2 42” OLED and have been happy with it and the built-in speakers.
Could be a bit more ergonomic, but maybe its just a personal preferance. I would move the monitor further back and higher. The keyboard and mouse can then move back with the monitor so that your elbows can rest comfortably on the table.
I think it is ok. Rig overall takes much space, but you do it very well. You encouraged me to use my 65' TV as main monitor to connect with a rig. Then rig I have to build on wheels and moves it when I watch just films or do it simracing. I had thought previously to build my utrawide 49', 34' or triple to use it as my home office and simracing after work but when I add costs then could be too pricey for me right now. We need to think about costs and space and do compromise with that.
Nice clean setup. I'm envious of the 55" display. Also, when it's time to replace your seat, I highly recommend finding a used Mazda MX-5 seat (any are good but I especially like the NA version) and adapting it to the rig. I did this a few years ago and found it to be very comfortable and supportive.
If you are going TV for simracing, i know this sounds very over the top, but would say go for a OLED, but thats mostly because of the speed of those TV's On another note, looking forward for the Asetek pedal review!
@@randomcallsign I've had a random chinese OLED tv I took a chance on from costo and you wouldn't believe just how fast and smooth OLED is. A bit like CRT and plasma, they are just so inherently fast that providing it just works, it's hands down better than most lcd derived panels!
It's funny (not) to see how people like U try to defend their decisions on their own office layout choices. It's perfect 4 U at the moment, that's what really matters. Who cares what some fools on other side of screen think? I personally adore how U not trying to get latest and most expensive shieeet with no real reason. Respect.
Perfect!! You used what seemed to you, in hindsight, sufficient to have an optimal configuration at all levels. Many people comment well on these hydraulic pedals... how can you compare them with the Simagic P2000?? Above or below?? . I also see that an 8nm base is more than sufficient 🙂 My final configuration should be very close to yours, except for the size of the game screen.... I can't yet decide on the definition to display.
Recommend a mousemat, ive been running steelseries qck mats for years, they are great, stops your mouse from getting dirt on the skates and keepa them looking new, no scratches etc.
I loved vr on my rig but only problem is fps was average unless u spend big bucks on pc, and simple things like typing in chat on assetto corsa was hard and annoying
O.o Do I spot both a Stream Deck Plus ánd a Loupdeck Live (or Razer Stream Controller)?.. What are your thoughts on both? Do you intend to use them as sim racing button boxes as well? Why (not)? Slick setup BTW! 👍 Edit: NVM, I should’ve watched until the end, before commenting. 😬
Super clean setup mate. Lighting is fantastic too. ❤
Glad you like it!

Well, yeah but it is done now. If LG sends one, I'll use it 😁

I have a single screen in my rig due to lack of space, but your video makes me happier with my situation, thanks haha
Lol same here, optimum tech is the reason I spend so much money on my PC and peripherals, also with the minimal setup👌
Nice and clean. Perfect

never checked the P2000
@@randomcallsign I see thank you.
Last question, at 6:23 the gpu was correctly set to 4 k??🤔
I would like to know the specs of your cats 😹😹😹 jokes aside, when things get slimmer, it's always for the best. Enjoy your setup!

@@randomcallsign you go for the best! 😻😻

Single monitor setups look so clean but it's just so impractical. I even struggle with my dual monitors at work, cant go anything less than 3 at home.

Just redid my desk setup all imea because of affordability and quality. Waiting for my aluminum frame and then my bedroom/sim space will be done.

It's a good setup for an office desk.
I love your setup!
Can you compare the DD1 to the clubsport wheelbase?
Clubsport is better
Clean and minimal👌I like it!

Can you please share your dd+ settings for gt7 and acc 🙏
Showing some love from RaceBeyondMatter viewers! ❤
Wondering, Is the DD+ an upgrade over the DD1?

Love it! Deffo not minimalist though lmao
