The Job points remind of Of Another Eden With the 4 star that can go to 5 star or getting a 5 star but not the Super unlocked 6 or the getting the Another Version of that character
game is suuuuper similar to Another Eden

I’m currently playing Octopath Traveler on the switch. It’s fun even though I’m not an rpg fan. So because the mobile game is coming this month, I’m playing it at my own pace.

man i almost missed the nier banner on global ig... I started a day ago and rerolled about 13 times, finally got 9s, 2b, and a2 :D so awesome!!

I was wondering if you could make a video explaining more in depth how upgrading characters works? For example, once I find a 5* Viola, what else do I need to have her maxed out?
for now, nothing! everything in the guide details maxing a character out. in future content, some more things get added, and I'll cover that then, but it's nothing too complex. more so just pulling dupes.

Do you know how to attack on different enemies when in the battle? My entire team always attack the same enemy
Is Crit strictly a damage multiplier? I assume it's not crit chance since its not 0-100

So the question I have is; Does the pity carry over on the limited banners? I notice that you get some sort of memory thing per pull to be used in the exchange.
I just started this game and have been running around with a party of 4: Sofia, Nanna, Jose, and Conny I've just been battling monsters to lvl up for now. I guess I'm doing alright approaching this game like a traditional RPG, I'm wanting to save everything I've gotten from the feats and whatnot for when I get better characters. The only thing I'm confused about is recruitment, should I start recruiting people from the town I'm in right off the bat? Because I was about to recruit this Hollow Eyed Woman as I came back to the town because I saw she has what looks like a good Fire element attack...
do a pull somewhat soon so you can have a party of 8! and yeah, recrut townspeople whenever you want!
Why couldn’t they just port the switch version? I would of been happy with that.
What does "paired allies" mean? The one passive I got says:
Start of battle: Impart Paired Allies with Elem. Def. Up 10% (3 turns)
Should be whoever is in the front and back row together

I have a question tho, I tried to make pulls on 2 devices, with one acct I got Viola and Tressa as starting 5 stars then on the 2nd device, I pulled Fioré and Theo, which one do you think is better? I’m just kind of confused which one to keep, if you can give me a suggestion that’d be awesome. Thankyou!
Tressa is limited, and Viola is top tier, so I’d go with that!

Are you able to have 2 of your travelers attack one enemy, and the other 2 attack another? Or do all 4 have to attack the same guy in the same turn?

How quick are the daily missions? I don't think I have the time to sink into this game rn, and ideally would like just doing the bare minimum for now.
Probably 10 minutes. You won’t miss too much if you don’t log in everyday luckily, and this is a game that doesn’t require a lot of your time each day (or at all), it’s all at your pace.

thanks!! you can pull H’aanit on any banner, but yes only with gacha. none of the banners are the “best”, just pull on which one you want!

@@kapsgacha yeah I watched your video, sounds like she’s solid, but not a MUST pull. I also only got her as a 4.5 which is a bit Sadge, but I’m sure she’ll be useful. Looks like a good spread of high single and multi target bow damage
Do you always get the dancer Lynette at the beginning? I was just wondering if it’s always the same in case I should restart for a better hero
you have to delete the entire app/account to receive a different 5* from the pull. Lynette is great!

Question, if there's a single player story, then what are the updates for? So the gacha character have their own stories to unlock are there more story that's updated?
Yup - the story is ongoing, with more challenge content and more travelers!

@@kapsgacha wait so each gacha character has their own little story arc? If so that would be the main selling point for me because i love character development and building my own party regardless of their star level.
@@timothymoua6706 this game has a plot line long-term that is updated with more story. Outside of that, every single character in the game has a “traveler story”. While they aren’t too big, you get to know every single character and what they’re like outside of battle!

I absolutely don't understand how the guide portion works wirh gems.
No guild battles and such what is to keep people playing long term? Other than just going through the different stories.
The story grow, arena, towers, dice game, lots to do.

I am going to start up the game. How many 5 star characters should I expect to get if I am willing to restart a bunch of times?
you start with 1, people reroll for 2 or 3. there's also a paid pull you can do to have another guaranteed.
How Do I SAVE The Game? I Mean, SQEX Members Don't Work.
Glad it’s not pay2win. I’m a pretty huge fan of the original Octopath, so that would’ve been more than slightly disappointing if they used the name to get some money out of people like that. Regardless, I probably will support the game a bit just because of how much effort was obviously put into the package here.
I've never played the original Octopath, but I really wanted to, and that's why I downloaded Champions of the Continent.
So far, I have Scarecrow, Nanna, Jose, and Conny, since I just started playing. Is that a good team to start off with?

I personally hope the guaranteed 5* carries over to the full game since I've been trying to get Sofia in both the JP and CBT and had no luck in either sadly

what's the deal with the tutorial path choices? I know you said you can switch, but given we can't go back once we click, do you know if the character themselves are the same?
you have to delete your account your app for a new character to draw. once you summon the first, the game saves it automatically

Any point in saving traveler's sacred seal or should i just blow em all as i get them?
You can keep them if you want, when new characters get added to the game, they enter that same pool eventually (besides collabs)

So the first character you start off with is completely random? What if you don't like that character? Is it possible to reroll the first character or will you have to delete the game?
Yeah, if you don’t want to start with that first character pull, you’ll have to delete and reinstall or wipe your data (android can do this). The rerolling process might be simple if it is the same as the beta. Only 8 characters to reroll for!

Also there's no arena mode or pvp of ANY type?? That kinda sucks
well this game is more of a console like game, so there isn't any PvP. an arena comes in future patches, and there is the tower system as well (floor after floor of battles).
I was hoping it would be gacha I love gacha games like brave frontier and ffbe but I'm always f2p I just grind hard and optimize

It's a mobile game. If it wasn't a gatcha, I'd be disappointed. What do you do with dupes?
Dupes will provide stones to increase level caps.

Can you explain why is it recommended that we only do chapter 1 of one story path then do chapter 1 of another instead of just finishing one whole path before starting another? Does it have to do with difficulty or something?

I am hype but I dont see this game lasting very long. There is no way this will last long. No social elements, the 4.5 unit BS, and the only reason to pay is characters or levelling. Idk...I don't feel this will last long. Hopefully this comment doesn't age well.
🙄 wayyyyy too early to be pessimistic. JP is about to hit 2 years with a long roadmap.
